When he glanced up at her with a smile, she couldn’t help but return a small meek smile before ducking her head down some. But, she passed it off as if she was chewing the food more. She hated when he looked at her and smiled. It made her want to wiggle in the seat but she didn’t move. But she was watching him, the smile only pulling across her lips more but hidden by her hand that covered the lower half of her face. Dark eyes watched him, and she could see a nervousness that he had that she didn’t know from what. Maybe she was being pretty slow but she just liked watching him for a moment before glancing down at the table top.
“Seem touched. Seem. Aigoo, don’t poison me, oppa.” She teased, flashing a smile towards him with a playful edge before raising her hands up above her head, to stretch the muscles in her shoulders gently before swinging her arms back down, resting them on the table top. But it was cute, that he was cutting up the apples and she felt silly for a moment as she glanced at them before back up at the male, her smile taking a slight hesitation.
“You didn’t have to do that…” The female said quietly, glancing down at the apple once more as they were slid in front of her. Picking up a piece, she put the sweet apple inside of her mouth before chewing. Always hungry… Did she seem that pathetic? She pursed her lips as she chewed and looked down at the fruit as she couldn’t help but feel silly. Was she really seen as such a pathetic person? She did live a futile life, that others were constantly giving to her because they pitied her? As she chewed, she could feel a sour feeling moving into her mouth and she couldn’t help but sigh silently to herself.
At the question of the bag, she swallowed the apple before pursing her lips. What could she say? She couldn’t say she was curious what he would like, or anything like that. That was…stupid. Wrinkling her nose some, she glanced at that bag before gesturing to it with her hand.
“Some Ahjussi gave them to me from a place I wash my clothes at…” Another pity story but she couldn’t help but make up one. He didn’t need to know that she got the street food for him. But she did continue to nibble at the fruit and motioned for him to go through the bag. She watched him out of the underneath of her blonde bangs in the hopes that…maybe, he’d like something? But what he said made her tilt her head and look at him for a moment before offering a gentle smile.
“Oh yeah?” She teased, gently picking up another piece of the fruit and nibbling on it. It was a softer tease, glad to know that she had somewhere to turn despite the fact that the comment was pretty random considering they hadn’t really spoken about anything. “What makes you say that?” Raising her eyes from the food, she ran her finger through her bangs.

( ‘ her name brought her eyes from wondering around the room, back to the male as she raised her brows some at the call. But there was tensions in it, making her head tilt somewhat to the side before hearing his words. Glancing back at the mattress, it wasn’t that she feared it wasn’t clean or anything along those lines but it was the darkest part of the room. Taking a step away from what he had said, she knew it was rude if she was to say no but she was afraid. The dark had a way of hiding monsters and she didn’t want to become a victim to them again but she was already stepping on his toes. She was frozen in fear but trying to move forward. )
( ‘ once more tearing her eyes from the corner, his words made her more fearful. Would someone really come through the window and steal her away? Fingers gripping the strap of her bag, she wanted to dismiss what he was saying with a laugh and just do what she wanted regardless but she wasn’t sure she would walk away from that group of males unscathed. But she still wasn’t moving towards the bed and the corner that was mocking her. )
( ‘ when his hand grasped her arm, YeonSang winced slightly as she let out a slightly surprised sound at the almost aggressive touch.  Stumbling, her bag dropping from the crook of her arm to her hand, she tried to catch her foot for a moment before she was on the mattress whether or not she wanted to be. Already, she could feel the defiance moving up in her system, a sneer pulling her lips and even for a moment, she humored the thought of leaving because of his actions. Feeling him shove her to the bed, she let her lips pull back in a sneer as she glared up at the male, a shout whelming up in her throat. )
Ya! Do you want to die? ( ‘ it was a harsh whisper, her eyes glaring at the male before hearing his words. Not that big of a deal. With a scoff, she glared his way. Obviously he didn’t know what this could do to a girls reputation because he was pretty dense as it was but clenching her jaw for a moment, his next words hit home. How long had it been since she had slept in a bed? Counting in her head, she heaved a sigh. Sixteen months. )
( ‘ licking her lips, she closed her eyes as she slowly begun to realize how dark it was. She could barely see Woohyun’s silhouette and as much as she wanted to reach out and tell him to stay near her, she let him go wherever. He annoyed her more than her fear. Pulling her bookbag in her lap, she rested her chin on top as she begun to unlace her shoes with an annoyed glare towards him. )

(/ clicking his tongue, he closes the distance between them with three quick strides, patience running thin, and grasps her arm and tugs her — not too gently, towards the direction of his bed. with a shove he presses her body against the mattress, stepping back as he grunts and narrows his eyes at her.) just do it. it’s not that big of a deal — besides, whens the last time you slept in a bed anyway? (/ he cocks a brow at her, inquisitive.)

