Finally, 21!

It's the big 2 1 aaaAAaaa HAPPIEST 21st BIRTHDAY MY BUBBY!!! I officially welcome you to  "adulthood" my love! HAHAHAH Grabe how time flies! We got together even before we were 18 and look at us now, marching onto another big chapter in our life ❤

First of all, I wanna congratulate you babu for surviving college and thriving so far especially kakatapos lang ng 3rd year midterms mo! It may feel and look like youre not doing much because all you are facing is "school work" but goddamn baby you are on FIRE!!! You continously produce quality and beautiful work that is why I am so incredibly proud of you! You manged to deliver all your requirements while also balancing your time and participation sa org. I'm very very happy and thrilled to see you to thrive and be in your nature again! I know its not easy and it gets tiring + draining, but you got through it and I know also you'll get even better at handling your acads and extra curriculars!

I also know and understand the extreme pressure you are feeling to  excel in your academics but also to be independent and earn for yourself. I'm always here to support you in whatever babu while I'm still earning to be able to continue school, I'll always be by your side if you need an extra hand in doing your reqs or if you need some help in accompishing or attaining gigs!

Being an adult is a very very scary and intimidating thing, I do feel like I was thrown into that reality a bit earlier than you and I know it's not an easy battle, but i got you by my side and I was able to survive all the stormy days I encountered. That alone makes me confident that you'll take on adulthood bravely and wisely. It's alright to feel intimidated and always know that you've got a bootiful babu cole always by your side ready to be your rock and your guide.

Seeing you and growing with you through the years is honestly a mind blowing thought. We've gone 5thru a lot and i've seen you in multiple situations in life. The growth never stops as we continue our venture in life and my wish for you babu is that you keep on striving to be wiser as you enter adulthood. There is still a lot to learn and much more things for us to exeprience individually and together, and my wish is that as 6you navigate your way through life's obstacle, make sure to take note of the lessons that it gives you and use it to your advantage. More specific wishes is that I hope my bubby lives a very long happy life (with me of course), be healthy (NOT SO MUCH NODOLS), be even more responsible with "adult things" like money and grown up responsibilities but also, i wish that the kid inside you never dies and you continue to be the sunshine that you are even though we are grown ups now.

Our relationship isn't perfect but I cant thank you enough bubby for always being so understanding and patient. Thank you for always lending a hand when I can't handle my shit anymore and thank you for always staying by my side. Thank you also for growing with me, that is something that I am genuinely thankful for because that made us stronger than ever. I promise to take care of you always babu and to help and give you anything that you might need or want. I promise to love you in all your highs and especially in your lows. As we take on adulthood, I guarantee that I'll always be with you in this crazy adventure.

You deserve the world my sunshine, you helped and inspire so many people around you. Don't ever let your shine fade away and always remember that you are above all worries and anxiety that bother you. Another fight is with your mental health but always know babu to never be afraid to reach out and also remember that you have a lot of people around you that cares, loves, and is deeply thankful for you. That is why I also wish for you to take care of yourself because I won't always be there to nag you hehe. You matter my love and your existence is such a great gift to everyone around you. I am the luckiest person ever because youre mine (forever and always) but your kindness, empathy, and intellect must be shared (pero ako lang ang mahal saakin lang uuwe 😛).

Happy 19th my Love!!

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY GERARD KO! Huh? You’re here again?!!? HAHAHA Time flies so fast bubby, It feels like it was only two months ago when I first made this blog to salubong your birthday but here we are!! Celebrating our 2nd birthday together as a couple and nearing our 2nd anniversary!

So how do i start my cheeesy birthday greeting for you this year? HAHAHA Okay sige, now mahal we’re in college na and were even done with our first college midterms! when you think about it, it looks like we’ve gone so far from where we were this time last year yet everything felt so quick. A lot of things happened, both good and bad and of course a lot of things changed not just with our relationship but also with ourselves!! 2020 has been a challenging year especially with this whole pandemic and lockdown but despite the world literally crippling and ending around us, you continued to amaze me. 

Of course, my usual line is that things weren’t easy! both individually and relationship wise. We had to deal with a lot of personal things during the start of quarantine and things got pretty ugly, you’ve been so vulnerable, all over the place even! but you know what? those things made me love you even more. You fell deep and hard but you chose to still strive and work hard for what you want. Your dedication will never fail to amuse me and even if I saw you on your lowest, I still look up to you. 

I don’t even know anymore how I can express how proud I am of you and your journey and development this quarantine especially with your art. You’ve improved and grown so much in just a few months!  I might sound redundant cause I always praise you and your work but know na I mean every single thing I say and I will never get tired of praising you because you deserve it. I know that I don’t have to tell you but I will, Keep making and practicing your art! Seeing you rekindle with your love for making art and develop through out the months was a very inspiring and fulfilling sight! Every time na you get excited and happy when you show me your artworks, my heart fills with so much warmth and joy! It is such a pleasure to be with you and be your partner and see every single step of your journey T_T i’m like a proud momma for real <3 Pero ayun, I do my best to remind you everyday naman na proud na proud ako in anything you do and make! and I keep reminding you na bubby cole will always be here to support you and love you no matter what happens kaya I won’t make this part long na. Basta keep creating for yourself, soon enough bubby you’ll be creating for the world. I'm sure of it, Gerard Arlo pa ba? ^_^

