"Yuri!" Otabek ran towards his best friend at the airport. "I am so sorry, I tried to get a flight for yesterday but they were all booked." he pulled a box out of his luggage that had a bow on it. "Happy birthday." inside would be a leopard print tshirt and headphones in white tiger print.

{ 🐯 } – Yuri stared at Otabek and then flicked his gaze to the box, and then back to Otabek. The box was a little crushed in the corners, but the wrapping and the bow looked like it’d been smoothed out to the best of the giver’s ability. Not that the blonde cared about how it looked on the outside. He was surprised that Otabek remembered his birthday, since Yuri had gone out of his way not to really bring it up so the other wouldn’t feel obligated to get him something.

Though, on the other hand, with people like Viktor and Yuuri, he couldn’t shut up about the fact that it was his birthday.

He’d known of course that Otabek was coming today, but, he was flustered by the gift that had been placed in his hands. Yuri treated it as gently as possible, not wanting to disturb what was inside. “…Thank you, Otabek.” He said sheepishly, a blush creeping up to his ears as he threw his arms around the other. “Who cares if you’re late? You’re here for me, aren’t you?” The Russian says, pulling away and giving a bright grin to the other.

‘’…Some lady at the supermarket caught sight of my ring and asked me where my ‘wife’ was. I’ve never felt so awkward and publicly embarrassed before.’’ In the end he ignored her and didn’t even bother to answer her question.

Almost forgot that it was the angsty tigers birthday, luckily a lot of the people I follow live a few time zones ahead of me so I got a nice heads up.