She can hear the frustration the other is feeling in her tone but YeonSang can’t help but wrinkle her nose. Why was she frustrated? Shouldn’t the blue haired girl be the one that is frustrated? But she continued to jog along, trying to ignore the female trailing behind her. Was she worth that much that her grandparents had sent an agent after her? It was pathetic that the woman had acutally came out to the slums, once again, to find a runaway teen. Didn’t she know how dangerous it was out here for..well, humans? YeonSang had earned most of the mutants trust in small odd jobs but she wasn’t a bad kid, her attitude just sucked at times. It wasn’t always like this. She wasn’t always this way.
Glancing over her shoulder, her lips almost staying in a sneer with the older woman following her. Talk this out? Talk what out? Be lectured? No. She wasn’t anyones ear anymore. She wouldn’t listen and never be listened to. It was a two way street that was never fulfilled by the other  side most of the time. There were few exceptions to that rule that she hovered around but this was just another adult telling her what to do. Next thing she would know, she’d be married off to a rich family in the hopes of bringing their family back into the scene. She had cousins that needed to be married before she did but despite her looks, she was musically inclined. A piano star. And yet, here she was. Talents hidden but for once, she was happy.
She kept moving, quick and though she kept an eye out for the older woman, at a small point she just wanted to leave her in the dark. But, her conscious was calling out to her, saying she couldn’t do that. Regardless. Her breath really didn’t change throughout the trot but, glancing over her shoulder, she could see the older woman huffing and puffing. Was she a smoker? It didn’t matter, her words enraging YeonSang. What a liar. She was going to make her go back, regardless. Call the police and force her to go home where she wanted to just…hope to meet her mother again one day.
“Why won’t you leave?!” At the last plea, the girl snapped and turned quickly, instead of moving away she was moving towards the woman. “This isn’t your business, your place, Ahjumma. Get out of here. Why can’t you see that you’re not wanted?” Her voice was high, the muscles in her neck tense as she continued to advance on the woman, her walk not of a child at all.
As she neared the other, she could see there was a limp but she couldn’t help the fire that had begun to fill her chest. She didn’t want to go back, she didn’t want to leave. Why was she trying to take her somewhere where she would be unhappy? Here she was happy. Sure she was roughed up sometimes but normally she was able to get away, and just go to the spot she called home and eat another day. She had been lucky so far but with this woman here, she felt threatened. Not as if she was going to be hurt, but if she was going to be tore away from somewhere she was happy.
* not your concern,
[...]
but she would try her hardest to convince her otherwise.
"i’m not leaving you here!" the female snaps at the younger, gritting her teeth as she stumbles over fallen trash and questionable items. there’s a tinge of pain in her legs, and her feet begin to throb because three inch heeled boots are not something you should be running around in. "yeonsang-ah, please!"

( ‘ his words made her somewhat curious. What if something was to happen to her? There was no one that really would care, right? Her family saw her as just a cash cow and the few people she did know, they cared for her, right? People were hard to read for her but she couldn’t help but feel lonely at that moment of his words. It didn’t sit well with her but she didn’t bother to let it show across her face. She never really let her thoughts move over her face or control her but at that moment, her shoulders slightly slumped. )
( ‘ round eyes blinked some as she felt herself being pulled up, the orbs glancing up at him as she stumbled to her feet but nodded some. Obviously, he was tired and she felt bad. Regret pulled through her system and she probably should have just ran as long and hard as she could but here she was bothering someone else. But she could hear the men still outside, faint but they were there.  It was like monsters in the dark, waiting for her. Then it dawned on her; the room they were going into was darker than she would like. Swallowing, fear moving over her, she took a deep breath. )
( ‘ his offer of the bed brought her mind out of the almost tunnel it seemed to be encased in as the fear for the darkness consumed her. But, she quickly shook her head. ) No, No. You sleep on your bed. I have my jacket.  I can sleep near the window. (‘ could it be considered a window? She wasn’t sure but there was light there and she wasn’t amount to let him give up his bed after she already woke him. )
( ‘ slipping her arm out of his hold, she gently pushed his shoulder towards the bed as she shuffled some back. Besides, this wasn’t exactly socially correct. Both were unmarried, and he wasn’t family, and it was so late and she was here. A slight flustered expression moved over her face as she looked for a place to settle herself so that she could see the door and the light that was coming. )
( ‘ pulling her bag off of her shoulder, she heave a soft sigh as she ran fingers through her hair. Was this too much? She wanted to apologize again but he didn’t respond the last time, it would be wasted breath. Wasted emotion. )