Earlier this year we were in a pretty pretty rough patch but baby our growth during this quarantine is unbelievable T_T Idk i might be OA but yea, it wasn’t easy to figure things out, it may have taken us a lot of time to realize things and change up our ways but we’re here! We’re better and stronger than ever and we’ve just been growing and enjoying our life together. I know we’ve said a handful of hurtful words na to each other and we’ve gone through crazy ass senseless shit fights but Thank you for keeping up with me :( Thank you for still choosing to love me at the end of the day. Thank you for putting up with my emotional outbursts, my kaartehan and everything in between! Basta alam mo naman yun, sobrang thankful ako sa lahat ng pagmamahal, alaga at oras na nibigay mo saakin kasi iba yang lahat na yan dahil ikaw ang nagbigay T_T 

Thank you for growing and changing for the better! We’re in a whole new journey now with college and we’re facing a bigger world and ang wish ko lang for you bubby is that kahit nandito ako to ensure na you’re always well taken care of, please never forget to take care of yourself mentally and physically! always drink your water and I know how you get in the zone when you’re drawing, watching or playing but never skip meals okay? I wish na there will be more opportunities for you for the rest and the coming year! bubby cole will always be holding your hand no matter which door you choose to open ^_^ Lastly, I wish you all the best but you got me, so you already got the best! HAHAHAHAHAHA totoo yan! as long as we’re together I’ll always make sure that my bubby lablab gets nothing but the best!!!

I know you put your heart and soul in everything that you do but I want to remind you na whatever you’re doing is enough and don’t give yourself too much unnecessary pressure. The world sees your efforts and the people closest to you are always always proud of you!

when you turned 18...

Happy 18th Birthday my Love! First of all i'm so thankful kila tita because they created you! And i thank God enough for giving me someone like you. Mahal you are the greatest, most amazing blessing that I have and I will ever receive. No one else can top you bubby. Everyone knows that you are a big big big ball of sunshine and in every people you meet, you never fail to shed some of your light that remains with them forever. You're always there to help others even if it troubles you na, you still choose to help others and to show them nothing but kindness. You are a blessing not just to me but to everyone else around you. You're selfless and you have the kindest heart anyone could ever have. You’re not madamot especially with your talent in photography and I really admire the way you work with people and how they’re always captured by your charm. Your love for photography may be greater than your love for me :P but i won’t mind because seeing how happy you are whenever you take photos, edit them and then finally flex your end results, it makes me so happy my love. Seeing you pour your heart and soul in your passion always astounds me. With the way you work and practice your skills right now, I know for sure that you’ll succeed, not a single ounce of doubt ;) 

Remember when you asked me if i expected a relationship like this? I said no, but I didn't give you any more explanations right? Well here you go..

No, I never expected a relationship as messy yet as beautiful as this. Especially with you. You're honestly the most kind-hearted, selfless, most gentle, most caring and sweetest guy i've ever met. Back when we're still just bestfriends I thought that super swerte ng magiging girlfriend mo because you literally have everything a girl could ask for in a boyfriend! Tbh pasok na pasok ka sa standards ko as my potential boyfriend eh HAHAHA candidate ka dati sa potential crush ko then we became bestfriends and i thought i was cursed nanaman and i'll forever be that "binebestfriend" nalang. You're a literal angel and im literally a little petty demonyita girl. Up to this day i'm still surprised of how easily and how fast we got close and how our personality sweetly complimented each other. I never expected na you'll like me romantically hahahahaha as in NEVER nung naglalandian nalang tayo tyaka ako nag assume na aYY BET MO DIN AKO HEHEHE Sino ba naman magkakagusto sakin diba? But my love, you saw something in me.

You made me feel what true love is like. You made me feel my worth. You accepted me and loved me for who I am, You loved me with all of you and You never failed to take care of me. You are the most understanding and patient boyfriend ever! I know our relationship may not be perfect but you never gave up and you kept your strong ground whenever we hit a rough road and you never let go of me.

I can't thank you enough for everything, my bubby. Thank you for coming in to my life, for loving, understanding, and most especially for keeping up with all my bullshit. Thank you for having the courage to confess to me last March, Thank you for choosing to love me everyday.

Baby, the day that I let all my guards down for you and the day that I said yes to you, I knew na you were the one the I want to spend the rest of my life with. Bubby now you're 18 na, you're an adult na but you will forever be my baby ha? (HALA PARANG NANAY HAHAHA). Now palang ang dami mo ng responsibilities with the orgs, class, your studies and your photography and I just wanna tell you how proud I am of you. I may not always say this but bubby, sobrang proud ako sayo and even though you're my bestfriend and my boyfriend, I really look up to you. You always put out quality work and you're so passionate in everything you do. Baby kahit big boy na ikaw andito lang palagi si bubby by your side ha? always remember that. Bubby is always here for you, I know how strong you are and how responsible you are naman when you're working on something it's just that when you're stresed you tend to panic and you can't seem to do anything properly but that's why i'm here. I'm here to be your rest and to help you in everything bubby. Don't ever think of it as a burden because you are and will never be a burden to me. You have my full support in everything you do and I'm always willing to give you a hand in anything. College is coming up and I know it won't be easy but it will also open up a lot more oppurtunities for you, I can't wait to see you succeed in everything that you do my love.
