the reason "robot racism" is often a really stupid metaphor is the same reason that like. discrimination against demons or vampires or whatever doesn't work, is because there's often a pretty justified reasons humans are scared of vampires or robots or whatever, in a way that doesn't apply to real life minorities, like a fantasy author will be like "the reason vampires are discriminated against is because most of them and kill and eat people for fun and pleasure, and so humans respond by trying to kill them, isn't that so sad" and like no that's a perfectly fine reason to not trust vampires i think.

More Shadows of Rose thoughts after watching through the whole thing.
1. I really want to know if Duke is aware of his consciousness being reconstructed there. It's my understanding/assumption that he's in there because he's alive and has an active link to the Mold, otherwise he would be a really random character for Miranda to reassurect, especially in Lady Dimitrescu's house? It's the only way it makes sense to me. So does he feel it? Does he know?
2. Related to that, I REALLY want to know if any of The Masked Duke's thoughts are real or if he's just sort of an empty body for Miranda to puppet around. He says he has this inexplicable urge to inflict pain, and I'm really curious if it comes from the real Duke. Because I could see it. I highly doubt he'd ever hurt Rose, but there's really no telling what his actual desires and motivations are in general.
3. I REALLY want Duke and Rose to meet someday, if only for the reason that he's one of the only other people who knew Ethan and is a major reason she's alive at all. BUT it would unavoidably be the most horrifying, traumatic experience for her after SoR. This poor fucking girl, I'm banging my head against the wall.

Well shit, the Republicans brought a certain anti-online porn bill back to the table.
The Interstate Obscenity Definition Act.
This should alarm you guys.

Much better
Considering also The Duke and Lady D shipping specifically because I think it would be funny.
Arguments for:
- They're the only people in the village even remotely the same size
- They do have a working relationship of some kind (I assume he sells her things but it's not technically confirmed what their deal is)
- They both appreciate fine things in a similar way, and are seemingly the only people that do
- He does think she's hot (but I mean, duh)
Arguments against:
- She's probably a lesbian. Not even just for headcanoning purposes, it just makes sense for her archetype too

Everyone is so fucking stupid. I wasn’t gonna get rage baited so I’m complaining here
Stumbled upon people with the take that theater etiquette is a bunch of stupid rules made up by rich people bc they’re no fun.
Not being rude is for rich people??
This reminds me of when you troglodytes were getting your panties in a twist over turning your phone off at the movies.