It was a long walk to the bar from the female’s normal resting spot. But she was used to it. Any of the weight that she had in school was gone from the constant walking she had started doing. The kids used to call her fat; being she weighed only a hundred and twenty but she still had a mocking tone that followed her around. She nearly weighed a mere a hundred and eight pounds now and yet, she feared reaching that position again. Walking had also made her legs a nice shape, more athletic than they would have ever been in the school playing the large amount of sports that she did; basketball, volleyball, and swimming being a few she participated in. So this was walk, was nothing except a long moment of thinking.
Running her hand through the white bangs, her eyes shifting to look up at the mid-day sun, she was happy to be awake to a degree. She would have slept till night, since she didn’t wake up before the night on her days off. It really was a depressing thing but most of her jobs for the computer she got at night or she was able to sneak off with a wallet or two. It would be a productive night but for once, she woke up to her phone and from none other than Yongguk. Sometimes, she felt like she was a bother to him considering she was hanging around quite a bit when she was off the clock but for a small part of her liked being around him. She wasn’t sure why, considering he was just a friend right?
Sniffling lightly, she brought the jacket’s large sleeve up to brush the tip of her nose. It itched, but it also brought her eyes up. Dark orbs landed on a small stand on the side of the road, food being incased in the cheap plastic tent but there was a small stand outside selling street food. Blinking, a strange feeling came over her and kneeling down, she dug in the side of her boot until she was able to grab the small amount of dollars she had. It was the only thing she had but did Yongguk like Ddeok or The steamed bun?
Silly, she was being silly but she kept on being silly as she moved over to the stand with the few last dollars in her hands. Showing up to someones home empty handed wasn’t right, right? No. It wasn’t his house. But, it still counted right? Trying to make an excuse, she pointed to each of the items; one each, before handing the last bills of money she had for the small treats wrapped up. A small smile pulled her lips as she watched the rice cake and bun get wrapped up, slid in a small plastic bag. But she couldn’t help but squint her eyes slightly, as the male wrapped a bow around the rice cake.
“No, no. It’s ok without that.” Nodding her head politely, he gave her an odd look but took the ribbon off the rice cake before sliding it into the bag and handing it over to her. With a soft nod, and polite thank you, the female slid away and though the side of her shoe was no longer somewhat full with the money she had collected the past few days. In some ways, it was true; even though her money was gone, her heart was full. Would he like the threats? Who cared, it was just for coming there. It was specifically for him. Thoughts muddled her head as her fingers pulled at the plastic of the bag.
A good ten minutes later, the female reached the bar and knowing the doors would be open, she still chose to move through the back. She was technically a customer and call it a bad habit, but when she first started working there, it was too busy for her to get through the front door.
Moving into the building, she pulled the door to a shut behind her and pushed the hood off of her head as she glanced around for a moment. He wasn’t in the back rooms, her slim form pausing slightly as she looked inside the rooms before finally, coming to the front. There he was.
Sneaking behind him, she peered at what he was doing before smiling slightly, moving away as sneaky as a cat but he wasn’t dumb. He was aware she was there, right?
“Oppa~” She called out, moving a hand up to wave hello towards the male as she set the bag down on the counter near him. Pulling her arms out of the large jacket, she shivered once the warm ratty coat was off before moving opposite of the table from him, the jacket sitting on one of the stools.
Peering at the apples, she tilted her head curiously before reaching a pair of fingers out to grab a single slice and plopping it in her mouth.
“Annyeong~” She muttered, her hand moving to cover her mouth as she chewed and settled back in the chair with the strands of white/blue hair dancing over her eyes.

