Garden update! Tomatoes are still flourishing, tomatillos are finally growing larger than pea size. Unfortunately my pumpkin is developing some kind of rot :/ I hope we can salvage the seeds at least.

My last chore before I run off overseas was harvesting the tomatoes. Look at how pretty they are!

I got bored after running through my tasks extra efficiently today and wandered over the warehouse to see if they needed any help. Of course my father immediately put me to work helping him catch up with return processing. I did real manual labor! I had a box cutter and tape roll and everything. Even practiced my aim throwing boxes up to the top of the inventory racks (I'm sure that's OSHA approved) So I'm basically a blue collar worker now💪 hehe

Since my car is out of commission, I've been borrowing my father's trusty (well aged) ford ranger. I feel kind of ridiculous driving it around. This is the truck of a real blue collar worker. Every time I struggle with the gear shift all I think of is you have soft hands brother.

Turns out the third time was not the charm. Ready to admit perhaps the love of my life really isn't on tumblr. At least not the circles I run in. This blog is but a minor facet of my life and none of you truly know me nor can I say I truly know any of you.

I have realized I can't find love with someone an ocean apart from me, at least not the type of love I want. I need someone who actually understands what it is to live in my world. People have a lot to say about this country looking in from the outside (and they do have a point) but at the end of the day it's my home and I do not plan on abandoning it for greener pastures.

I need a relationship with someone I can actually see and have real experiences with. Someone I can build a life with. But I also know I can't have that right now. Not until I can finally make it out of my parents house and have a place of my own where I am free and safe to be the person i want to be.

Not to mention expending so much energy on romance just seems frivolous in times like these. There are more important things in my life to focus on.

So loveless I shall remain for now, but not forever.
