i can't stop thinking about this post that i saw like... literally probably 3 months ago about veganism and the "vegan food industry", where somebody said, like, lol the vegan food industry?? what do u mean, fruits, grains and vegetables??? and it's like, okay yeah. eating meat is harmful for the environment, etc. i have no problem w/ veganism. luv it babs u do u. but it's also completely ignorant to act as though people who call out unethical or environmentally unsound practices in that sector of the food industry are just trying to lambast plain old fruits, grains, and vegetables. like i dont have the energy to waste on explaining why synthetic meats and megacorps that run factories producing vegan snack foods and shit is bad. if u dont get how thats bad im not super into the idea of talking to u anyway.

things that fascinate me abt iasip meta

charlie has eaten a baby toad, a rat, multiple worms, and a pigeon, and frank has eaten multiple human children (also a dead crow).

charlie seems to be immortal or at least immune to most/all poisons, diseases and physical ailments

the gang Literally has one collective consciousness as evidenced by clip show and may or may not be living in their own reality

mac's understanding of space escapes me because he knows who galileo is and he knows that he proved that the earth orbits the sun, but then he also thinks that the sun moves around in the sky because god chooses where to put it. he's been to the planetarium at least once but somehow doesn't know enough about stars to confidently say that they aren't just burnt up pieces of garbage that floated into the sky.

i have to fact-check this but dennis "serial killer uwu" reynolds might actually be responsible for the least deaths/murders of any member of the gang. frank has probably killed the most people just from being a negligent employer (relating to the first point on this list, the soup) and he kills two people onscreen in hundred dollar baby. charlie and dee might also kill somebody in that episode. charlie, mac and dee have a weird history of killing kids together. dee also burned a girl alive (her words) so jury's out on if that counts. dennis, on-screen, is more likely to be indirectly responsible for someone dying. he convinces jojo to burn himself alive in ass-kickers, but afaik isn't actually the one who hands him the lighter fluid to do so. he gives the lawyer the go-ahead to pull the plug on pop-pop, but he doesn't actually pull it and pop-pop doesn't die as a result. he locks all the gang's enemies in his burning apartment, but we never hear about anyone dying in that fire- the only character involved we never see alive again is the random guy named bruce who was only in one other episode anyway. he threatens the gang with anthrax, but it turns out to only be powdered sugar.
