There's a lot of times in the show where Brennan explains things to people that they obviously know, everyday things, not relating to anthropology or forensics. A lot of people assume she's being rude or condescending but I think it's her trying to be nice because there's a lot of times where people, especially Booth and Angela, explain things to her before she even has to ask. I think she's trying to return the favour. They explain things they know to her so she should do the same.

That man constantly takes a verbal beating from Temperance and always takes it on the chin. Hardly ever any protest, complaint, or anything bad to say about her or how the Jeffersonian deals out the cards. All he wants to do is prove himself and he does WONDERFULLY at it. I truly believe he is one of her best interns and one of the best anthropologist they have.

This may be the opinion of your too woke friend. But I genuinely believe that you cannot get online and say acab, be anti capitalist, say you hate the older generation for how they treat people, be anti establishment, etc. And then clock into your management job and proceed to act like a cop for minimum wage.

And I’m not talking abt getting onto people for being on their phones. I’m talking about when a boomer starts yelling about nonsense and then you get onto your employees for doing nothing wrong. I’m talking about following rules that clearly take advantage of workers, turning a blind eye to your employers illegal practices, etc for the sake of “the rules”.

You cannot preach in your personal life that society has gone too far and doesn’t care about people and how all jobs these days do is take advantage of people. And then go to work and write someone up for being too sick to come into the job that doesn’t even give them health insurance.

I understand we’re all just trying to make it in this evil world and they’re just trying to do their job and not get fired. But I promise you there’s a line between doing your job and being complacent in the mistreatment of employees.

The episode “The Ghost in the Machine” is so heartbreaking and interesting watch. Interesting in that we have this new POV that shows so much new character development for The Team™️. And so heart breaking in that we see how all of these people show real human emotion and deep sadness seeing this child victim. Seeing Brennan cry for him and thinking of her own child. Seeing Booth hold her while crying despite being in the office. Watching them speak to this skull in spite of their strong scientific environment. Them really treating this skull like a real child and being so remorseful of his death.
