August chuckled a little bit, rocking on his foot as he came up with a better response.

"Talking about it makes people sad. And then I have to comfort you and promise that I'm okay, that it wasn't a big deal, and you'll have a bunch of questions. Besides, being kidnapped once upon a time isn't exactly great Stranger conversation." August shrugged. "Surely talking about beer that you like or what we do for money is a more comfortable place to start?"

"Most people are only capable of seeing through their own eyes - for many reasons; chief amongst those being that most people need to prioritise their own view of the world to survive." Marcus pointed out.

His eyebrows remained raised to prove the point that his question was far from being answered by that statement. "I wouldn't have bothered asking if I wasn't interested. Or is there another reason you don't want to share?"

"I'm sure you were doing something important before little old me came up and interrupted." August took the other's hand, getting himself up and situated on his feet. "What was it? What were you doing today?"

"Rosie can for sure go with us" he nodded as he got up holding his hand out to thelp August up. "Im never too busy for you. Besides I need a walk to wind down"

"Good. I really don't mind going for a walk. Seems like a good way to put all this behind us - literally," He joked, just a small pun to try and get it over with. "Can Rosie come with? And you're really not too busy?"

"I promise to stop worrying. But we dont have to go for a walk if you dont want to" Kye responded. He felt like August was just going on the walk to make him feel better. And, not that he actually wanted to take a walk.

"Oh, me neither," Theo grinned. Though, that was just a portion of it, since he avoided cars like the plague, whether they were occupied by strangers or not. "Oh. No worries at all. Let me get you a damp cool cloth and you can call who ever you want to pick you up, if you want someone to come at all."

"No... I don't really go in cars with strangers." He was certain he could walk- until he sat up and the world rapidly turned upside down. A soft gasp of alarm escaped him before he let himself fall back onto the couch and pressed his hands over his face. "I can't get sick..." Evidently, that was incorrect. "A-are you sure you don't mind? I can- I'll leave as soon as I can."

"I dont get a lot of customers but, I'm doing it because of the plants. I really love flowers. I need to start dressing in normal clothing that humans wear. My clothes are a little bit out there."

"Yeah. She hasn't misbehaved since I got her, so we're pretty proud." August said of her. She sat gingerly, waiting to be sniffed out; he had told her to be on her best behavior before they came in, so her prim and proper Sit was perfect as she waited. "Your dog probably had some of the best training around, of course."

"I had some studies I was supposed to present, regarding soil analysis for the Green Initiative? Once I get that handed off, I'm sure to be out of your hair..."

"I can understand why." The prince petted the top of her head and gazed up at the man in front of him. David was busy sniffing her but staying close to his side. He was supposed to be his emotional support animal, but sometimes he found the beagle got nervous himself. Ironic.

"You're welcome. Don't think anything by it." It was rare for him to see visitors, he normally stayed away when the tours happened. The side of the palace the other wandered to was private. If he was caught he would have been thrown out if he didn't interject.

Marcus sighed softly. "Mostly humans like to think they're dangerous put hand them a knife or a gun and - unless their lives are directly in danger - they chicken out of using them." He muttered before looking over at August properly. "Do people really play laser tag? Can't we just get scotch or something instead?"

"Rosie's very good at making bad things better," August had to admit - even though he would never tell his sister that she was right to make him get a dog. He hugged the pup again before righting himself back on his feet, wiping under his eyes. Everything was fine. Absolutely fine. At least Kye was pushing a walk rather than a doctor. "Sure. We can walk now, if you want. If you promise to stop worrying!"

"you are very welcome" Kye said Ae simply nodded taking up his spot in the corner pulling out his phone, though he was aware of everyting going on in the room.

"Im glad its better now. I worry about you often" kye admitted agian. "So do you want to go on the walk now or wait?"
