I didn't post normally for a few days. I hit a lil toe, get some melancholy & here were a Civil war in my country 😅
so! we're going to our countryside! and I'm going to do a lot of exercises: I want to running, I want to do yoga outside and (if we're bought a bike) ride a bike.
also my friend and I want to do some social detox. maybe, that's my last post on the week

I'm crying so hard. not because of it's hurts so bad just because of that I want to have a lot of activities and now I can't.

I'm still looking for my aesthetic! huh isn't it too sweet?...
to be honest, I really in love with skeletons! I have a lot of pics of them in my pinterest. I feel for them like a limitlessness of our personality. It's never about death or satanism. It's about immortality of the souls...

guide to get organized and create habits in your life
maybe you think that with your current pace of life, all those things you have to do in the day, it is impossible to create a healthier lifestyle, that's only for people who have money or a lot of free time and it is not so, the key is in the organization and planning of your days, but more importantly: that you really want to level up.
steps to start.
eliminate your beliefs, "it's not possible", "it's not a realistic lifestyle", "it's not possible", or "it's not a realistic lifestyle". if you really want to improve there are no excuses, the only limits are created by you.
what are your goals? what do you want to achieve with all this? the most important thing is to have a healthy lifestyle, but besides that, it may bring you closer to future goals or become your best version to achieve what you want, whatever it is, with bad habits you can not succeed.
plan your days and get organized, you don't need much for this, you can get a weekly planner or write the night before in a to-do list what you have to do the next day, create a routine from that, incorporate into your days those new habits, you always have 30 minutes or 1 hour for exercise, for example, everything is a matter of organizing yourself, but remove the thought of "i don't have time".
create your own lifestyle, you can be inspired by what you see in social media but may not fit you or what you want to achieve, it is easier than it seems, you just have to be clear about what you would like and from there start with new habits or activities, just think: what would make the best version of myself?
start now, do not wait for tomorrow, start organizing how your day will be tomorrow, what things would you like to try, start with 5 minutes of yoga? read that book that you have postponed for a long time? do it and little by little create a routine. for example, you can start by going for a walk for 30 minutes 3 days a week, reading a book at least 15 minutes before bedtime, changing the convenience food for a healthier option and so with everything.
and enjoy the process, not the result, the important thing is to be happy with our life and lead a healthy pace, not the result we want to get, that will come but meanwhile, it is important to enjoy the small improvements that we are incorporating in our day to day.
small habits that you should incorporate into your new lifestyle.
drink plenty of water during the day
create good sleep schedules (you don't have to get up early, but get enough sleep to have energy the next day)
replace junk food for healthier options.
do any kind of exercise every day.
read things that nourish your mind.
limited time on social media, only consume that which is positive.
stop talking bad about others and yourself.
be aware of your health and self-worth.
meditate before waking up and before sleeping.
write a diary or keep a record of your days, so you can also motivate yourself and see your progress.
whatever makes you happy and is beneficial to you.
having a healthy lifestyle always has to be beneficial for you, you don't have to follow to the letter other people's routines or my recommendations, you don't have to force yourself to do things you don't like, just find what you enjoy and it will benefit you in the future, but always focus on you and what is best for you 🤍

French Podcast Recommendations
The following list contains podcasts in French that I, a native French speaker, listen to. So if you're a beginner in French, those might be too hard for you !
The rest of the post will be in French !
1) Chasseurs de Sciences : Chaque épisode dure une dizaine de minutes et porte sur des scientifiques/personnalités "méconnu(e)s". (Il y a plein d'épisodes sur des femmes qui ont eu un impact énorme sur leur discipline)
Super intéressant !
Mes épisodes préférés : Henrietta Lacks, morte il y a 70ans..et toujours vivante ; Ada Lovelace, autrice du premier programme informatique..en 1843 ; Rosalind Franklin, une femme à la conquête de l'ADN ; Nelly Bly, 10 jours dans un asile psychiatrique et 72 jours autour du monde ;
2) Vénus s'épilait-elle la chatte ?
C'est un podcast sur l'histoire de l'art et le féminisme !
Les épisodes sur Picasso et Frida Kahlo sont à écouter absolument ! Frida Kahlo, au delà du mythe ; Picasso, séparer l'homme de l'artiste ;
3) Thinkerview :