It was normal for YeonSang to be wondering around this part of the city. This was her home, since she had left the large house that had become a prison for her. The walls were a soft yellow, she could remember and the smell of burning incense that her grandmother loved so much and sometimes even fruit.  It was strange, but a feeling was in her chest, her feet swinging forward some with the bag draped from her wrist.  She never really missed the home, but she missed the feeling of having walls around her to sleep or that she wasn’t, to a certain degree, unwanted. But, she never was here and yet, she felt out of place and never truly having a destination or a home, or a solid thing to hold her down. It was as if she was lost, floating away and no one was willing to pull her to the ground and hold her there. Just to tell her it was going to be okay.
A sigh left her lips as she raised her head, the small snacks dancing by her knees as her eyes lingered on the ground for a moment. She was heading back to her resting spot under the bridge and yet, her feet kept leading her back towards the bar that she had left hours ago. It was a sign? No, no. It wasn’t. She was overthinking it. She just knew the way back to the bar with her eyes closed. Slowly, her head lifted from looking at the ground and there she saw someone she didn’t think she’d see;  Sekyung. It was pretty shocking, to see her wondering around this area and for a split second, she worried for the older womans safety before remembering their last encounter.
Quickly, she turned around and darted towards the building and slipped around the corner to get out of the eye line of the other woman. But, hearing the quickened footsteps, she knew that she had been spotted. Whining lightly to herself, she pulled the hood of her large jacket over her head before quickly slipping away from the female. Hearing her call out made the teenager sneer, her head snapping to look behind her.
“Sekyung-ssi. Go home.” She yelled over her shoulder with her footsteps quick, her eyes forward. She didn’t want to deal with the female and yet, here she was. The older woman was talking so informal to her and yet who was she to YeonSang? No one but an annoying woman who didn’t know to mind her business. She wanted to take her back to the walls that made her feel like her mother; lost, trapped, and lifeless. She didn’t want to become her mother and if she went back home, this freedom…she’d never see again. She would be giving up so much just for the happiness of others, something she had done throughout her childhood. Why should she give up the places, the smells the adventures…the people that had grown by her side throughout her rough time.
Quickly, she jogged down a row of the roughed up buildings, glancing over her shoulder and the woman was still following her. Why? Why was she bothering? The last encounter wasn’t enough for her to know that she didn’t want to go home? No, not home. Got back to that house, that family.
“Just get out of here.”
* not your concern,

she’s not too sure how long she has spent in simhan, her feet taking her to places she’s seen before on other escapades in finding yeonsang — but nothing she sees brings her closer to the girl.
…until she catches sight of hair fluttering around the corner, and suddenly sekyung is jogging, twisting around the corner as she heaves a breath, huffing lightly as she slows her pace.
"yeonsang-ah," she calls out, keeping a steady gait. "there you are."

( ' hearing her name, she lifts her head almost as a child being chided but the look quickly transforms as she looks away from the male. Little amount? This was enough for a week or so. Perhaps, she was more frugal than she thought but for a moment, she felt bad. Was it worth it? In some ways no, but in others, she could eat and bath for a day. Was that wrong? Was he...disappointed in her? )
( ' the clashing made her jump, her shoulders hunching some as she glanced towards the walls where the sounds were coming from. A seventeen year old girl trying to act like a grown up in such a world. It was almost laughable but despite the fear and the urge to step closer to the male for a sense of security, the female rolled back her shoulders and moved around the room quietly before kneeling besides a fake plant, rubbing the piece of plastic leaf between her fingers. )
( ' chills moved up her spine at his words but with her back to him, she was sure he couldn't see her expression before she let out a soft click of her tongue. Glancing over her shoulder, her arms resting on her knees, she raised her brows some. )
Aigoo...is oppa worried about me? ( ' the female teased, and though she hoped it was true, she allowed her face to pull a smirk before sliding up to her feet as another loud bang has her eyes shut close and her jaw clench. Sometimes, she wanted to go home. Be forced into the school, the clubs, and her future being laid out for her. )
I'm sorry...for waking you up... ( ' almost a childlike tone escaped her lips after a moment as she slips her hands inside the long sleeves to keep herself from nervously picking at her nails. She couldn't even look at him, her tongue snaking out to wet her lips nervously. )

( ' worried eyes flicker the way of the door once it does pull open and when they meet Woohyun, she can't help but heave a sigh of relief that he isn't too annoyed with her popping up in the middle of the night. It was one of her worries but the small moment of relief was over as the voice carried into the night and caused the females eyes to dart up and look at the area that the group of men had charged. Girl on Girl crime seemed to be a big issue and the purse that she had grabbed wasn't even expensive. Perhaps her family was full of thugs. }
{ ' feeling her arm grabbed, she stumbled slightly at the pull but her quick feet caught up and she couldn't help but heave a sigh of relief as she was inside the home. There wasn't a reason for her to, considering, they were still outside but the walls of the small home made her feel so much more secure than she had thought it would. Did they hear the door? Licking her lips, standing on her toes as she strained to hear anything, before the others voice broke the silence. }
{ ' despite her agreeing with his words, the female shrugged her thin shoulders at his words. She knew this, she didn't need him to tell her that. But she wasn't about to stop doing what did. The girl didn't the bag. Look at all the men that were willing to chase a seventeen year old girl down for it. Obviously, she had enough money or connections to get another and replace whatever was in the bag. }
{ ' turning away from the door, she pulled her bag around in front of her before pushing back the hood of the jacket to pull the small red bag out. Fake leather. Classy. Digging into the sleeve, she didn't even bother looking at anything else as she pulled the money out of the pocket. Not much, but it would be enough for awhile with what she spent money on. }
With that many men chasing after me, you think she's going to miss this? { 'Wiggling the purse in the air, she heaved a sigh. Glancing at the window, she almost wanted to toss the object outside. But would that give their location away? With that small fear, she stuck it back into old bookbag and heaved a sigh, shoving the few bills into a pocket. Another day, more food and one more visit to the bathhouse. }

