Okay, thanks for your patience. Firstly, that is no mere random guy. That is Norman Babcock of the Laika film ParaNorman. Their ship, for which this blog was originally created, is called "ParaPines". Which answers the why of your question, I'd imagine; those two hold a special place in my heart.

It was quite a popular ship back in the day, too, besides the first one to really snag my heart and imagination. Felt compelled to write my first fanfic for it (and second, third, fourth, etc.), and I still write at least a yearly fic for it to commemorate the date of the ship's creation on August 20th.

the insane experience of missing a fictional character . like you can always go back and reread the book , replay the game , rewatch the show or movie , you can always go back & see them , but you can never experience them & their story for the first time again . its absurd to miss them because they'll always be there , but you'll miss when there were still new things for them to say .

for a small time they were real & growing and changing and you hung onto every new word, but now all they can do is repeat the same story forever&ever & they're not real anymore because you know everything they're going to do. & you miss them. its fucked man...

I imagined some context for that ElMike scene in the teaser, and I loved reading everyone’s theories the last couple of days so I wanted to share my own version of it.

I am trying to get more into drawing comics so this was a steep learning curve for sure. Let’s see how the next one goes! (Also shoutout to @travellingdragon for always encouraging me in my artsy endeavours)

Silly Game Time; The Bad News is that a witch tried to curse a real jerk of a person who deserved it ... But they accidentally missed and hit you instead. They feel really sorry, but there's no way to break the curse. The Good News is that the curse is pretty minor and will wear off after 43 days.

Would you rather it be that your hands are so dry that the skin flakes and cracks, or so moist that your skin is always kinda clammy and sweaty?

Jokes on you, as a person who deals with forever Eczema, dry skin that flakes and cracks is my norm.

I can vouch on the awfulness that is dry skin that ✨cracks✨ it’s pretty awful. I’ll take the clammy skin. It’ll be a new experience. I may ask the witch to re curse me depending on how beneficial the side effects are against my already dry and decaying skin. XD