OOOOOH I WANT TO TRY IT WITH FRENCH!!
Language Blog Challenge: 20 weeks of challenges.
I felt like things were quiet here and I hadn’t seen any good posts about language challenges recently. Here is a list of 20 language challenges (i.e. for 20 weeks), but feel free to skip over some or do more than 1 per week.
Share your progress if you do any of these!
1. Introduce yourself in your target language and explain why you are studying this language.
2. Write a short text in your target language about any topic you like. Don’t look up words or check your grammar! You’ll come back to this text later.
3. Find a news article in your target language and learn/check the meaning of 10 new words from the article.
4. Find out about one new grammar rule or phrase that you’ve been confused by …. bonus points if it is something complex and you ask for help from a native speaker/another learner on tumblr (or elsewhere).
5. Find one nice song in your target language. Learn at least 5 new words from the song.
6. Find a common phrase in your target language that is new to you. Make sure it something you could use in every day life (something like: no problem / alls well that ends well / not the end of the world / at the end of the day / … etc.)
7. Watch one episode of a tv show in your target language. Check the meaning of 5 new words. Make sure to give the sentence/context the word was used in.
8. Have a chat with a native speaker (or another person studying your target language) on italki / Hellotalk/ Tumblr/ Reddit or discord. Bonus points if you manage to find someone interested in learning your native language.
9. Find a new youtube channel in your target language. Watch at least one video and learn 5 new words.
10. Learn a new verb in your target language, and invent three new sentences with the verb. Bonus points if the verb you choose has multiple meanings in your target language!
11. List two words you commonly confuse in your target language (example post). Make sure you explain the difference between the words as you understand it now.
12. Change your phone or computers settings to your target language for a few days. Learn at least 5 new computer/phone related words.
13. Find a video (or article) in which a non-native speaker of your target language uses your target language. Bonus points if you find someone at your level (or just above to give you motivation!)
14. Make a vocabulary list in your native language and target language (or whichever two languages you wish, as long as your target language is one of them!). Some suggested topics: holidays, kitchen items, adjectives to describe people, easy verbs, advanced verbs, house items, workplace, ….
15. List your 5 fav. language blogs. (Give them a shout out!) Bonus points if they study the same language as you! Bonus points if they don’t, but give you motivation anyway!
16. Learn how to “express doubt” in your target language (example post). If you already know how to do this, list the best phrases/ways to “expressing doubt” in your target language.
17. Do at least one round of “speakingin20″ (I guess we are “speakingin21″ now), where you record yourself speaking in your target language, see challenge here.
18. Read back over your text from week 2. See if you can pick up on any grammar or spelling mistakes without looking anything up!
19. Find an e-book in your target language and in English (or another language you speak). Classic books are often available for free. Read chapter one first in your own language and then in your target language and see how much you understand. (Or find a book you’ve already read in your own language and read it in your target language).
20. Make (or find) a new language challenge for yourself, be sure to share it with others!

Poésie mercredi#7
"Le Chemin de la Vie" by Simone de Beauvoir
Le chemin de la vie est long et tortueux Parfois il est doux, parfois il est dur On rencontre des gens, on en perd d'autres On apprend des choses, on oublie des souvenirs Mais au bout du chemin, il y a la paix.
Every Wednesday, I share French poetry here on my blog.

