Statuette of Queen Ahmose-Nefertari
Queen Ahmose-Nefertari was a significant figure in ancient Egyptian history, renowned as the great royal wife and mother of Pharaoh Amenhotep I. The statuette reflects the deep reverence the inhabitants of Deir el-Medina held for her. Inscriptions on the base of the statue feature the names of the dedicators, underscoring the personal devotion expressed through such votive offerings.
