"i’m not sure i’m cut out for this." at the moment she was to young to think about kids and marriage. she was just starting her career. but being around kids all day made her thankful that she wasn’t a mother. that she didn’t settle down with her high school sweetheart and have kids straight out of high school. it seemed her friends back home had decided to be moms and dads. while she decide to chase after her sister. she wonders if things would have been different had she stayed. had vince survived that night.

"so how are you doing?” she was currently sitting on the side wall trying to stay as far away from the kids as possible. she just needed two minutes. “hopefully better then me.” and if she was honest that wouldn’t be to hard. people never tell you just how exhausting caring for kids can be. she was just happy that at the end of the day she could go home.

as much as yeona loved meeting and interacting with new people, children were a whole different story. growing up alone with no younger siblings to look after, hadn't given her a lot of opportunities to experience looking after children. when she was told that she'd be spending a day with little kids, she wasn't sure how to feel about it. but being there and gaining the experience, well...

"i don't think i'm cut out for this either. i'm an only child; i don't know how to take care of young kids," yeona admitted with a heavy sigh. she leaned back against the wall, watching with a smile as the children, still energetic, ran around and played with each other. it was adorable! "i think you did a better job than me! someone had to help me calm down the kid i was looking after. how about you? have you done this kind of thing before, with siblings, nieces, nephews? you know?"

she had a party for her first mini-album and it made sense to have another one for her first full album release. her parents rented out a place for her and kami had been in charge of pulling it all together.

which was what she wanted in the end.

a few people had been invited from the industry, once she took care of the people she really wanted there, her manager had been allowed to send out invites for others. “welcome, welcome.” kami grinned as another person walked past security and into the main hub of the party. kami herself had a drink in hand as she watched the crowds reaction to her music playing, one of her favorites from the her album.

“open bar, while i am doing a bit of self-promotion, the dj takes request and there’s a table with some food, welcome to the official celebration.”

in company parties were something she was used to. if she were being honest, in company parties were something she both loved and hated in equal measure. as somewhat of a social butterfly, there was only so many people she could really introduce herself to before she practically knew people by name or association.

so cross-company parties, rare as they were, were something yeona cherished.

before she could even hear or see the venue, she was already on the heels of her feet. an energy coursing through her body as excitement took over her. the entertainment industry could be considered a small world in itself; people tended to know people, specially if they had already made a name for themselves. that was to say, the star of the event needed no introduction when her group came up to be welcomed.

"thanks for the invite, miss kami," yeona said, smiling. they were neither friends nor acquaintances; the invite probably came from her manager but it was the courteous thing to say. "you must be pretty excited for the release of your first full album! is that one of your songs playing inside?"

born in seoul but grew up in masan and considers that her hometown

wish's dance monster, usually always dancing as long as the music hits

basically lives in the dance studio at this point bc she's there almost 24/7

isn't confident abt her rapping or singing, but if she had to choose one, she'd go w rapping

a bit of a prankster and immature; usually doesn't take things seriously unless absolutely necessary
