Unfortunate Update On Drew McIntyre Amid WWE Hiatus

Drew McIntyre is still on hiatus.
Drew McIntyre has been missing in action since his Steel Cage Match against Damian Priest at Saturday Night’s Main Event in May. While the WWE Universe waits for the Scottish Warrior’s return, it seems unlikely that he will return soon.
According to WrestleVotes, it may be some time before Drew McIntyre returns to WWE programming. His intense feud with Damian Priest, which has been ongoing since WrestleMania XL, seemingly concluded after their recent Steel Cage Match.
Speaking on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, WrestleVotes stated that there are currently no creative plans lined up for McIntyre. However, they emphasized that this absence is being felt across the product and suggested that once he returns, he should be thrust straight back into the main event scene.
“Nothing on the pipeline recently, which tells me it’s not imminent. When he’s ready, if I was booking, I’d put him right on the top. I think the guy deserves it and you could tell, when he’s not on TV, like as of late, the show is lacking a little bit. So, when he’s ready, you put him right back in that main event scene.”[H/T Sportskeeda]
Does Drew McIntyre Genuinely Dislike CM Punk?
Before his rivalry with Damian Priest caught wind, Drew McIntyre was involved in a personal feud with CM Punk. The two former WWE Champions faced off against each other in three high-profile matches during their recent feud. While McIntyre won the first bout, Punk won the next two, thus ending their on-screen enmity.
In an interview, Drew McIntyre was asked about his feud with CM Punk. The Scottish Warrior addressed the intense rivalry by acknowledging their real-life animosity and admitting the genuine dislike between them. However, McIntyre emphasized that personal issues don’t have to interfere with professional success. He noted that their feud was proof that when two people are great at what they do, personal tension can enhance storytelling.
This is honestly Bullshit. They need to stop fucking around and do something with Drew. They’re wasting his talent at this point. There’s still plenty they can do with him if he’s still not 💯 for the Ring.

Group one is where it’s at.
Love Group 5 too 🍀
how I categorize all wrestlers
group 1: alternative or vaguely alt, queer coded wrestlers. examples: seth rollins, cm punk, rhea ripley, drew mcintyre, damian priest
basically, these wrestlers are very, erm, gay. when they feud with someone, it seems like they're in love with them, like they hatefuck eachother in their freetime. usually, they are loved by alternative folks.
group 2: shiny wrestlers. examples: cody rhodes, la knight, the miz, bianca belair
these wrestlers sometimes aren't literally shiny (though they can be), but they have that presence. la knight, for example, is what I consider a shiny wrestler because he's, well, the megastar.
group 3: love them or hate them (no in-between). examples: jey uso, gunther, liv morgan, john cena
these wrestlers are usually heels, though that's not the case with some, such as jey uso. they could just be annoying on the mic, or they betrayed someone people love, but there's many other reasons. they're also loved by many of the fans, causing a lot of discourse.
group 4: people have to be 50+ to like them. examples: hulk hogan, goldberg, brock lesnar.
usually, these are controversial and/or old wrestlers that people just don't love anymore. hence, why only the older fans like them.
last but not least, group 5.
sheamus.

Nope not the only one.
I miss him so much 😭
I need Daddy Drew 🥺
I can't be the only one who has an instinctual need to shield drew mcintyre from this cruel unjust world

This is exactly what my husband and I think is going to happen. It would be a super twist if Punk does end up helping.
if/when cena wins at night of champions, i hope seth cashes in on him and punk helps him JUST to be petty to cena
and then punk and seth kiss!

