how do I gain your comic making abilities?? How must one lock into the mindset
yuri
I recommend believing in the depths of your soul that you know exactly what you're doing and you will succeed and that the finished product will be great and singular and will save lives and contribute to the causal cascade by which the messianic era is to be effected. Anytime you start to question these affirmations immediately dismiss your doubts as baseless insecurity possibly imposed on you by capitalism and/or evil witches. If you start to feel like what you're drawing is unsalvageably bad immediately turn off your discursive brain and begin moving your hand automatically. Also never sketch or story board that takes too much time. You have to make as many drawings as fast as possible because you're going to die. We're all going to die.

While it seems like an obvious answer, I feel like there's something more than meets the eye, so... 26 for the blight boys? Thank you!!!
26. Fight or flight?
712 — Neither. The "fight" reflex is pretty well trained into him, of course, but 712 is naturally more inclined to freeze. When he's trapped, threatened, or doesn't know what to do (as in, situations that his training didn't consider), he just goes quiet and still.
Yasha — Unfortunately, fight. Yasha hates that violence is his instinctive response to a perceived threat; outside of Blight, he'd actively work to suppress that reflex, not wanting to be seen as "dangerous" to anyone who's trying to help him.
Kai — Fight. Lashing out when he feels threatened is pure instinct for Kai, by now. Even if it's often with the subconscious goal of escaping a potentially dangerous situation as soon as possible, physical violence is the only way he knows to protect himself.

18 for Ritsu and Arashi? So much Trauma TM happens in their story that it's hard for me to picture them in normal settings...
18. Beach or forest?
Ritsu — Either option would be worlds better than the perpetual crowds and dark skies of the city. Ultimately, he might enjoy the beach a little more— just lying around in the sun, with clean air to breathe and the peaceful sound of waves in the background.
Arashi — Forest. He's not a fan of how... exposed beach-appropriate clothing feels. A long hike would do him more good mentally, anyway; being physically worn out from the exercise might help him settle down a bit inside his head, too.

Wow Happy Anniversary! How about 3 and 6 for the Oracle boys?
(I'm getting hyped for Shigure already, let's go whiny boy!!)
3. Sunrise or sunset?
Hiroyuki — Sunset. Since he's usually at work well past when the sun goes down, seeing the sunset through anything but narrow office windows is a rare treat. That, and watching a pretty sunset while tipsy-drunk is as close to a relaxing experience as Hiroyuki gets.
Kyou — Sunset. Mornings are rough, with Kyou having to haul himself out of bed no matter how sick or achy he feels. It's hard to appreciate something like a sunrise when he's that miserable, so sunset is his "favorite" by default... not that he's too fond of either.
Xane — Sunrise. Even though he gets up at an inhumanly early enough hour to see it every day, daylight slowly creeping into the world always feels peaceful to him. There's something hopeful about the sunrise, so seeing it is a pleasant part of his morning routine.
6. Rural living or urban living?
Hiroyuki — Urban, if only because it's what he knows. Hiroyuki feels alone enough in the city, where there are thousands of people nearby at any given moment— a rural environment would surely feel even more lonely, right? Especially with no family or friends...
Kyou — Answered here!
Xane — Urban. Living somewhere rural might be better in a number of ways, but Xane worries that he'd be much too bored. His job may be miserably stressful, but at least the constant "something to do" it provides keeps him from being alone with his mind.

I wonder... What about 4 for the Blackview boys? Love you!
4. Neon or pastel?
Ritsu — Either is fine. Unless the hue in question is outright eye-searing, Ritsu doesn't have many strong preferences about color. Pastels and neons can both be decent.
Arashi — Neon. Pastel colors are much too light and "girly" for him. Whether that's his actual taste or just another desperate attempt not to look weak is unclear, however.
Shigure — Neither. Shigure prefers dark, dull colors, not anything so cutesy or bright. He'll never admit it, but he's a bit self-conscious about owning (or liking) anything too "pretty".
Touru — Pastel. He doesn't like bright, glaring colors very much, and especially not if he's the one wearing them. It would draw far too much attention... or worse, be grating for others to look at.

