Felicity could hear the foot steps coming from behind her and she raised a brow as she turned to face them. A small smile gracing her features. “It’s a bird bath. Spring is just around the corner you know? They’re going to need a safe, clean place to keep clean.”

Nodding she let him pull her into a hug. Smiling against his chest as she hugged him back. Felicity was more than thankful for a gesture like this one. Melting a bit at the sweet kiss to the top of her head. "If you say so. I mean you are a perfect now - how I will never know.." looking at their hands she smiled to herself as she walked close to him. "I've missed you..." she whispered a little still embarrassed and unsure of everything. Looking at the passage she nodded. "Sweets and coffee ... my two weaknesses." Smiling she stepped through already smelling the sweetness in the air.

Biting at her lip she blushed slightly embarrassed with herself. “Oh.. I just thought.. I mean it sounded like.” Instead of trying to explain herself she just sighed and set her forehead lightly against his shoulder and nodded softly. Maybe they could just pick off where they left off. Only this time Felicity could see things in a different mentality , and Randall could be more careful with the other girls now knowing why she was how she was. Smiling she pulled back a little to look back up at him. “I’m already behind in my classes and you’re trying to tug me away from them? Just this once, Randall, because I really want a coffee.”
“I know what it sounded like, but that’s not how I meant it,” he assured her. Randall pulled her into a firm hug and kissed the top of her head. “It’ll be fun, I promise. Totally fine if you miss one more day.” He pulled away and took her hand in his, making their way back down the halls and toward one of the many secret passages to Hogsmeade. He moved the entrance and gave her a grin before gesturing for her to go ahead of him. “This will take us right to Honeyduke’s. We can get some sweets and then coffee?”

“Well don’t I feel special,” James responded with a wide grin. She certainly was pretty and he couldn’t help but want to get to know her a little better. Get her to laugh a little more. “Now now Felicity..that sounds like victim blaming to me. I’d hate to think you’re blaming what happened to me on me.”
Felicity felt a small twinge in her chest. Victim blaming, something she’ done to herself many times. “I.. no. It was wrong of them to do something like that to you when you were clearly asleep.” she mumbled softly nibbling into her bottom lip.

Randall shook his head at her as she talked in circles. “I’m just saying in general. It’d be great if that happened, yes, but if I’m not who you end up with, then I’ll understand. Your happiness is what matters most to me, that’s all.” Honestly, he just didn’t want to let himself think that it might actually be real, that he might be allowed some happiness in the world, or that if he was allowed it, it would get pulled away. “So do you wanna skip the rest of your classes too? Maybe sneak out and get that coffee? Or do you wanna try and find our way back to civilisation?”
Biting at her lip she blushed slightly embarrassed with herself. “Oh.. I just thought.. I mean it sounded like.” Instead of trying to explain herself she just sighed and set her forehead lightly against his shoulder and nodded softly. Maybe they could just pick off where they left off. “Pleasure to meet you Felicity.” He crossed his arms, studying her face. She wasn’t too amused by him, but was at least a little more open to him now that he was half clothed. “Not too often. In fact..this was the first time. Do you..often run into half dressed people in the hall?”
“You as well.” Feeling his eyes on her she looked anywhere but at him as she tapped her fingers softly against her book. When he spoke her eyes went back to him. “I suppose there is a first time for everything. Oh, gosh, no.. It’s not something I’ve made a habit of. I can rightfully say you’re the.. first. As odd as it is.” She laughed a little more and shook her head. “Maybe it’ll teach you a lesson in not falling asleep somewhere public where people can well.. do this.”

“James Hook, at your service,” He offered, grinning wide at her deepening blush as he bowed his head in response. “Will getting to know me better make you more comfortable about me in my boxers?”
“Felicity Darnell.” She said back with a small nod. Raising a brow she laughed a little. “No, but you’d be on to a good start.” Shaking her head she let out a small sigh. “Does this happen often.”

“Of course I don’t! But I might start if it gets you to blush like that every time.” He responded, smirking. In the hopes to get her to put the book away, he raised his wand and summoned some pants. When a familiar pair of slacks came flying through the air, he smiled and caught them, putting them on in a fluid motion. “Alright..is that better?”
Felicity’s cheeks only got worse as he pointed the color out. “I would rather you didn’t. I mean I don’t even know your name.. let’s keep our cloths on, okay?” She snipped out rather annoyed with how smooth he was. Biting her cheek she peeked over the book again and nodded lowing it to hug against her chest. “much, thank you.”

“I’m thinking magic is to blame.” He laughed and shook his head. “Let me guess..you’re trying to keep your innocence. You’ve never seen someone in their boxers before?”
Frowning a little she pulled it down just enough to glare with her eyes. “it has nothing to do with that. It’s called not being rude and just looking over a complete stranger who’s cloths were taken from them. Unless you always parade around like this.” She huffed out putting pulling the book back up.

James laughed at the girl’s reaction, especially when she covered her face with the book. “I wish I knew. Woke up from a nap and they were gone.” Stepping closer to her, he looked at her curiously. “You gonna hide behind that book forever?”

“How does someone sleep through another stripping them of their cloths?” She mumbled against the hard cover of the book. Felicity couldn’t even see him but she felt her cheeks darken. “No.. just at least tell you put some pants on, please.”

Standing in an undershirt and boxers, James tried to not shiver visibly in the winter chill of the drafty hallway. “Oh I bet you find this hilarious,” he called out to no one in particular.
Felicity hummed softly to herself as she made her way towards the hallways back to her room. Hearing someone she jumped slightly before turning. “Oh good Merlin!” she shouted before covering her face with a book. “Where are your cloths?”

