May Writing Challenge

This May I want to get back into writing. I’m not at all consistent. I’m at a point where I don’t feel like I can work on bigger things, because I can’t guarantee myself to keep working on it in a week from now. So I will take this month as a training month to get back into the habit of writing. I will do this by writing (or trying to write) 200 words every day. Topic is irrelevant. How great my writing is that day is irrelevant. Just 200 words written down. A habit taking 21 days to form was debunked, it does take a lot longer, but 31 days are a start I would say. These are already 140 words, so 200 words every day are hopefully manageable. You're more than welcome to join me if you like 😊

if kurofai actually canon or is that just something you ship?

I don’t think anything has been ‘confirmed’ for canon in regards to them, but I do think they’re as close to being canon without it being outright stated. In the recent Character Data Book, they’re relationship was described as ‘being reeeaallly good friends~ <3 ) so I think that says a lot lol

But CLAMP have a certain way of showing deep feelings between two characters and Kurogane and Fai check off all the boxes.A) Sacrificing of blood for the other person

When Kurogane offers up his blood to have Fai turned into a vampire to save his life, and thus binding the two of them together for as long as he shall live because he would be Fai’s only food source. He can never return home either, which is one thing he wants more than anything, because Fai is running from his past and won’t settle down in one place for too long. But he would follow him to Hell and back if it meant keeping him safe.

B) Loss of limbs

Kurogane willingly cuts off his own arm to save Fai’s life because he refuses to leave him behind to die. There is no hesitation, no second thoughts, just a burning desire to save the one person he cares about more than anyone else. A man who’s goal was to be the stronger than anyone, makes this sacrifice because he finally understands what True Strength is.

C) Offering up magic

Because of the sacrifice Kurogane has made to keep him alive, Fai trades away the last of his magic to Yuuko for an artificial arm to replace the one lost. Had those earlier sacrifices not been made, he wouldn’t have traded it because his magic is what keeps him alive. But after running and hating himself, wishing he could die, he’s finally ready to live, because for the first time in his life, someone actually cared about him, someone who hasn’t lied to him, or used him for their own gain. 

Not to mention this little gem here

What Fai is wearing is a Furisode, which is worn by young, unmarried women in Japan, or in this case, worn by the male lover of a warrior (like Kurogane)

This post got long lol but yeah, even if it’s never confirmed officially as canon, I feel pretty comfortable with thinking that it is

Reborn! elDLIVE Character’s 365 Profile Translation Part 1

Here comes the promised translation for Reborn! elDLIVE Character’s 365 profiles. There’s a lot of them so I split it into 2 parts. There’s actually a lot of new information for KHR universe, like TYL Flan and Shimon’s profile.

PS: Please ignore the fact that the aliens have their bithday in Gregorian calendar. They must be converting their birthday to the local calendar system when being placed in Earth. Yup. Let’s leave it at that. Just ignore the blood type

Basic timeline of K

This is a basic timeline of K’s world, incorporating information from the novels, manga as well as the anime itself. It’s heavily based upon the timeline on 2ch K threads, but I’ve made slight modifications to it.

I’ve tried to narrow certain events down to a more precise time, but watching episode 1 and paying special attention to scenes where time was displayed has revealed to me that…GoHands doesn’t really have good temporal consistency, so I’ve given up on narrowing events down to the minute. Unless of course, someone in the cast is a time lord.

Timeline of K before anime

Regarding Scepter 4, Homra, and Kuroh, starting from 1999, because Pash official timeline was very vague about this part: tossing everything in an “starting 3 years ago” box, not even in chronological order, isn’t very helpful.

This incorporated info of Side:Blue, Side:Red, Side:B&W, Lost Small World, official ss, Memory of Red, Days of Blue, Stray Dog Story, Countdown, K R:B, K: Casefiles of Blue, and K official chronicle.

I think GoRA did a pretty good job keeping the timeline consistent in different publications. Or it’s thanks to GoRA Yellow’s patching up. ;)
