“I’m impressed, this is a very accurate for something you did in the spur of the moment. I take it you’re a professional sculptor then?” She asked curious about whether her suspicion about the woman was true. Given how talented she was it wouldn’t be a surprise. She wondered if the woman would let her buy the sculpture. 

“Would you allow me to pay for the sculpture?”

“I am,” Kasai nodded with a big smile, “Kasai Yagiri of Yagiri Sculptures--I own the business. And ah...” she looked at the statue, “You can have it, but no, I won’t take money for this one. I only take money for my best works, and I can do better than this,” she grins, 

“However, if you’d like to pay me for another sculpture, I wouldn’t be opposed~”

Was she limping that badly today? She had forgone her leg brace that morning, and her leg did ache even with the tylenol she had taken. Shiho shakes her head no to Kasai, but is touched by the woman’s concern for her.

“I like the cold. It’s…. refreshing to me. Helps with clearing my head.”

“Ah..I can’t really feel the chill, to be honest,” Kasai grins, “I dunno why. Maybe it’s just me. It’s always way too warm for my tastes, hence why I’m outside in this.” she motions to her outfit.

Shiho smiles gently, a quiet chuckle escaping painted pink lips. Had she found a kindred spirit? She certainly hopes that she did.

“I’m Shiho Suzui!” She greets the other enthusastically.

The ex-kami chuckles to herself as well, “You alright? You seem to be limping on your leg,” she points out, motioning to Shiho’s leg, “Should you be out in this kind of cold?” Here she was again. Not only did she express concern for someone she barely knew, she did it within moments of meeting her.

Shiho looks at her with a bit of a shocked look, but after a few minutes of consideration, she nods as if she agrees with Kas’s words.

“I guess that’s true. There’s nothing healthy in keeping people around that think you’re a liability.”

Kasai nodded,

“If your friends aren’t supporting you, then they aren’t your friends. That’s what separates them from acquaintances, you know?” the redhead beams at the girl, “I’m Kasai, by the way.”

Naoto was quite surprised when the woman showed her the sculpture of herself, it was an amazingly accurate sculpture. Even the paint was incredibly similar to the colours of her own classic attire. “This is very detailed, you made this in just one night?” Naoto asked curious about how much time was spent on the sculpture. It goes without saying that the woman must be a professional sculptor, it was a logical assumption based on the evidence that was presented to her.

“That’s correct. It was very spur-of-the-moment, truth be told.” While Naoto examined the statue, Kasai’s stomach was doing flips. It wasn’t her best work. Would Naoto like it? Would she hate it? Was she sweating too much? Oh shit, she was, wasn’t she? Wait, was she shaking?

Of course, all of this was in her head, and she was panicking for very little reason.

“Not wish-to,” Kasai turned, grabbing something from the desk, before presenting a fully-detailed sculpture of Naoto, in her classic attire, standing on a simple square base. It was even painted! “Here we are. Fully completed. I did it last night when I saw you on television.” she beamed--blissfully unaware that being able to complete a sculpture with such accurate detail should take far longer than a single night.
