Lovingly traces the freckles on her face. A reminder that they are indeed beautiful and not at all a blemish.

Its taken her centuries to fight the urge to flinch when the pock-marks along her face were touched with anything but disdain. her irregular imperfections that peppered her face had been either a source of ridicule or fetishization – but in every case, a burden. so she nuzzles contentedly into the touch, humming appreciatively — thank you for the reminder.
