I re-watched Squid Game season 1 and then watched season 2!

Here are timestamps with no spoilers for anyone with photosensitivity because oh god season 2 can be brutal. The highlighted parts are the ones that are strobes and the rest are smaller things I felt needed mentioning 💜

Behave or you'll get visited by the Christmas Queen

It's now December so I'd like to remind people to please put outdoor Christmas lights on static or slow-changing mode! People with photosensitive Epilepsy and photosensitivity will thank you 💜 I would like to be able to leave the house occasionally this month.

Bonus if you work in a shop and can do this, including cafes. Extra bonus if you notice them having flashing christmas lights and ask them to change the mode for other people. Extra Extra bonus if you work for a city council and can make the city christmas lights not flash.

Extra Extra Extra bonus if we can just ban those stalls that sell those strobing sticks and fans to kids in the middle of the street.

It's time again!!! IT'S EPILEPSY AWARENESS MONTH!!

I've updated it a bit and added a section on non-epileptic seizures and in the content creator and game dev section, I made it clear that this also helps non-epileptic people with photosensitivity too!

Happy Disability Pride Month!!

It's that time of year again where I share the Epilepsy presentation I made last year!!

There's information on many types of seizures, first aid and how to make content more accessible if you are a content creator or game dev!

Spreading awareness is super important and it does make an impact! I've managed to help make 2 games safer even if it's only a little bit.

This is all from my own personal experience and information from a year ago, if there are any updates that need to be made or information that would be helpful from your own experiences, feel free to let me know!!

Also reminder do NOT use the #Epilepsy tag as a warning for flashing lights. All you're doing is sending those flashing gifs or videos straight to Epileptic people who want to look at that tag to find other people with Epilepsy!
