Jack used to have brown eyes. So deep and rich and true that they'd remind you of tinted glass. Like sun glinting through fallen autumn leaves or honey whiskey. It was the kind of color you could melt into, so true that every word he spoke bore the essence of honesty and kindness. He would have been a good doctor - a face you could trust.
