Last week was YaYa’s first time visiting Elevate Youth and she’s already bringing friends to Wednesday Nights. Meet Annette McDaniel (Freshman) from U.S. Grant High School. She enjoyed the experience tonight and will be back next week!

Elevate Youth is the place to be on Wednesday Nights. We are absolutely thrilled to partner with them week in and week out during the school year for Campuslife and now through the summer for SoulSeason.

Spent some time with long time Campus Life Supporter, Teacher Sponsor, & newly appointed Jefferson Middle School Football Head Coach Juan Lazono. We are excited to have him back at Jefferson and look forward to another awesome year of Campus Life. Welcome back Coach!

This morning at Redemption Church students played basketball but the highlight of the day was spending time in Gods word. The adult leaders dissected every line of the 23rd Psalms with the students to meet them where they are right now in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s one thing to hear Gods word but another to truly understand it and apply it. Thankful for any opportunity to share the gospel with our students.

Romans 8:28 -

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

‭God has a plan for all of us. We must surrender all to him so that his will can truly be done. It’s not enough to say we surrender. We must die daily to ourselves and sacrifice anything that threatens his will in our life!

It was great to see our Crooked Oak and Capitol Hill students registering for Falls Creek.

“Connecting the hearts of students to the heart of God”. So happy to have Yadira (YaYa) from our Grant Campus Life Core at Elevate Youth tonight. She’s all signed up for camp and looking forward to a jam packed summer.

Thankful for Mr. Whipkey who gave up his Saturday Morning for HopenRun Basketball. We are blessed to have educators like him who share our passion for South OKC Students.

Breaking down for a devotional w/ the students & leaders. God has called us to be an example to the men of tomorrow. Today we discussed Seeking first the “kingdom of God” (Matthew 6:33) in all things. Very excited for the potential of this new ministry.

Today was the first Open Run Basketball event at Redemption Church. We are meeting the students where they are every Saturday morning with this new ministry. Please be in prayer with us as we endeavor to reach South OKC students during the crucial summer months.

We had a great core meeting with my students from Capitol Hill high school. We had soccer training, Pizza, cupcakes, and a great Bible study.

This was our last Campus Life at Crooked Oak. Today around 10 students decided to follow Jesus by faith alone in Him. It was a glorious day!

Pastor Preston has SFS West MS Rocking and a Rolling!! This group of students have gave up their typical lunch time to join our campus life club every week this semester. Thank you for making this happen each week!