5, 20 and 29 for Viktor (i miss my husband so much), Christian, and Touru?
5. Books or movies?
Viktor — Either. Movies are easier on days when he can hardly drag himself out of bed, but books are more likely to have plots that he'll enjoy. Viktor isn't too big on media in general, however— aside from what he has to read for school, he rarely seeks anything out.
Christian — Books. Aside from a very small (and educational) selection, he's never been allowed to watch movies. Books are what he's used to, and he loves them! Especially the kind of fairy tales that let him imagine places far different than his home...
Touru — Books. Movies are loud, and require something to watch them on... which means potentially getting in other people's way. Reading a book is quiet and solitary, and all he needs to do it is a bit of light. Thus, he much prefers curling up alone with a book.
20. Leather or denim?
Viktor — Leather. And for the exact reasons you might expect. (Horny reasons, that is...)
Christian — Leather. There's plenty of expensive leather furniture in his house, so it's much more familiar to him.
Touru — Denim. There's no real reason for the preference, he just prefers the texture of denim more than leather.
29. Loud or soft?
Viktor — If asked directly, he'd claim to have no preference. However, Viktor does better when he has company and activity around him, instead of the kind of quiet that lets him get lost in his own head.
Christian — Either; it depends on the context! Christian is used to a quiet, controlled environment, so loud places can be too much to handle. Still, he likes to at least try going out of his comfort zone.
Touru — Soft. Loud noises are terribly overwhelming, and feeling overwhelmed just makes his ever-present anxiety worse... He struggles with the noise level of even crowded public spaces.

Otsuka Kotori
A dreamy sort of girl with a vicious temper when provoked.
Fickle, unstable, and seemingly always off in her own little world. Reality only matters when there’s something important in front of her.
Perpetually (uncomfortably) cheerful, with a wide, empty smile and a light, sing-song sort of voice.
She lives in an orphanage. It’s unclear what exactly happened to her family, and she’s certainly not telling. She’s been heavily abused by the orphanage’s staff— the majority of them male.
Prone to violent, disturbing behavior, most often with no apparent cause. Her mood can change dramatically with very little warning.
She’s harmed orphanage staff to the point where they had to sedate her, killed at least one neighborhood cat, and broken everything in her room on multiple occasions.
She hates men, but only superficially. Her real reason for joining the Higanbana club is because Izumi’s schemes seem fun.
Izumi sees her as something of a rescue project; in return, she’s developed a near-obsessive “crush” on the other girl.
Large machinery of any kind makes her visibly uneasy.

Eguchi Makoto
The “dumb muscle” of the club. Big and physically, but much kinder than her spiteful, vengeance-driven peers.
Bold, direct, and intensely loyal to anyone she considers a friend. The outgoing, straightforward type who acts first and thinks later.
Her father died in an accident when she was a small child. Her mother abandoned the family shortly after, leaving Makoto’s teenage brother to take care of both of them.
Said brother isn’t a bad person, exactly, but he resents Makoto for being a burden on his life, and lashes out at her because of it.
Forgiving to a fault, no matter how badly someone wrongs her.
She met Amaya in late elementary school, and latched onto the other girl almost instantly. The attachment forms because Makoto believes she can be “useful” in Amaya’s life, rather than just another burden.
Highly empathetic, to the point where seeing a loved one upset is actively, painfully distressing.
She’ll do nearly anything to help people, even at the cost of her own safety and well-being. Despite her good heart, her intelligence and common sense are sorely lacking.
Unaware of how dangerous Izumi is, she only joined the club because she thought it would make Amaya happy.

Hirano Amaya
A mysterious girl with far more issues than initially meets the eye.
The supplier of weapons, sedatives, and more for the club, though the other girls don’t know where or how she gets them.
Her family runs a particularly shady sex shop. They live on the upper floor of the building and sell barely-legal “supplements” to make ends meet... as well as some even less legal business.
Forces herself to act in ways that she thinks are pleasing to others; sweet, demure, quiet, and out of the way.
A good liar and actor, with a reclusive, isolated nature that keeps her at a distance from her peers. She wants friends, but has such severe trust issues that she struggles to open up to even peers.
Her worldview is deeply warped; she often believes things just because they’re what she’s seen, with no context as to what’s really “normal”.
Idolizes the concept of purity, even if she sees it as unattainable.
Makoto is her only friend; the other girl latched onto her for reasons that Amaya still doesn’t understand, but she’s grateful for the (undeserved) companionship nonetheless.
Her eerie, intimidating aura has gotten her labeled a “witch” at school.
