This Chinese New Year is so powerful because it is the time to set the intention, start new things. Start to write down what you want to achieve, be very clear what you wish for though.

Today is the New Moon and it is also the New Year in the Chinese Calendar. This New moon is so powerful because you can start a new project. Use the energy for renewal, joy and to express their ideas freely. So, really reflect on where do you want to bring more joy and what do you want to renew in your life.

What parts in your life need that spark again? What are the things in your life you need to let go? Because you want to make space for new things you want to introduce in your life. 2019 is all about a new light and new life. This is a very powerful opportunity to reflect on the year you want it to be.

Write down clearly what you want to achieve. Take this time until 14th February and then start e.g. the new project. May it be clearing out any clutter, changing the paint colour in the one room you desire, learn a new language, buy a new pair of shoes. It is time to be you! What kind of human you really want to be and step into these shoes and leave the old you behind! Make sure you get rid of any old believes and be your better self.

It is a beautiful new cycle of a new beginning and make it your best year you ever had.

The Year of the Earth Pig is going to be positive. In the aspects of money, it is going to be a really good year to make money and to invest. It is also going to be a year full of joy and friendship. Discover Nature in a new perspective.

I looks like that went high up on a plane✈️. Instead we went on a 45 minute walk in our Park 🌳 (just around the corner 😉) . It's amazing what you can discover when you are out and about. I was especially fascinated by the tiny moss on a stone bridge.

Nature is its own world and should be respected accordingly. Nature will always finds it way.

How amazing was this Grand Opening of the new Rituals Flagship Store on Grafton Street this morning.

I am over the moon, because I had the honour to meet the CEO, Raymond Cloosterman.

Personally, I am a huge fan of the brand for at least 10 years. All because my flatmate, she introduced me to this brand in which I fell in love immediately. Naturally I have told my Mum, Aunt and Cousin about RITUALS and everyone of us has their own favourite.

So, believe me or not, but I can tell from the scent, that people have used the RITUALS products. One day at my Yoga class I asked a girl gently if she used a RITUALS product. And she was so surprised. She looked at me if I have been with her in the bathroom. Personally I didn't use the product, but I remembered the scent immediately. The brand is so unique I honestly can smell the brand when people pass me on the street.

Another thing I remember is when the Men Body Lotion was not available anymore. Yes, that scent was lovely and I used it even as a Woman. Why not?! One day I even called their Customer Services and they confirmed that the lotion was not available anymore. Luckily, it's back again.

My absolute favourite products are the Cherry Blossoms Body Lotion, Samurai Ice Shower Gel and Namasté Glow Mask.

A lovely, balanced and open entrance here at Rituals in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Ireland.

I wonder if they used the ancient Chinese philosophy, Feng Shui, here... I am very happy that the company has finally landed here on the Island and they have even the high quality fabrics of Soulwear.

Extremely stunning is this crystal ceiling lamp (light represents the fire element) at the Citywest Hotel settled in a calm (earth element) environment with lots of nature around (wood element). This lamp has a lovely reflection and is therefore represented by the metal element. Therefore the earthy walls are perfect for this are and make it a Feng Shui success.

Besides this lamp must be the grandmother of the crystal pendant lamp at my Hallway room set at the upcoming Ideal Home Show. But this is not the only stunning interior accessories.

"Hi Katharina, Thank you very much for helping us with our family room project. Before we started working with Katharina we had a stark, impersonal meeting room in which to have consultations with clients. We realised we needed a child-friendly room where clients would feel at ease, particularly if they had their children with them. However, we needed guidance and advice as to what we should do. We wanted it to also be suitable for children with sensory needs. We were so delighted when Katharina answered our request for help and then decided to work with us and help us to achieve our new 'Soft Room'. We also asked her to come up with a colour scheme for our hallways and alternate meeting room. Katharina consulted with us to find out what we wanted. We had a general outline but really didn't know where to start. Katharina took notes and photos and came back to us with a very comprehensive portfolio of alternatives in just a few days. We were spoiled for choice. Eventually, we settled for one of her suggested colour schemes. Katharina was there throughout the process and came with me to the paint shop to ensure we got the correct materials. As the painting work began Katharina ensured that the plan was adhered to and the work was carried out correctly. As the new Soft Room was finished everyone was so impressed when they saw it. It was a great transformation. Katharina advised on finishing touches including wall art and a gave us a beautiful gift of a child's height measuring chart with cartoon stickers for the wall. We've had a lot of compliments from people coming to the building and very positive feedback about the colour scheme particularly. The Soft Room is delightful and people always smile when they see it. They find it relaxing and cheerful and while suitable for children, it functions very well for meetings too. While hallways and stair areas look great the Soft Room is a particular joy to have. I would be delighted to have Katharina work with us again. She listened to our requirements, made great and accurate suggestions and was very supportive of the project." We have been visiting Wexford all day yesterday. That was a typical rainy ☔ day and unusual misty Summer Tour. So the original idea was to see and take lovely pictures at the Lavender Fields. Due to the bad weather we decided to see the Hook Lighthouse instead and first. There will be another time to do the Lavender Fields I am pretty sure. As it was Summer it did not feel cold on my feet in case you were wondering about it 😂 Did you know that the lighthouse was probably the first in the world? Built in 1169 with four floors and 115 stairs! Since March 1996 the Hook Lighthouse was improved to an automatic system watched by the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company. Bold colours can really give the coloursplash to a room which was needed here. This red velvet pouf really creates an energetic atmosphere, a so called kick for the day. Which is called yang in Feng Shui. Where the rest of the room is more calming, yin. Honestly I would love to use this space myself as a dressing table area. Where you might not even need make up to wake up 😉 The colour speaks for itself.

Mirrors can be used to EXPAND a space and they create more LIGHT in a space. PLACING a mirror in a way that reflects a beautiful view from the garden will draw GOOD FENG SHUI energy into your space. Choose your Mirrors' place carefully! They are REFLECTING decorations. So be careful what reflects in it. Whether CLUTTER, CHAOS or a LOVELY LIVING ROOM. Remember the reflextion DOUBLES EVERY TIME! And means double trouble if you don't take care of the reflective surroundings. NEVER EVER buy mirrors they have a 'broken' design or are 'separated'. This confuses the energy and spreads uncontrollably. Besides, never hang mirrors opposite of the front door, as it creates an immediate outflow of the QI energy that has only just entered the home. REMEDY if you have already installed such a mirror, then place something in between the mirror wall and the door so that you force the QI to linger and be diverted. Such as a plant or sideboard.
