For me, it's helpful to avoid using the term "first draft." Ways to make it exist first:

-open and save the blank doc with a name.

-write a summary or even just the premise/hook that has your mind chewing on it

-list a couple of characters and start typing details in a list or bio paragraph

-start drawing a character or scene digitally or on paper

-start talking about your idea to others

-jot down some of the banger lines that are already coalescing in your brain

-start a messy, out-of-order "stuff I want to include!" list

-start writing a scene you're excited about. Literally any scene.

honestly, this phrase has been on my mind more times than i can count. i've kidnapped it, taken it as a hostage with no ransom money because i need it to live permanently in my head.

The way this is accurate though. One way you know you're ready for professional editing is when you are one second away from throwing your computer out the window. When, to quote several of my clients, "I can't stand to look at this document anymore. I HATE IT."
