And especially because I'm his mother, I know he's definitely going to try to get away with it once he's older. I went through a rebellious phase where I snuck out after curfew and then had to attempt to sneak back in without being caught. I like to think that I'll be able to read right through him and know if he'd be up to something, but who knows since it's so far in the future at this point. Oh don't you worry, he adores his auntie Taylor. Nope, not spilling my secrets just so you can go and blab them to my kid to get in his good graces. I'm taking this one to the grave.

Sneaking out of the house seems like a right of passage for any teenager. Of course I would - I gotta be on the little guys side. Make sure that I'm in his good books and all that. Where's the secret hiding spot?

Maybe you guys can come out to see a show once tour kicks off. We'll play it by ear and see how our schedules line up and let fate take over. I'm good, I promise. But it's sweet you're concerned about my well being and I love you for it. I'm having my lazy girl time where I just rot on the couch, binge watch some TV, or just aimlessly scroll on my phone. It's therapeutic to have some downtime of just doing nothing when possible.

Just because I can't think of them at this very moment doesn't mean they don't exist! That is one perk about being in a band. Especially one that you've been apart of for so long. I mean, looking back you guys were just babies when you started out. Speaking of her liking the ring, what was her reaction to the ring itself? I imagine you did an excellent job picking it out for her.

If you can't think of any then I don't think that there's any out there. Being in a band is pretty epic cause you get to create music with your best friends - and you can't go wrong there. Even though you can have some fights a little bit, that's fine. I'd just get another ring - and hope she liked it just as much. Problem solved.

I'll be sure to pencil in a tour stop in Baltimore, just for you next time. I was going to say, I do have some Florida shows if you wanted to soak up the sun in the sunshine state. Even Taylor Swift said Florida is one hell of a drug. There's still time but I just know it's going to fly by and it will be opening night before I know it.

See, next tour you should just make sure to have more show's on the east coast, make it more convenient to everyone who lives there. This time I'll live through and make the best of it. Maybe soaking in some west coast sun is gonna do me good, was just down in Florida for a few days and the sun was great, though the west coast is potenially less humid and therefore much less terrible on my hair. Ah, it's still time until the start then!

I've thought about adopting another pup. But I think I'm going to wait another year or so until my son is a tad bit older. Plus I'm about to head out on tour soon, so anytime soon would be the worst time to adopt a pup anyway. I literally can't wait for the short film. Is it going to make me ugly cry?

It's been so many years ago and I was just a little girl, but yes. Crazy thinking about where I've come. Aw, it's so rough losing a pet, so all the dog love for you! I promise they all just like to cuddle so you're most welcome to soak in all of that. I'm so excited to be putting this out there, 'specially with the short film too. That's exciting!

Oh I know it's going to happen one of these days. I just keep hoping it won't be until he's a teenager and he's trying to outsmart me by sneaking out of the house or something like that. You wouldn't dare, Swift. Good thing I didn't tell you about my other secret hiding spot. Looks like I'll just have to start hiding everything there from now on, since no one knows about that one but me.

Don't worry - he's going to outsmart you. I'm pretty sure that's in the description of a child. Hopefully he doesn't learn about your little tricks there. Hopefully his coolest aunt doesn't give him lil tips and everything. That would be a real shame.

I'm glad it's in the best way. Because like you said, you don't need a repeat. Plus you deserve nothing but happiness, babe. I haven't and I'm excited to meet the man that's been making my girl so happy. I'm so fucking ready. Rehearsals have been really making me pumped up and the feeling is sinking in that I'm finally so close to getting back out there and doing my thing.

The best way, of course. Would be wild if I said that it wasn't a good way. Already been married to one person that I didn't want to be so I'm not repeating that. You haven't met him? Well, shit. That's my bad. I'm sure that I'll be able to make it to at least one show. You ready to hear everyone singing back to you?

I'm sorry that the party is over here on the west coast, dude. Even though I'll always be an easy coast girl from Jersey to my core. May 14th is the LA show, so you have plenty of time to plan your trip and get it all figured out. It doesn't kick off til May, so I have a little more downtime and rehearsal time until we kick off.

Ah, damn it. Just gotta be living at the end of the damn world here. That's alright, I'll fly cross country so I don't miss your show. When's the LA one? I gotta make sure I can squeeze in a visit with some friends while I'm on the west coast then too. So when's that tour of yours starting? Is it soon or do you have a couple weeks left to prepare?

There are some nepo babies that people love. I can't think of any off the top of my head at the moment, but they exist! Plus he could always by a cool stage name or he could be in a band. Might give him the chance to fly under the radar a bit before he makes it big and people start to realize he's my son. That is the silver lining because otherwise, that would have been a tragic engagement story to tell.

People hate nepo babies - do you think that's wise? No one loves their stories. Hey... you're right on that one but I don't know how I feel about that one. At least I didn't lose the ring.

You better come out to see me! Let me know what show you're looking at coming to and I'll hook you up with the VIP experience. As much as I love touring, I'm not gonna lie but I do have moments where I miss my own bed and all the comforts of home. But it just makes it sweeter once it's finally time to head back home. If I can work it into my schedule, I'll try to make it out to one of your shows before my own tour starts up.

i'll have to make sure that when your tour comes around that i get out and see you. always put on a great show, and then i should have down time from my own tour. i can imagine, touring is always a great time. i love it, every moment of it. even the crappy parts like getting sick, and being away from my dog when there isn't someone to bring him with me on the tour bus. i've been good, a lot better. was sick for a bit but you know, i'm doing a lot better. popped over to orlando to see a friend for a bit and now i'm back on the tour life.

I'd be pretty content if I ended up in a situation where I was stuck with you for life. He gets his smarts from me, I just have to make sure he doesn't learn how to outsmart me one of these days. The best snacks are the Reese's cups and ice cream sandwiches. I have a spot in the back of the freezer that he can't reach. I put a bag of frozen vegetables in front to hide it. I know he won't move it or pick it up since he's not very fond of certain vegetables.

Being stuck with you for life doesn't sound half bad. I'm glad that you're one of my best friends, too. Sounds like you're really living the life there - Ender is smart. Wear you down with the begging and pleading. I do support his endeavors there. What do you consider the best snacks?

Theater is just such a staple of show business and it's smart for anyone in the industry to dip their toe into that world to experience it. That's insane that you were only ten years old in that picture. Now look at you and how far you've come. Little Ari would think you're the absolute coolest and I know she's so proud of you. Psh, bring on all the big dogs. I miss my pittie that I lost a few years ago, so the more big dogs that want to lay in my lap and attack me with kisses, the better. Brighter days sure are ahead and I for one cannot wait!

I think for a lot of things in this business it's helpful to have been in touch with anything theater. Oh I was such a baby back then, I think I was ten? So many years ago, but yes, made little Ari really proud with this. It's an absolute dream come true. Holy shit, I did. I'm still blown away by that recognition. So incredibly cool. I can just picture you in a pile of my dogs, though be warned - there's a few really big ones in the pack that have no idea of their size really. I tried so hard not to spoil anything of it, but it wasn't easy. So happy it's announced now that it'll be out there. Brighter days are ahead, girl!
