Axe is sitting on the edge of their bed, wearing just pants. He stares down at the ground before lifting his head up when he feels the bed dip a bit. A smile crosses his lips when he feels Omera scoot closer to him. He relaxes when he feels her press kisses against his shoulder blade. “Morning,, dear.”

Eyes slowly blinked open as she began to wake. Her hand slid out to feel around next to her sleepily. The spot beside her was still warm but the body she’d been wrapped in all night was missing.  Looking up she spotted Axe sitting on the edge of the bed on his own side. He seemed to be lost in thought. 

Slowly she pulled herself up onto her knees before moving to his side of the bed. Per normal he’d slept shirtless. Leaning forward she pressed a few kisses to his back between his shoulder blades before resting her forehead to the back of his neck. “ Morning, ” she replied before pressing another kiss to his back. “ Everything alright? ”

[ BROKEN ]:     after having promised the receiver that they’d return, it’s learned that the sender died during their mission. how does the receiver respond?

[ TRAPPED ]:     after having promised the receiver that they’d return from a mission, the receiver learns that the sender has been kidnapped or otherwise trapped, requiring a rescue mission to bring them home.

[ RESCUE ]:     the sender and receiver reunite after the sender embarked upon an infamously perilous rescue mission to save the receiver.

[ FOUND ]:     after a massive rescue mission to try and find the missing receiver, the sender is the first to find them just as the efforts are about to be abandoned.

[ HOPE ]:     just as the receiver is about to lose hope in ever finding the sender again, a message or clue of some kind is discovered that essentially guarantees that the sender is still alive, restoring the receiver’s hope once more.

[ CLING ]:     having finally been reunited, the sender pulls the receiver into a tight, overwhelmingly relieved embrace, clinging to them and burying their face in their shoulder. the whole deal. make it EMOTIONAL–

Just finished ( FINALLY ) watching Obi-Wan Kenobi. I started it last year when it was coming out but then I had final project shoots and moved countries. So I am only catching up now.

IT WAS SO GOOD OMG. I loved everything about it. Reva was so interesting, Haja was hilarious and Leia was AMAZING.

Also, I am pretty sure Omera just has a thing for older men that are good with kids because 👀

it’s been 3 seasons since omera’s first and last appearance and i still think about her and din djarin. how din trusted her and found comfort in her so much that he let her put her hands on his helmet and almost let her take it off. and when the shot from the bounty hunter goes off, he puts his body in front of hers and tells her to “go get the kids”, like they were their own family. HOW could they put this in the show and expect me not to go insane?!?!

Fingers reached out to gently stop him as he started to lower his shirt again. Moving it up again for just a moment she gave it a better look before letting the shirt go. She tried to keep the look of disapproval off of her face and instead hide it in concern. Omera bit her lip. She didn’t want to start an argument. “ Does it hurt? ”

Axe’s shoulders slump a bit as he relaxes. He was grateful for her and how understanding she was. Axe curls his fingers into his pant legs and smiles softly at her. “I’m sorry, dear. Sometimes it’s just easier to pretend.” He lifts a hand up and runs it through his hair. “How are you?”

Eyes follow his hand as it begins to run through his curls. “I’m fine,” she says, “ How are you ? ” Her question is a bit suspicious as her gaze moves down over him as if expecting to find some kind of injury. It was how she found him many times. Not necessarily horribly injured but not in perfect condition. She couldn’t say she was a fan of the fight club he frequented.
