Can we... Could we maybe focus our bioscience efforts on protecting our endangered species, which are still around, though their clocks are ticking due to our mistakes, as well as ourselves and the planet we have now?
Their time has passed as God intended; ours has yet to come. Perhaps we should apply ourselves as such?
Unsurprising behavior tbh

Would anyone be interested in my MCU Pre-Endgame merge with Transformers, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Dragon Prince, OBX, Turner and Hooch with Ranger in Time books parody main character where Captain Marvel is William Lennox(Russell Shaw)'s wife, Sarah Danvers? Were they are Shapeshifting Dog people too? And Colter and Russell Shaw from Tracker are Maria Hill's brothers?
It's Wild, my dudes. It's several kinds of fandom fiction and my autism's life work(super elaborate paracosm I've had in mind since I was seven)

Please pass this on to everyone so that they are aware of the danger. I don’t how it is all around the world but I know it can’t just be here so please please spread the word. Thank you.

My cats have this meow that means "please come with me to fix this" after which they'll lead me to the problem in question, usually a empty (or 'empty') food bowl or a closed door they want open. They look at the 'problem', they look back at me, clear message.
What fascinates me is how this illustrates what they percieve as being in the realm of my 'power.' I control the food, I control the door, sure, but my cats love to sit on the balcony in the sun, and it has happened plenty of times that on a rainy day they come get me, go to the balcony and show me... the rain. "Please fix this" they say. "Please get rid of the wet"
"Silly kitty," I say, "I can't control the rain." I then walk into the shower and turn on the rain.

Ok but can you imagine a hoard of angry children including small children going into their pre-teens kicking down the giant gong doorbell until Lyrennus hesitantly crawled out of the hollow/grotto 'keeper's secret glen' cave area to find a conglomerate of angry toddlers, children, teenagers, and parents because PRIDE PAPA ETHARI needs to come back
and the only thing that will stop them from calling for the keeper head on a platter is the whole family coming back
Do you think after Rayla ran from the New Moon ritual that Lyrennus was just chilling in the cave and just had the thought “The political blowback from this is going to ruin me”.
Like obviously we don’t know the inner workings of the Keeper position (is it purely spiritual/religious in nature or like a magistrate position) or even if they’re elected etc etc but
He essentially banished the revived Master of Blades and a presumably highly esteemed member of the community who provides weapons to what seems to be a highly thought of career and also is leader for the local Moon Cub group.
And hes done this with full knowledge that the people who actually died that night due to Rayla’s actions have moved on…….

Does SSO realize that allowing us to pay the SC price for a breed, then create our own unique horse coat to purchase, would be a better alternative? We could select individual coats for each horse from a variety of colors, patterns, markings, and manes. This approach would enable players to choose their preferred combinations instead of SSO having to individually create 6-10 coats for each breed, which might not align with player preferences.
Also, that mechanic combined with a sc price drop would probably pick up their sales so much that everyone would benefit from it. Because people can not afford to buy sc and it isn't worth buying those until double sc rolls around.
This is mainly because I don't have the sc for the criollo breed nor did I like any particular coat they designed for the breed. (Was I slightly disappointed in the coats? Yes. Am I slightly biased and displeased in the same way they didn't copy the pale palomino-gray/silver mane/gray-eyed, white blaze Breton from Horse Haven that I fell in love with as a 7-year-old? Also Yes)
[AND THEY FREAKING DID IT AGAIN]
SSO THIS IS NOT THE VIBE. THIS IS NOT CRACK-A-LACK-IN. THIS IS NOT THE WAY. THIS IS JUST LACK-IN.
What is it lacking? Yet again you've added a set of tack that can only be applied to the latest breed it came out with, yes I'm talking about the new sets that came out with the criollo