He shook his head at her words and smiled, brushing her hair back from her face. “I’m certainly not complaining,” he said with a soft laugh. “Don’t apologise for it. Seriously, I don’t mind.” To prove his point, he pressed another soft kiss to her lips, though it was brief. “I just want you to be comfortable. And I want you to be honest with yourself most importantly, okay?” He wasn’t really sure what to do now. Things were complicated, definitely, and confusing, but he didn’t really mind the idea of trying to figure it all out with her. “It’s almost as if you never left,” he joked quietly.

“of course you’re not complaining. I mean you just got kissed - what guy really would?” She said with a small laugh before she felt his lips press against hers again. A pout crossing her features with how quickly it ended, but she needed to control herself. Nodding softly she looked up at him. “Okay, but I mean.. I don’t want you talking me up to try and be with someone else.” She sighed softly. “I mean I don’t .. did I read everything wrong? I mean - I want to be your Felicity, but you just keep talking about someone, like someone else. “ Felicity wasn’t even sure if she was making sense at this point, she just didn’t want to like someone that only kinda liked her. Laughing a little she nodded. “Yeah.. kinda is, huh?”

randall-c-boggs:
Randall saw the tear and brushed a thumb across her cheek to wipe it away, hoping that the touch wasn’t too much for her. “Just do what feels right and that’ll be enough. That’s all it takes to be someone’s Felicity. Just be you.” He wanted to support her, whatever that meant, even if it meant helping her be with someone else, she deserved to have someone like that in her life. But then her lips met his, and he was too surprised for a moment to react. His eyes fell shut and he pulled her closer, his hand running through her hair as they kissed. Once it broke, he gave her a smile. “Yeah…like that. Whatever feels right to you,” he said lamely, chuckling softly.

Felicity wanted to speak up a little more. Tell him how she hoped she could be all this for him. Would that be too much? Sure he said he might still have feelings for her, but that didn’t mean he was ready to just jump back into their mess they’ve made for themselves. Feeling the way he pulled her in closer sent a shiver up her spine. A pleasant one, one that wasn’t anything to over board for her. As the kiss ended she kept still with her eyes closed for a moment remembering the feeling. “I.. I’m sorry. Did you not want me ... to kiss you? I mean I should have asked, I shouldn’t h-have just.. sorry..”

randall-c-boggs:
Randall leaned down to press a soft kiss to her forehead when she looked up at him. “You are special, Fel. You’re not just one of those girls, and that’s what makes you special. You’re not a fling, you’re someone meant to be taken seriously, and I’m sorry if I ever made you feel like you weren’t special. She had and will always have a place in my heart, yes, but that doesn’t mean I can’t learn to love someone else in the same capacity. Besides, you don’t want to be someone’s Meg. She’s a brat. You should strive to be someone’s Felicity. You can’t spend your life comparing yourself to other people because of what happened to you. You’re your own person, and you deserve all of the best that life has to offer you as yourself, not as someone you’re trying to compare yourself to.” He wasn’t really sure if it made sense, but he hated seeing how she still compared herself to other girls, even after he’d spent so long trying to convince her that she was enough in her own way.
“I .. don’t know how to be someone’s Felicity... or if someone even wants a Felicity. I just know how to keep people at arms distance, and to keep myself safe.” She said softly. Shutting her eyes she felt a small tear trickle down her cheek. Felicity knew if she had kept her walls up, and kept comparing, and didn’t listen to him for a change this could be her last chance. Eventually Randall would give up on her. His words warmed her heart a little and made her ease up on being so close to him. If anything she leaned in more. There were a million things going through her head, but she didn’t know how to put them into words. Instead she took change of everything, and made moves happen on her terms. Pushing to her tippy toes she lightly let her small hand hold his cheek as she leaned up to press her lips softly against his. Maybe he was right - and telling the truth. Maybe Felicity could someday be above Meg, maybe she’d have her own love, a different love with him - maybe she could be more then what she thought she was if she just gave him a chance, finally.

randall-c-boggs:
His smile returned again, and he shook his head. “Getting an explanation for why you left was closure enough. I would have dropped it after that if that was all I wanted.” As she started to explain, he wasn’t really sure what to expect. A bad virginity story? An awful first kiss? She said it didn’t have to do with cheating, and he didn’t want to even think that it could be worse, he wanted to believe she hadn’t had to go through anything darker, but the more she spoke, the more he felt his stomach start to twist, and his blood began to boil. He did his best not to show his anger on his face, his jaw only tensed momentarily. “Felicity, I am so sorry you had to go through all of that,” he began, pulling her into a firm hug. “No one should have to do through anything remotely close to that, and you deserve to be treated so much better. I know there’s really nothing I can do or say that would make it better, but I understand now. And I am so sorry.” Randall hesitated a moment before he spoke again. “I would never do anything like that to you, I want you to know that, too.”
Felicity felt the air leave her lungs. She never planned to tell randall, and every time she told someone new it felt more real, but also took a weight off her shoulders she didn’t really know she had on there. At first she tensed under the touch of his hug, but she knew it was hands that had no intentions of hurting her, not physically. Reaching up she lightly gripped his shirt as she held herself against him. Truthfully, she had no idea how much she needed someone’s comfort. With everything from leaving to her dad she kept a stone face and a head up. Shutting her eyes she took a moment to just enjoy the safe place she was creating for herself. “I .. I wanted to trust you so badly, Randall. And I wanted to be like all those other girls, in the dresses, and flirty, a-and.. It’s just hard to trust people when .. that’s happened. And I know I deserve better, it’s why I was so stubborn, because watching you really love someone else? I just wanted to be special, not some girl.. I just wanted to be someone’s Meg.. ”Nodding she looked up. “I know you won’t... most wouldn’t. It’s just.. the fear that they will.”
