Jeonghan reached into Damien’s mind slowly as he rested against him, he knew that Damien couldn’t feel warmth but he also knew that he could create the sensation and so he was trying to do that from time to time. He did it without saying, trying to create the feeling of warmth in the demon’s mind, and he smiled as Damien’s arm wrapped around his middle. He felt safe, secure, Damien always made him feel those things.

“Mm!” he hummed in agreement, smiling up at his fiance. 

Damien could feel Jeonghan reaching into his mind but he wasn’t at all afraid. There was a lot of strength in his fiance and a lot that he could do to harm others but Damien knew that the younger wasn’t the type who would ever abuse his gift. Jeonghan was sweet and gentle and the demon trusted him completely to alter his mind and body in anyway that he wished and moments later when he felt a warmth running through him, he was left smiling knowing why Jeonghan had reached into his mind.

“Thank you.” He whispered softly while his fingers gently stroked along the younger’s side, his other hand still holding the glass and he brought it closer to his lips. “After three. One, two, three.” He counted slowly and was soon taking a big sip of the drink.

“You heard her”, Penguin stated to a waiter. His tone had been tender when speaking to Sungmin but it changed bossy and strict in a moment when talking to the employee. Waiter nodded quickly and took quick steps away. Penguin had his reputation and it had its ups and downs. Up for the time being was the fact he knew they would get fast service and their food would be offered fast, probably even before some others who had come before them. And just like that, it didn’t take long before man came back and poured wine in exquisite pair of glasses before placing the bottle to their table and walked away once again letting them take their time with menus.

‘She’s so beautiful’, Penguin thought as he let his eyes admire Sungmin behind his menu for a while. She took his breath away. Why his heart started to beat faster when he saw her pretty face? They had just met. He wished to make conversation but decided to let her think about menu’s choices in peace and he pretended to be doing the same thing.

His sudden change in tone had the fighter’s brow arching as she glanced back and forth between Penguin and the waiter. Before they had left she had seen how he had acted around some of his staff and now with staff of other establishments but he spoke so differently to her. While she enjoyed his company she was growing steadily more suspicious over what his intentions towards her were. He spoke differently to her, acted differently around her and within five minutes of speaking to one another he had asked her to go somewhere with him. She wanted to be able to relax and just enjoy the evening but part of her felt like maybe this was all one giant joke at her expense.

She said nothing about how she was feeling though and instead turned her attention back to the menu once the waiter had gone. No, she had to stop overthinking every little thing and let go enough to enjoy a spontaneous night out. “I think I might go for the ham and mushroom.” She nodded while closing the menu in front of her before she reached to grab the stem of the wine glass. “What are you getting?”

Doing as he was told Jihoon sat down, knowing that if he didn’t his legs would give out and make him anyway. He felt like he could pass out, genuinely pass out, but he was going to refuse to let that happen until the very last moment. He didn’t know what this man was up to, what he was trying to do, but food was food and Jihoon needed food so badly.

As the stranger, somewhat stranger as they had met before, marched off Jihoon reached up to rub at his eyes with the heel of his hand. He hadn’t been on the bridge to gain attention, that was the last thing he had wanted, he had been there because life was getting to him more than ever. Would he have actually jumped?…who knew…but he was fragile without a doubt. Cold, tired, starving and just so completely done. He had been dumped off like he was nothing too many times, he knew that he was nothing.

Kwangseok could remember when he had been younger how much he wished to be like the other kids and allowed things like burgers but his parents would never let him anywhere near junk food. They had a prodigy child that they wanted to make even sharper and so they always kept an eye on everything that he ate. His mother had researched countless articles and studies to find the perfect brain foods for her son and now he had some freedom he had found that the palate he now had would more than likely reject anything remotely unhealthy.

He couldn’t help but think it a shame as he watched the server bring the food to rest down on the tray along with two polystyrene cups of piping hot coffee but now wasn’t the time to dwell on it. The hacker just handed over the money and after slipping his wallet back into his pocket he was grabbing the tray and carrying it over to the table with the shorter man. 

“Here. Eat up.” He sounded emotionless but it was nothing personal against Jihoon. He just sounded like that with everybody he knew including the few friends that he had, though he wasn’t really close to anybody.

💔 What was my muse’s first heartbreak? 

The first thing in his mind was a girl he had a huge thing for during high school but it’s not really a correct or acceptable answer since all memories before the age of 18 are false. The first true heartbreak he had was during his first serious relationship. He was the first person that he had ever loved but it wasn’t the healthiest of relationships. There were a lot of arguments, upsets and painful events so in the end Ezra called off the engagement. The heartbreak began weeks before he ended the relationship knowing he had to do it and it wasn’t something he just got over the second their relationship ended. It took some time for him to come to terms with everything.

💘 What are the ways my muse says ‘I love you’ without actually saying it?

While he does sound heartless, cold and he doesn’t speak much he does still care about friends even if he really doesn’t want to. It’ll be small things like reminding someone they need a jacket or making sure that they’ve eaten that day which show he care but as for romantic love that is an answer I myself aren’t yet aware of. He’s never felt romantic love for anybody yet so only time will tell how he says it if he ever falls for anyone.

Things that aren’t cliched or something traditional (eg not something like going to a cinema or for dinner) She would love something unique and it doesn’t have to cost much (it doesn’t even need to cost a thing really) Just knowing someone put some thought into what they’re doing and where they’re going would mean a lot to her. Maybe something like a picnic or laser tag would be something she’d love.