May I propose to you my au in which we throw in our ocs who became friends with the cast and also the assassins all four of them are lost in the in-between as well as lain and Tiadrin and ibis and they're brought back only for them to all be there unarmed newly brought back at the moon nexus, screw the quasar diamonds, these people deserve to live for maximum angst reasons
Ram reunites with his father the keeper and Callisto is like surprised and relieved to be alive only to turn to see his brother fuming and while Andromeda is standing there hurt and in shock at seeing Runaan there because he's with ethari and he had been around long before they were brought back
Skor stomps over to Runaan and clocks him in the face on sight because How Dare He (tm however you do it)
The assassins have such sibling energy it's uncanny
Rayla is there and she's all grown up with a human mage boy who she's engaged to and she's like WhAt ArE yOU dOinG?
And then everyone finds out that Runaan freaking killed his own team, the only other survivors of their doomed mission
And Ethari was there to watch all their lotus' sink. And to think his husband turned on the others? How could he? And again everyone blames Rayla and the blame shifts to Runaan too?
Saw a reblog that was like because they would go after Ezran next and he knew Rayla would stand in their way, and try to defend the princes and they were already upset with her and they would absolutely have hurt her. Ram and Callisto are already dead sort of because of her, could you imagine the disparity of that standoff?
Bet that this darker theory was the intent of like half the writing team but they couldn't actually confirm it to be canon because this is a kids' show and a leader turning on and killing the last remaining members of his team in what is essentially a suicide mission to end in his adoptive daughter being the sole survivor-- just ugh, love it. TDP is a masterpiece at least the fist several season, I know some people think it sort of lost it's light in the last couple seasons
Runaan's Last Secret
*smokes bubble pipe* I suppose you're wondering why I've gathered you all here today. It is simple, mes amis. We've waited six years to find out what really happened inside King Harrow's chamber the night the assassins attacked. And with the release of S7, all these long years later, I finally have the last pieces of information I need to find the full truth.
We all thought there was a murder to solve in the king's chamber. But I'm here to tell you now, that is not the case.
Let us begin at the beginning and assemble our evidence:
The night Harrow died, Runaan tried to convince Rayla to give up the egg, tried to scare her off from returning it.
Tumblr media
He couldn't sway her from her journey of redemption, though. They came to blows.
Tumblr media
But he chose his mission over killing her. He wasn't even out of breath when they stopped fighting - if he'd truly wanted her dead, she'd be dead.
Tumblr media
He left her behind and led four assassins up the front steps of the tower. There, he executed a frontal assault on the king's chamber, when they're built and trained for stealth.
Tumblr media
The fight dragged on loudly. It drew extra soldiers from around the entire castle, who left their posts unguarded. But it had a purpose.
Tumblr media
Delaying his own victory would cost lives on both sides, but clearing a path for Rayla to escape with two soft human princes in tow would ensure her survival. Runaan had already committed himself to this course when he refused to force her to complete the mission. He couldn't back out now.
Alright, that's the catch-up. For years, we had no idea what actually happened inside Harrow's chamber. But in S7, we finally got a peek. And I'm afraid it's told me everything I need to know. *more bubble pipe noises*
Let's consider these newer clues from S7:
When Runaan finally breached Harrow's door, two other assassins rushed in with him: Andromeda and Skor. Only Callisto, it seems, had fallen alongside Ram out in the hall.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Runaan drew his bow and killed Harrow - or so his binding ribbon believed -
Tumblr media
- but the next we see -only moments later as the reinforcements have not yet arrived from below - only one assassin staggered out of that chamber and onto the balcony.
Tumblr media
The other four members of the squad died in this battle, and their bodies were recovered by Viren, along with their weapons.
Tumblr media
Which means, no one else survived that room. Only Runaan.
The assassins weren't attacked by human troops, either. Runaan had time to stagger out to the balcony at his hobbled pace. No guards caught up to him until he'd already shot the shadowhawk arrow.
Tumblr media
When he burst into Harrow's chamber, this is what he was wearing.
Tumblr media
When he left it, this was all he had.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moonshadow assassins are some of the deadliest fighters in all of greater Xadia. No one survives them. No one.
No one... except Runaan of the Silvergrove.
Remember when I said we were not here to solve a murder in the king's chamber? That is because we are here to solve several murders in the king's chamber.
He turned on them.
Runaan turned on what remained of his own squad - Skor and Andromeda. He killed them. For Rayla.
They wanted Rayla dead. In the show, they believed she should die alongside them. In the novelization Book One: Moon, they specifically wanted Runaan to kill her for failing to do her duty. Either way, if any one of Runaan's squad survived and returned to the Silvergrove to report what Runaan had done - and had not done - when his mission went pear-shaped, he would've had to kill Rayla then and there. Right in front of Ethari.
And that, mes amis, he could not abide. He could not bear to be the monster he feared he had always been, right where his husband could see him.
And so, his only remaining option was for his surviving assassins to perish in battle, with their own honor intact and his in tatters. But they went down hard.
They broke Runaan's horn. They stripped off his tunic. They nearly cut his throat. They messed up his hair. Oui, the most unforgivable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They wanted to live. Runaan did not allow them to.
He trained them all. He loved them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And he killed them, to save Rayla's life.
For love of Rayla, his precious daughter, Runaan of the Silvergrove killed his own assassins.
It is no wonder he could not look Keeper Lyrennus in the eye when the man asked Runaan about his son.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's drowning in guilt. He knows what he did. Even though Ram died from another's strike, Runaan knows he would have killed him himself if he'd had to.
This image of Runaan's fear at the sight of the red spirit Lyrennus cast, it lands differently now, no?
Tumblr media
He hasn't told them. Perhaps he never will. But he has committed this sin nonetheless, and he must carry it with him for the rest of his life.
Runaan's last and darkest secret. No wonder he accepted Callum the moment he turned against Ezran and fought his own soldiers for Rayla's sake. He knows exactly what that feels like.

