A fic where instead of calling his grandparents to take him to El Paso, Chris calls Buck and they end up having him move to the loft.

It's hard on everyone, because it was part of the deal that Buck and Eddie would start to see each other less outside of work, so Chris could feel like he had the space he needed from his dad. They still see each other basically everyday because of work, and they're fine, because this is about what Christopher needs, but they still miss each other.

Meanwhile Buck and Tommy are dating so he's around a lot and Chris can't stand even a second more of it because 'that rat of a man is too ugly for Buck, and he doesn't even know him, and he doesn't smile like he smiles with you, dad. Plus, again, really fucking ugly.' he says as he show's up at Eddie's doorsteps to tell him he needs to break Buck and Tommy up (and Eddie is so ecstatic he can't even bring himself to scold him for the cuss word)
