UndertaleBlue updates!

Ok, so! April has been just about the busiest month of my life and I am still not free from the shackles of deadlines and responsibilities. I am, unfortunately, eternally busy. Also a lot of bullshit happened that was completely out of my control. (So much bullshit. Just. So much. I need to sleep forever I’m so tired) Anyway! I really have nothing to show for it except for a handful of song ideas. Also I’m taking another AP coding class next year, so I’ll be able to code in two languages! Hopefully! I have hope! I cannot remember what I’ve said so far, so I’m gonna assume I’ve said everything. Vivian has somewhat of a theme? That may or may not take inspiration from Cookie Run Kingdom. Oran has concepts of a theme. There will be buzzing. That I can guarantee! I also have a chord idea for Cnidaria’s main motif. Anyway, I have 80 million things to do and 80 million billion deadlines to meet, so I probably won’t be posting for a hot minute, but I will still be plotting and scheming as much as I can! All the plots and all the schemes! Cool great awesome bye!

Oran Odon! I already explain the name and stuff in the silly little blurb so go read it if you want! He has a funky little sweater vest/dress type deal! I thought the yellow would help blend him more towards feiry colors and not be as bright and glaringly different as orange or yellow would be. I call him "probably a trans alagory" in the other blurb, I hope I used alegory correctly, I definetly didn't spell it right but it's fineeeee, anyway! The easiest way to tell the difference between dragonflies and damselflies is that when resting dragonflies have their wings out and damselflies have them tucked away. Those aren't dragonfly wings!

I'm so excited, he's gonna be Cnidaria's best friend. He's a miniboss, I have such ideas for the main boss of the ruin-sey area but I can't figure out how to get the hair right :{ I will say I have an idea for the Waterfall shopkeeper! She's gonna be based off of the Norse Goddess Rán, because she has a net! And in Magnus Chase they trade things with her! I also have plots and schemes for the entire world!

Basically when I was younger I went to th ebeach and someone dug a really really deep hole. And when you looked in it there was just this massive cavern under the sand with sand salagmites and stalagtights and there was water and it probably wasn't real be ause the sand would fall down on top of it, but younger me thought it was and since then held the belief that everything ends up water if you dig deep enough. So, since Cnidaria falls a lot further down after getting smacke din th eface with a fireball, everything's very wet. The Ruins area under the ruins is a bayou/swamp/carnival, the snowdin area is gonna be like the artic circle, a bunch of islands and sheets of ice adrift in a sort of sea, I'm sticking a mangrovey area inbetween the Ruins and Snowdin area because I fucking love mangroves so much you don't understand, and Waterfall's gonna be more under-the-sea themed I think. I have notes for an area inbetween the Snowdin themed area and the Waterfall themed one, but my phone is dead so I can't check it right now. So everything's wet and danc-y! I think I talked about how everything's dancy already, so I won't talk about it again. Unless I didn't! In which case whoops! If there's any recomendations for things that aren't dance but are very similar, please give them to me!!! I already have color guard, circus/trapeeze stuff, and aerial hoop. There are deffinetly others but again, dead phone.

Honestly if people are intrested please ask me questions. I have sketches/notes from the corners of my math notes if people want to see those. I'm gonna be very very busy very very soon until like the 13th but I'm hyperfixating so hard please ask me questions.

Also apperently it's damsel and not dame? I thought it was damesfly this whole time.

Also also! I have no clue if before June 5th is a reasonalble deadline! I took AP coding! I've never made a video game or know how to code in a game engine! I can Python, that's about it! I'm hoping to at least have all the characters/sprites and area layouts done! Maybe soundtracks stuff? Definetly the Ruins. If I can I might do a demo of just the Ruins, but I have no clue unfortunatly. I'm also toying with the idea of making a demo with just a passifist option? We will see!

