the irony of tommy dying in such an insignificant way... oh god it hurts.

tommy thrives off of attention. he lives for the dramatics. he likes monologues and grand gestures. and to be... beaten to death via potato?? that's one of the worst ways he could've gone out. not the lava, something he's know to have issues with from exileinnit. or suffocation, from his claustrophobia. or even any sort of epic battle... he told dream to stop. he told him he had two hearts.

but, dream didn't care because tommy wasn't fun anymore

and sure, maybe he'll bring tommy back. but only after tommy begs for it enough. because that's where he gets his pleasure.

one of the things that drove me insane about techno and tommy's relationship is that they AGREED to the things that they both say was a betrayal (tommy living with techno for resources, techno using tommy to blow up lmanburg)

like they're both just so hardheaded and figured they could convince one another out of it so they rekindled their brotherhood without addressing their impending doom. like YES, tommy used techno for stuff. that's literally why raccooninnit was a thing. and YES, techno did blow up l'manburg. BUT THEY CLEARLY FORMED AN EMOTIONAL BOND BESIDE THAT. i sincerely do not think either of them were "manipulating" each other, i just think that they figured they could change the other and they could not.

remember when tommy was visiting the exile spot for the first time and he wanted techno near? and how he genuinely did want to perform the tasks techno set out for him?? the way techno was willing to fight for him at the community house?? they clearly love and care about each other but they have ideological differences and need therapy.

anyways who's telling techno that tommy's dead in canon lol.

the very last thing tommy ever saw was dream in a claustrophobic cell. the last things he was worried about were tubbo and bringing back wilbur. now he's in the void or whatever the fuck, chatting to vilbur and schlatt, probably scared as hell for tubbo if dream gets out via fucking TECHNOBLADE. tubbo doesn't believe it's happened. even jack manifold doesn't like how this all went down.

none of this feels right. i need a moment.
