"not strictly speaking," unless one counted asahi, des, abel, countless others that sora had stumbled across only to have to fight them because talking seemingly never worked. don't be bitter, sora. sometimes there're those beyonds words. he knew that. it still ached. "i guess i prefer to think of them as, mmn, rivals? yes. i don't wish ill on them, but they're content with trying to cause trouble. so."

a little gasp here, "why do you ask. wait, do you want to be rivals?" the thought hadn't crossed sora's mind, before now. they did get along, so far as sora was concerned... hmm. maybe that could work. "i don't see why not. i think it'd be kind of fun. i haven't had a proper sparring partner in ages. don't want my sword skills getting rusty."

i have been going through it these last few days - family stuff yaaay.

tbh it's affected my will to write here?? i am, trying my best to muster up the will in order to reply/send in asks what have you!! writing helps me to calm down,

but in order to compensate i've been playing more visual novels lately to help & that has been helpful so i'm glad for that,

all this to say: it's hard to write sora now, but now's when i need to write for sora the most. fun times. i'll do my best to be active & around over the latter half of this week.

"my, that's a very elaborate mascot costume," he enjoyed the bear themeing of the mascot. sora had realized he was in another part of japan, seemingly about 4 years in the future of what he would've known as his present. it was a bit odd getting used to the advances in technology. so much was changing in so few years now, it could be staggering.

this 'junes' store chain was fancy, and reminded him of the bigger chains in america & parts of england that he'd seen on his trips around the world. but what had caught sora's eye? the mascot tottering down the aisles, interacting with kids and young housewives alike, offering balloons, free hugs or just free samples from various food departments.

sora, having waited his turn, had finally called out to the mascot. he was squatted down in order to meet the bear's height. "you must be hot inside of there, yes? would you like some water? i can go grab a water bottle for you."