someone write the fic, please.
We.. We did it.
Throw in the hc, Callisto is Skor's younger brother
They're basically grieving. They're alone for now. It's the perfect time to strike. He already knows he won't survive. But Rayla must.
Runaan knows what he must do.
Runaa-..?! ..?
what are you doing..?
?!!
[Fight ensues]

If u want to write a story about a character that’s just you but hotter with a dark twisted backstory and magical powers and a pet falcon or something, I think u should just go ahead and do that. Who’s gonna stop you? The government?? Fuck the police.

HEAVY Spoilers for various seasons of TDP under cut
Unless you're ok with spoilers, recommend not reading unless you've watched through season 1-7
For those of you who are ready for this, this is long but entails my insight and surface interpretations of the tdp dads and their dad prowess.
Runaan and Ethari from what we know between the show and bloodmoon huntress actually seem like pretty ok dads if not a bit strict on Runaan's part and Ethari actually seems like a great support system dad. (THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ETHARI. Ruthari is everything to me, I shall be the first to admit I may have a bit a bias here) The whole Harrow assassination mission is a whole other story. Rayla shouldn't have been on that mission and absolutely should not have been the one in a lineup of trained assassins, the one sent after the human patrol guard Marcos alone, especially knowing this to be what would have been her first kill, not when anyone else more capable could've done it.
Avizandum seemed pretty devoted to his son (or at least the egg for him to be petrified while reaching for the spire) and based on Zubeia's parenting skills and how she handles Zym especially in the aftermath of the umber tor thing, I'd imagine they'd both do pretty well with the parenting thing together and be on much the same wavelength not unlike Runaan and Ethari.
As for Lain, there is an argument to be made as to how he and Tiadrin left Rayla to join the Dragonguard though we don't really know how one is elected to be part of the guard meant to protect the heir of the archdragon hierarchy, though it could be a number of things. There is also something to be said of the fact that Tiadrin and Lain as a pair were both chosen and based on what we know from their fight with Viren, they seem like a pretty dangerous power couple. They both seem like they really love Rayla and have(or had, I believe Rayla would have been ten or twelve when they left based on her actions and maturity in BMH) a good relationship with her also it could be waivered that in some peoples' opinions they 'abandoned' her. I wouldn't necessarily say that was the case whereas in Moonshadow society it seems like duty is something that is highly valued over personal stuff. Also, they left Rayla in the hands of Ethari knowing she'd be well taken care of. Also well protected. -> Runaan.
Then we have Aaravos... The father of a neurodivergent girl who was prematurely executed by a council of unsympathetic a-holes.
He was willing to burn the world for her even centuries later. Especially centuries later.
Next.
From what we've seen and heard of Harrow's single dad parenting and his dad jokes, and how much he was loved by and loved Callum and Ezran I think it's safe to say he was a really good dad.
Now we have Viren.
uh... willing to commit war crimes for his toddler son in order to save his life, check.
Traumatized his wife enough for her to leave him and the kids, check.(Like girl, yes you left him, but you left THEM with HIM??!!)
Blame your son for your own actions consequentially breaking up your family and highly favoring your daughter and teaching her your super frowned upon, evildoer's black death magic, check.
Have both your children grow up with a very unhealthy mentality in which they must go out of their way to win your approval otherwise, they are nothing and do nothing to heal their abandonment issues, terrible single dad-ing on your part.
Embark on a quest with an ancient evil in which you corrupt half your nation's military and lead both your children astray and destroy a nation's capital only then to traumatize and humiliate your son yet again leading to him marooning you and running off on his own to join the other team and leave the dark side, uh good on you Soren
After season 6, it seems like Viren was a father who cared about his children very much but he didn't care to become close enough with them to realize or reflect how terribly his actions had affected and shaped them throughout their lives. But yeah so Viren is terrible but second only to Karim.
Karim, who didn't even have time to be a father and still he was the worst.
Referred to the child as his heir before anything else(the first freaking time he came face to face with his pregnant wife after he was informed she was with child)
Betrayed his sister(and the whole of xadia yet again leading to his demise(finally) but not without his decision to be a jackass endangering his wife and child along with it)
Miyana knew it too. Also she had twinnnnssssieeesss
Why did they take Karim on that mission when it was apparent that if he f-ed them over this time, it would put the world on the line??? Like it's lux aurea, there isn't even one other sunfire mage they could have taken to destroy the sun ball thingy?
Never even met his children, still would have been worse than viren like how????