I want my version of Once Upon a Time to be in 3/4 because that’s waltzing tempo! I think that’s the first dance she learned, their sister picked her up and twirled them in the air. Her favorite animal is a jellyfish. Her favorite hairstyle is beaded braids, they have little rainbow flowers because a girl in my kindergarten class had them and they were the best thing ever. I am going to cry when she dies. I have some ideas for songs and I made a mini boss, but I’m in class right now and will have to wait until after school to rant about it

My want as a storyteller to be ominous meets my insaciable need as a person who is deffinetly hyperfixating on this to rant about it to anyone who will stand still long enough for me to start talking.

Ok so! Integrity is being honest and morals. Because of this, Cnidaria needs to be able to justify all of the routes as The Right Thing To Do. As long as she can rationalize it, they can continue to be an Intergrity soul and also do all the routes. The ratinoalization is going to come from manipulation from Flowey. He's gonna manipulate a situation where Torial ends up chucking a fireball at Cnidaria's face. He's then gonna say some stuff about "All the mean monsters are killing the nice ones! We're scared to leave our houses! If a monster attacks you, kill them!" That way, Cnidaria has "proof" (her face, and also how monsters keep attacking them to steal her soul and such), so she can justify a Neutral run as "They attacked me first, they were one of the mean monsters terrorizing the nice ones", and she can justify Genocide as "They will kill any human that falls down here. They want to kill me. If my sister falls looking for me, they will kill her too. This is the right thing to do. They need seven souls. They will kill seven children. Seven children may not even fall down! Death is a mercy, and will protect any human that falls down here." Also, she has a sister! Their sister's in collage, she told them about the monsters and how they used to live on the surface and were then imprisoned. This leads to Cnidaria sneaking away from her dance recital (because she's wearing their tutu, I don't think a small child is allowed to keep wearing a tutu outside of a dance setting, especially where it could get torn or ruined) and running off to Mount Ebbot, because no one returns from there and the mountain will eat you! Which must be where the monsters are! The mountain ate them! I don't remember if I said but Cnidaria is a small child! They try to act stoic and will refuse to be called a kid but she is a small child! Their sister did her bun! They don't know how to do it herself! They're really good at ballet! The fireball launches her backwards so they fall at lot farther down and end up in a purple-y baiou area with a circus! She's gonna meet a certain dragonfly and have a panic attack! I'm very excited to work on sprites and coding and music :} I am very very busy for like all of April but I'm gonna try so hard to make time to work on this, I have so many ideas :}

Ok, so! My mother (who teaches marine biology) has informed me that Cnidaria is pronounced Nigh-daria. I pronounce it Sin-daria, and am probably gonna keep doing that, just so we know

minecraft movie but it’s a ghibli-esque animated film about surviving in the wilderness with a healthy balance of legitimately tense monster sequences and relaxing building, farming, and mining. under no circumstances will it be longer than 90 minutes. steve will not be white

LOOK SHE CAN WALK NOW!!!! In the little side pockets of her backpack they have her ballet shoes (The one pixel pink thing) and their waterbottle (the two pixel black thing). Also I fixed the side sprides, they are the right height now! (Don't look at the side feet [They're not that bad but part of it's hidden under the tutu]) But yeah! She's here!

So now we have this! She is spinning! I think the heads a bit too small on th eside profiles but it is like midnight so that can be tommorow mes problem! I also don't know how to get each immage individually but that can also be a tommorow problem! Good night!

(As of right now I really just have this sprite, a couple song ideas, and a fuck ton of paragraphs. I want the final fight for Genocide to be color guard themed because fuck yes. Her name is Cnidaria because that's what my friends voted for. It's one of the classes Jellyfish are in! It's a C name because at the moment Frisk is the only Fallen Child without one and they survived so all the dead ones should have C names I think. They're wearing white sneakers and holding the ballet shoes, the blue straps are a backpack! The other name ideas I had were Cyanea, Coelenterata, Chrysaora, and Cassiopea! They're all jellyfish themed because ballerinas remind me of jellyfish. Cnidaria uses she/they! She's awesome, I love them :} )