My number one fantasy is that they take me to the hospital and keep me there until they’ve run every single test on me and know absolutely everything that’s wrong with me and then they treat and/or cure all those things and then I go home and also my entire stay was free

Happy Anniversary to my favorite Drew McIntyre segment of last year and possibly all time!! In honor of this anniversary, here are 10 of my favorite aspects of this segment
1. The fact that the whole segment is practically done in absolute silence. Only the crowd's cries, boos, and cheers are heard. The only words that get spoken are barely audible except for the "or I'll kill you!!" from Drew and an "do you have any idea what you've just done" from Aldis!!
2. The way that the shutter opened to reveal a bloodied Punk and Drew standing over him. Looking like a serial killer in a horror movie.
3. The way that he carried Punk like he was a hunter carrying a prized deer that he had personally shot and killed through the backstage area, gorilla, and to the main stage.
4. The way that blood was scattered across Drew's hands and arms, even reaching the back of his arms. Making sure that he did a number on him as Punk is visibly bloodied and battered.
5. The way that no one on the roster backstage wanted to stop or intervene. They knew better than to stop him
6. The way Drew stood for a moment in front of the crowd before dropping him as if he weighed nothing and meant nothing to him. As if he was saying "this is the man you call your "second city saint!?" This is the man you call "the best in the world!?" Look at what I did to him"
7. The way that he mocked Punk's "it's clobbering time" with a bloody hand, like he was laughing at him without visibly showing it.
8. The way he slowly walked over to steal the bracelet, with Punk trying to stop him from taking it by trying to close his fingers. It is in the same vein as a serial killer or a hunter taking a trophy after a kill.
9. The way that he stood over Punk after he took the bracelet, admiring his work before being interrupted by Aldis and the refs. He barely moves to Aldis' shove before practically manhandling Aldis with a shove of his own.
10. The way he slowly walks backwards into the darkness, still watching as medics and refs tend to Punk. Almost acting as a reminder that he will always be watching no matter what.
GOD, THERE IS SO MUCH TO ANALYZE, I LOVE THIS SEGMENT. And it is also very fitting that Drew returned to social media today of all days.

Could this be a sign that he is coming back soon and costing Punk at NOC? We will have to wait and see. I have my theories on it if yall are curious.

Ohh I think you’re really on to something 😍
Thank you for your observations 🫶🏻

Drew finally Tweeted something after being radio silent since Saturday Night’s Main Event, which was exactly four weeks ago today!
I’m pretty sure he’s foreshadowing something here 😏
He could’ve easily cropped the image to just show only the sign, but the deeper meaning is Punk and the Belt!
FUCK! I really hope this is setting up for Round 2: Punkintyre! 🥵🪭

“I have to thank him [Punk] for that I guess. One thing I can thank him for. If he’s got that microphone you know he’s bringing his A-game and perhaps the first time we were in the ring together he was still finding his feet being back in WWE. I think he realized – I know he realized, I could see it in his eyes – this isn’t the same Drew and I had his number the first time we were in the ring together, and I stomped his stupid little arm. The second time, I could see it in his eyes, ‘Right, I’m back, I’ve got all my guns loaded,’ and this is the CM Punk of old. And I knew I could either step up to his level or I can drown and I don’t belong at his level. So it was cool to have that opportunity to go back and forth and have people go, ‘Oh my god, this is insane.’ When you thought it couldn’t get anymore insane it kept escalating and escalating. You have to be quick on your feet and you have to know exactly who you are in this industry if you’re going to compete at the top level. So I can say thank you to him for showing in that segment everybody that said well, Drew just went to-to-toe with Punk in his prime, on fire. And Seth also added to that segment in what has become something of a legendary segment. It’s all people talk to me about recently.”

Want to know a sick cruel joke Mother Nature is playing on me?
I’ve been going through Perimenopause for the past 2 years, my periods have been irregular for that long.
Lately I’ve been feeling it coming on but generally I would just spot the whole time based off of my past few cycles.
Well tomorrow is mine and my Husband’s 24th anniversary together, AND GUESS WHO HAS THEIR NORMAL MOTHER FUCKING PERIOD?!??
This is just some absolute fucking bullshit. Don’t suggest just having sex while on it, we’ve done it while I was bleeding before, I’m not a fan and it actually hurts me when it’s been within the first 3 days of starting it.
Deep down I had a feeling this shit was going to happen because generally that’s the kind of luck I have. Only positive is later we’re going out to K-Pot & Korean BBQ for our Dinner so I’m looking forward to stuffing my face at least.