Adulting advice: if you think you can’t do a thing because you tried it as a child or teenager and you sucked really badly: try it again.
You may not notice it, but as an adult you continue gaining motor skills, insight, problem solving skills and above all patience and resilience in the face of failure. Also puberty can be a nightmare. For some of us it’s just harder to do things when we’re full of insecurities, low impulse control and focus, heightened emotions, etc. A thing that was hard for 15 year old you might not be hard for 25 or 35 or 45 years old you.
I thought I was the absolute worst at sowing because I tried to learn it in my teenage years and failed spectacularly at the most basic tasks. Turns out I just didn’t have the patience and focus for it yet. I tried it again recently and it didn’t take long at all to learn how to make my own clothes. (And oh my, being able to make any outfit I want in any fabric is a queer superpower.)
It really sucks that we’re told quite early in life what our talents are and we end up assuming that there are some things we’re just not good at, when the truth is that learning as an adult is just completely different from learning as a child.

recently my friend and I had discuss about new apple vision pro. we're watched together WWC last Monday and was really shocked.
both of us think that it's begging of the end. the worldwide corporations trying to separate people. it's look like a perfect solution for asocial human beings, that's can be one of the serious reasons to suicide for people who can't coping with their lives. I'm very scared about that. it's seems to be so gloomy. my friend and I hope that's people still want to spending time together offline and being real for each other.

Language Study Methods I've Been Using
(When I don't want to look at my textbooks)
I haven't wanted to work out of my textbooks the past couple of weeks (and I've wanted to do more natural practice that isn't generic textbook-speak), so here are the main 3 methods I've been using to give myself better practice than just using a workbook or a textbook!
If anybody decides to try any of this because of this post, let me know how you like them! I'm working in Japanese for all of these, so occasionally parts of my description are specific to working in Japanese, but of course you could do these in any language.
Audio Transcription: This one has by far been my favorite activity recently! Since I like video games, I choose a game I like to do this, but anything with speaking lines in it (anime, dramas, movies, plays, etc.) works well! I just pull up a voice line that I can repeat a few times (I've been using Project Sekai dialogue- specifically tapping on them on the character rank screens so I can't see the translated dialogue pop up), and play the audio a few times as I write down what I hear in hiragana and katakana (no kanji). After I've gotten the entire line transcribed based on what I hear, I go back through it with the English translation the game gives for the line pulled up and write the kanji for words and correct words that I can tell are wrong. I do my best to get it as completed and correct as possible just using my own knowledge and the English translation before doing a final check by pulling up the original written Japanese dialogue to see how I did. It's been incredibly fun and a huge confidence booster for me, as it's shown me my listening comprehension is better than I thought!
Journaling: I mentioned in a small update post that I wrote myself a python code that generated Japanese writing prompts with grammar points and vocab to use based on Genki 1 and 2, and I've been using it regularly to give me prompts! It generates three grammar points, and I try to incorporate all three grammar points into my journal entry somewhere as I talk about my day and what's on my mind. Sometimes I'll run the generator a couple of times to get a better suggestion that works better with things I know I want to write about, and it's been really effective in getting me to use a variety of grammar points instead of just using the ones I remember the best! I feel more confident producing things that use more complicated grammar structures the more I use them, so having this generate grammars that I skip or forget that I've learned helps me get more confident in more things! It's nice getting to write a little bit every day, too.
Looking at TL Websites: This is my lower-pressure version of reading books, haha. I find a Japan-only game or audio drama or something (or, if I can access it, view the Japanese website for a game I've played or can play) and just... Read it! I usually do this while in a call with my partner to give myself some pressure to prove my comprehension by translating it or roughly explaining what it says to my partner as I go. This one is nice because it leads to finding cool stuff! I've found some cool series/games/etc. that were only released in Japan that I can use to practice comprehension and practice translating so I can get my partner involved in it too. Searching for kanji can be difficult with this one sometimes, since a decent amount of the time the kanji I need to search is an image and not text that I can copy, so if it's difficult to recognize the radicals or how I'd write it... Difficult. But overall it's still fun! It's the slowest method of the three I've been using, so I have to be in the mood for searching for kanji, haha.
If you're sick of a textbook, I'd definitely recommend trying one of these out! There are also a lot of other methods thrown around across langblr and studyblr, so there's plenty of exploration you can do if you're sick of just practicing with stiff textbook exercises. Happy learning!
