Just my opinion! My take on what gods would best suit the Arcana.

Asra: Hecate

Goddess of Magic and Witchcraft

Hecate is a perfect match for our resident magician! A figure in the night, magic and mysterious with mystical power and ties to the ever-powerful Erebus and Nyx

Hecate is frequently associated with the moon, as is our silver boy (whom I personally head canon to be a moonchild)

Hecate’s sacred animal (or one of them) Is none other than the mighty snake! Faust would most certainly make an excellent servant to the revered Goddess

Nadia: Athena

Goddess of War and Wisdom

Athena makes an excellent parallel to Nadia, what with her calm, cool demeanor; she embodies the tactical, strategized warfare

Nadia is known to be an excellent ruler; wise, just, and an amazing strategist, this fits Athena’s bill perfectly.

Athena’s sacred animal is the Owl; a wise and elegant creature much like its arcana counterpart; Chandra. She certainly suits Vesuvia’s Athena.

Julian: Hades

God of Death and Wealth

Ah Hades, feared by all and beloved by few, Julian certainly fits the bill for the Lord of the Underworld. Morbid, obsessed with Death, and frequenter of the neatherrealm, Julian would make a wonderful Hades indeed.

Frequently mistaken for being the causer of death, (That’s Thanatos) Hades and Julian are two morbid peas in a dramatic pod.

Hades has often been associated with Ravens and Crows, as they were seen as bad omens and bringers of death. (as well as his sacred animals; Black Rams, Screech Owls and Snakes)

Muriel: Hephaestus

God of the Forge and Fire

Scorned since the beginning and known for lamenting his existence in solitude, Muriel makes an excellent Hephaestus; his kindness and gentle giant demeanor despite his physical state greatly parallel that of Hephaestus and the two are quite similar.

Whereas Hephaestus was thrown from Mount Olympus, Muriel was torn from his family and soon forced into the arena, and while the two aren’t particularly similar, I can’t think of a better god for our gloomy giant. (Well, I can but that’s a different pantheon)

One of Hephaestus’ sacred animals is the Guard Dog (as well as the donkey and crane) sound familiar? Inanna is an excellent guard dog and takes good care of Muriel, her moniker is more than deserving, despite her wolf status.

Portia: Hestia

Goddess of the Hearth and Domesticity

Hestia and Portia are practically twins! The hearth was the center of the home and community, and brought with it bountiful food and warmth as well as Domesticity; both of which Portia serves in spades

Hestia was a very capable Olympian while she sat upon the council, selflessly and graciously steeping down so that Dionysus could have a place in the court: she was much more content warming the fires of home.

Hestia’s sacred animal is the donkey (as it saved her chastity) but one staple of Greek life and the home is the cat! Keeping the mouse, lizard and other pests away, the Greeks certainly appreciate the pretty kitties

Lucio: Ares

God of War

Along with being a warmonger, Ares was known for his drunkenness and brutality: carrying out a torrid love affair with the lovely Aphrodite and laying waste to cities

Ares was the patron god of Sparta; a warrior city famed for its militaristic prowess and ruthlessness, it was often at odds with Athena’s city, Athens for dominance over the Greek peninsula and its surrounding territories.
