i just finished editing the draft for the first time, and i still have way, way too much work ahead of me. i don't know when i'll finish this monstrous chapter, but it won't be soon. that's the news. so, i don't know if i'll upload the chapter this month. i'll try, but quality and meaning are all that matters to me, and i want to do it right.

i feel so insulted to know that someone has stolen the data of millions of fics on ao3, including mine... i'm just a writer who does this for fun, and i don't have much knowledge about filling out all the necessary forms to get my fics off there. another solution is to lock my works (anyway, the damage has already been done), but i don't want that; that goes totally against what i want. so i'm between a rock and a hard place.

i hate all of this, i hate that they think they have the right to steal what i've spent hours and hours writing and editing. it all feels really unfair.

i feel sad too and scared but excited about the future of my stories, the next ones i'll share, the ones i haven't written yet. and i think there's something worse than when a story ends, and that's... when it doesn't end, literally when the author leaves and leaves us without an ending, so... you have to be strong because i plan to give you an ending.

there may be two epilogues... because i feel like there are two chapters that conclude the story, and a reader made me rethink some things. anyway, it'll end with chapter 24.

i finished another edition of chapter nineteen. it's much better now, but i need to adjust some things~

i enjoy editing each chapter immensely, i really do, but chapter nineteen... i'm totally immersed. and the mystery comes to an end: there are five chapters left to finish this story. i felt emotional when i realized, there's not much left to get there. but it's not just that. there are three of them that are extras, so there are really only two chapters left until the real end; the story will close in chapter twenty.

i'm thinking of taking a break between the epilogue and the extras because i have so much editing and writing to do (those chapters are basically blank).
