Percy and Jason sparring for fun. Others can keep up well enough, but when they fight, they fight as equals in entirely different ways. They draw crowds when they spar, sometimes loud and excited and other times quiet and enchanted.

Despite practice blades clashing loudly, they move like they’re in the most elegant dance. They zero in entirely on the other, eyes only leaving the others to dodge and try to strike by surprise.

Their spars last for a long while, ending with victories and ties, Jason never had liked to tie at first but he’s grown okay with it, more happy to fall into such a gentle yet intense trance nowadays, victories seem meaningless in the bigger picture.

in my opinion this is a really tasty concept, - Jason wolf possessive, but he is gentle and affectionate.

AAAA I love wolfy behavior Jason. Him nipping at Percy at first results in a not so friendly response because, Jason has always been used to nipping his wolf companions and he was used to nipping a little too hard for human standards plus like Percy swore they were just having a great guy and honestly whenever he gets bitten it’s always during a fight. So he’s just like “what the fuck dude?” and Jason is just like “oh fuck that’s right, people don’t usually do that” and he gets all flustered being like “it’s something I did while I was being raised by the wolves, it was a sign that we cared for each other, blah blah blah” and Percy was like “oh.” (also a bit flustered now” and he just is like “just,,, be gentler next time yeah?” And Jason is just so bright after. And there are next times, idk if this idea you have is like pre or current relationship between them so I’ll indulge both sides.

Pre relationship, the two are their usual goofy selves and they’re like “haha, yup just two guys who are buddy’s and one of them casually and gently bites and rubs cheeks with the other who just takes it and no, of course Percy isn’t blushing what’s there to blush for, just a little nonverbal bro communication”. And they linger in this routine for a while, but like, despite being two of the most accredited fighters in their lives, who have done some of the most dangerous and ballsy things, they’re too damn oblivious of each others feelings because they’re too busy focused on how entirely unlikely that it would be for the other to feel the same as them. (Like, once again, pointing to canon, how long did it take for Perce and Beth to get together???) Anyway, one day, on a decently relaxed and not super event filled day, which kinda is rare for the two, they’re just existing in each others space, idk maybe in a cabin or somewhere less involved with other campers, Jason just leans into Percy and bumps his nose into Percy’s cheek, leaving a few soft bites on his jaw or cheeks before rubbing their cheeks together and just resting there and Percy explodes like “dude, I don’t think we can keep doing this” and Jason is kinda startled because it’s been a thing for them for like months and now they might have to stop? Did Percy start to get weirded out? Did he do it too often? And Percy’s just like “dude, don’t think too much but I just can’t keep doing this if you don’t feel the same way I do.” And Jason is like “the… way you do??” And Percy just exhaustedly explains and confesses and Jason is just like red as fuck and like “you’ve got feelings for me too?” And Percy just goes “TOO?”

So safe to say they begin to date and everyone’s reaction is relief, like “IT TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!!!”

Percy and Jason in current relationship standings with this wolfy like behavior are just disgustingly affectionate. They’re pretty chill most of the time, but what used to be like momentary bursts of this hyper-affectionate thing they used to do is now more, Jason’s nuzzling and little nips to the face area now turn into mega pda moments that have their friend fake gagging, other campers are not excluded. Aphrodite cabin are their fan club tho.

You mentioned Jason doing this not only in an affectionate and tender way, but also protective. So obviously, Jason has a streak of jealousy. Nothing weird and overbearing just possessive sometimes, like, this guys mine, don’t touch don’t get too close in that way. And he successfully keeps people from romantically approaching Percy. I like to think all the campers after apprehensive of others too, so when they meet new people, Jason gets into this protective mood too, surrounding Percy as much as possible and trying to be the big scary guy he is, when people think they could romance Percy, he gets a bit bitey too and wards them off. Percy could definitely get them to back off himself, but he’s well content with being protected for once, even if he doesn’t necessarily need to be, it’s just sweet to him.

Maybe the younger campers have a joke about Jason being the big bad wolf around Percy with strangers or potential romancers, because he’s huge ofc, and they know he’s scary, but when it’s just the two of them or their friend group, he’s the hugest puppy for Percy.

Not to mention, Percy defo has a thing for the wolfy tendencies his boyfriend has too, especially when Jason gets protective and possessive.

Big protective guard dog to someone who doesn’t need protection but takes it anyway is such a sweet thing to me. Like, take this! Devotion to the extreme!!

Anyway, I rambled here, but I hope it was a fun ramble. Love me some wolf behavior Jason, like extremely love it. Need more Jason being very wolfy tho, not just like the surface level stuff, but also the more animalistic stuff, especially in battle. Such a thing I love.

when i was in my chemistry classes i was told that most decisions, most thoughts, most movements and most pains are caused by electrical currents going through our nerves.

jason could, if he wanted to, tap into that. he could make you feel the most excruciating pain in the world without giving you a MINUTE to stop him. he could manipulate every thought you’re ever had and every movement of your body and you wouldn’t even NOTICE.

and that’s just talking about electricity and nerves. he controls wind and air too.

percy’s cool and all with his “70% of your body is made of water” but how about “i’ll take every atom of oxygen away from you and watch you rot faster than a dead body”? how about choking you despite the air being totally fine around you? taking away every bit of air in your bloodstream?

and what about air pressure? maybe i’m pushing it, but the way he saved piper in tlh speaks volumes on his control on the air around him. what if he can make your entire body implode on a whim by making the pressure around you exponentially higher?

jason has so, SO much potential.

My Jason Grace headcannons 🤭

• When he first got to camp Jupiter he tried to lick the inside of peoples mouths.

•He also bit people he didn’t like.

•He used to think the only countries were America, New Rome, The Roman Empire and Greece.

•When he got to camp Jupiter his hair was fillies with sticks and leaves and was matted in a big ball.

•One time on a quest he ran into some people who were LARPing the Roman Empire and he started talking to them like they were demigods.

•He also found some people LARPing the death of Ceaser… he tried to kill them.

•He doesn’t express his ADHD verbally but keeps it in his mind but then he spills it all out to Reyna at the end of the day and then she punches him and then he sleeps.

•He didn’t know gay people existed until Nico was shoved out of the closet.

•When Nico was shoved out of the closet Jason realised that he was also kinda gay for Percy (and later realised abt Leo, they kissed ran away and Jason never died!!! Yippee!!!!
