I know it’s trendy to fight the system and cry that we are all becoming slaves of technology, but this attitude overlooks that computers and phones are tools for communicating. When someone thinks I’m an idiot smiling at a machine, I’m actually smiling at my girlfriend who is 10000 miles away and whom I would have never met if not for these newfangled electronics. As they say: when the wise man points to the moon, the fool looks at the finger.

This is a topic that I’ve been wanting to tackle for a while now; much credit to this excellent post for bringing it to the front of my brain.

Grabe pala. Dati wala naman talaga akong gustong course pagdating ng college kaya nung sinabi ng nanay kong HRM, edi nag-HRM ako. Isa ring dahilan eh, sabi kasi nila, makakarating daw ako sa iba’t ibang bansa at dahil pangarap kong mag travel kaya eto ako First year sa kursong BS HRM. Isa ring dahilan kung bakit ito ang kurso ko ngayon eh sa wala raw akong patutunguhan sa “Psychology”  Yep, yun yung course na ginusto ko nung nasa Ika-apat na ako ng taon ng sekondarya ang kaso hindi ko naipasa sa UST yun, di rin naman naming kayang magbayad ng tuition dun. Nung sinabi kong gusto ko mag Psychology,, ano raw bang mapapala ko sa pagsa-psychology, guidance counselor lang daw ba? Wala rin daw akong makukuhang trabaho, syempre sa dami ng negative snide remarks nila, nakakapanghina ng loob. Ako kasi yung klase ng tao na takot magkamali, masyado akong nahumaling sa comfort zone ko, yung tipong ayokong sumagal kasi baka matalo lang ako at pagdating sa dulo sisisihin nila ako. So ayun pinush ko na lang ‘yung HRM. Pero sa pagdaan ng araw, kinatatamaran ko yung pagpasok, magtu-two months pa lang, tinatamad na ko pumasok. Nakakatamad naman talaga kung wala kayong masyadong ginagawa, Cooking, housekeeping, managing – yan yung HRM eh di ko naman trip yang mga yan. Nagda-doubt tuloy ako, pero tutal pinasok ko, ita-try ko pa rin. Baka sa second sem eh feel na feel ko na ‘tong course ko.

  Kung di man ako payagang mag shift, tatapusin ko muna 'to saka ako mag-aaral ng course na gusto ko. Pagkagraduate ko nun, ang tandaaa ko na. T_T Yung tipong may pamilya na ‘yung mga ka-batch ko, ako eh nagpapractice pa lang ako ng tinapos ko. Yung tipong may anak na sila ako NBSB pa rin. HAHA. Career first before anything else. Suportahan niyo na lang ako, please. That’s what I need or shall I say, everyone. Diba? Ang hirap i-push ng isang bagay na walang naniniwala o sumusuporta man lang sa’yo. Kaya please, suportahan niyo ko. Bigyan ko kayong piso. XDXD

UNDERSTANDING THE CAPRICORN MIND:

As mostly anyone whose ever read anything on Capricorns, know’s we are guarded, reserved and distrusting of others. We hear and see this all the time and there’s never been anything more true. This is why the love playing field is sort of hard for us. It’s hard to love someone if you feel like you can’t really trust anyone. This is also why Caps are so hard to understand. People take our guarded walls as being stuck up and often get the feeling that we think we’re better than everyone. This is far from the case. Very very far.

Capricorns don’t tend to open up about anything to anyone. It’s still capable of happening, however, and when it does listen up because if you don’t the Cap takes this as a sign that you really don’t care, providing Cap with even more reason to pile on those bricks to that wall they keep up so well. We’re testing people all the time, and in that case they would have failed. We do this in just about any relationship we have, be it a romantic one or a friendship. It’s our way of figuring out how trustworthy you really are, if you are at all honestly.

In romantic relationships however, I think the testing comes out more so. We send our lover through hoops, seeing what they’re made of and who they really are. This is why when we are in relationships and things start getting serious, we often try to push them away. It’s a way we figure out how loved we really are and if that person truly loves us at all. All we really want is to know we can trust you and that you really love us. We’re very insecure and need to know we matter to someone somewhere.