Staring at the computer screen, the female couldn’t help but make a face at the codes that ran by. Some weren’t making sense and though she understood a lot of it, her head was beginning to hurt. Why did she take this job? Oh, so she could eat. It was like asking why did someone breath? Of course, she worked also and did a little sticky finger act here and there, but normally, she worked for her money. And this was another job. The library was her main source. She didn’t have a laptop and the system was easy to overturn, so it was the perfect thing. Besides, she felt more smart flashing a library card to people when she did pay for something. Yeah, reading, awesome.
Leaning back in crappy wooden chair, the snap back on backwards and hiding her blue hair, the female couldn’t help but chew on the inside of her lip frustrated. Why was this so difficult? Why did she feel so distracted today and couldn’t focus? It was normally easy but there was something different. Perhaps that for once, she was full and had actually slept in a bed the night before. For a homeless person, she was one of the most cleanly people. Thanks to public wash houses, she made sure to try and wash before she ate most of the time. It was one of her top priorities and a lot of times, she passed over food to make sure her clothes and herself were nice smelling. She never wanted to be that person that people sat next to on the bus and slowly moved away.
Bringing the water bottle up to her lips, doodles on the plastic bottle showing how long the single bottle had been in her position.  Normally, she didn’t waste money on such things so she kept one. Even a water bottle. Since she had begun to live on the streets, she learned what was important and what was not. Water bottles and stupid things, she never wasted any money. When it was in her hand, she tried to cling to it as much as possible and never waste it. She had an emergency fund that she promised never to touch if something was to go wrong, and most of the time she even forgot about it.
Glancing around boredly, she almost forgot she was in a public place. There was the boy that normally was here when she came in, a few people wondering the aisles but nothing different than the ordinary. Leaning back in the chair, she put her feet on the wall behind the table and stared at the screen before for some reason, it occurred to her. Leaning forward quickly, she begun to type and within seconds, she had broke into the security system and there was that information she had wanted. Sitting right there.
A smile pulled her face and easily, she was able to screen shot the information and forward the pages to the printer. It cost money but she was already paid half of the amount that would keep her settled for the next couple of days. Computers, she knew. They understood her and she them.  It was a strange relationship but because she understood the system, it made her feel so much more secure in herself. Something she was actually good at.

Rubbing her hands together, she soon leaned down to grab the book bag off of the ground before sliding it over her shoulders. Fixing it, she glanced around on the ground to make sure she wasn't leaving anything behind before feeling her phone once more vibrate in her back pocket.
Moving out of the tunnel, she grabbed her phone out of her back pocket and opened the small message. Chuckling lightly, she adjusted the front of the beanie on her head as she tried to look around and blinked at the light that stung her eyes. She hadn't gone to bed till the light was there because of her fear of the dark, and when she had finally passed out from exhaustion, it was nearly six am and the sun was shining under the bridge enough that she could fall asleep.
[ From: Oppa G ] [ Time : 2:46 pm ] [ SMS ] I treat my employees well [ SMS ] what are you doing right now?
Yawning softly, bringing the back of her hand to her mouth, her eyes begun to water as she walked with the phone still in hand before finally wrinkling her nose.
[ To: Oppa G ] [ Time: 2:50 ] [ SMS ] I just woke up. It's so bright. So much pain~
In reality, she was already moving towards the location of the bar cause if there was food, she was feeling slightly sick. It was a joke, the message, her humor shining through but she couldn't help but sigh gently. How pathetic was she? A baby out in the world because she wanted to get out of her home and stop going through what she had. The night that she had cute off her chocolate brown hair in the bathroom of her grandparents home, something had changed and sometimes, like now, she wasn't sure it was worth it. She'd probably be engaged now to one of their friends sons and be waiting for the wedding. Sometimes, she jumped the gun. And this was a big jump.
[ To: Oppa G ] [ Time: 2:57 ] [ SMS ] I'll be there soon.
