NGL I think it’s hilarious how angry Europeans (and specifically Italians) get when Italian Americans call themselves Italian. A guy can be 100% ethnically Italian, have an Italian name, speak the language, uphold Italian cultural practices and they’ll argue with him if he calls himself Italian. And it’s kind of the opposite of how Irish people treat Irish Americans. They’re like “JFK was one of us. Obama? Also one of us.”

there is nothing wrong with expanding dina and ellie’s story i’m just worried because they have only 3 episodes left. if they wanted to expand their story, expand other characters, they should have made it ten episodes season.

ellie snaps at dina because she’s traumatised and angry—she does not think through what she says. at the end of the day, she wants to keep dina save she just words it completely wrong. i understand putting in some light hearted moments before ellie loses herself but she’s already too deep by the time they get to the theatre. she loses herself slowly through hillcrest as well—that is why she’s alone, iťs just her, she can’t escape from the hunt; she needs to find abby.

i’m struggling to see the theme that accompanies the story of the second game. there’s no angst. yes, it is a fucking sad gut-wretching story but that’s the point.
