Ever since the first day in the canon world, the Au Kids have been sleeping on matresses in the dojo. They don't mind sleeping like that, neither do they have a wish of a different sleeping spot.

It's obvious that the canon turtles could let them sleep in Splinters old room, but considering the fact that their father has passed away not too long before the beginning of the AU, it makes sense that they wouldn't just yet. Their hearts are still bleeding from the loss and the Au Kids are smart: they noticed that there's someone missing.

But maybe, after having known the Kids for over a year, they begin to consider changing the room to turn it into the Kids' new bedroom. It would be a surprise, starting on monday. They have a deadline to finish it until friday, because that's when the kids will come visit after school to stay over until sunday.

They empty the room, get materials to build four beds (Donnie is ecstatic about this and gets ceative with the designs), each suiting the kids' likes, and put the beds in the room, alongside with the dresser/closets where the kids keep some clothes in, so they don't have to keep bringing changes of clothes with them everytime they visit.

Seeing the au kids so excited to see their new room once they visit on friday, makes the canon turtles realize that this was truly the right decision.

Getting stranded in a unfamiliar world sucks, especially if you're used to wearing clothes and the only ones you have with you, are the ones you're currently wearing.

Luckily the canon turtles were able to give their counterparts some change of clothes to wear while they're stranded, even if it's oversized.

Raphie deciding last minute to take a shower while the other turtles are out. Means he has to take out his hearing aids to avoid them getting wet.

He just didn't expect the others to come home during his shower and with no one knowing where he went, plus him being unable to hear their calls, he opens the bathroom door only to find his seven brothers panickly trying to find him.

Cue him having to explain what he did and trying to prove to Leo and Raph that he's alright.

Some doodles for my prototype design of Raphies over-head hearing aids, to figure out how I want them to look. He's got a smaller pair too, that he can hide underneath his mask.

I talk about the Au Kids a lot, but the canon turtles are just as important to the AU as the kids. So today we are taking a look at Leo, the leader of the team.

Finally he gets the scars he (doesn't) deserve, over his back shell, plastron, throat and knee. I also added in a knee brace, which he got from Malea...and from Lee, but he'd never admit it.

Additionally he got new gear, since the old one got worn out.

Everything mostly stays the same, although I added scars to his skin, which he obtained throughout the course of the show, just like his brothers. There's not a specific one I'd point out exactly.

He has fangs, because I adore that as a design choice and I kept his knee wraps, since he seemingly has those in the show as well. Just like his brothers he was gifted new gear, as the old one got pretty worn out over time.

One particular thing that makes me laugh, is how both Raphs got the front-cracks in their shells respectively. Like...

Raphie: I got mine during a skating-accident.

Raph: I got mine being run over by a shopping cart as a baby.
