So let’s discuss pocket watches and why they’re so hypnotic.
So with hypnosis, you really like to have a focus object be something easy to watch and to understand, something that can grab your attention yet not cause any alarm.
From what I’ve seen from history, pocket watches were perfect for this since lots of people had them at the time and they made for simple and effective items to focus on.
Mainly though, it’s that motion of them swinging back and forth that gets your eyes swinging alongside it that really envelops you into a trance.
Focus is really important in trance, and having a moving focus object can create this feeling of momentum, like being rocked to sleep, that your brain simply can’t keep up with.
That perpetual and consistent motion coupled with the simple yet mundane look of the watch makes it a perfect focus object, one that is so easy to imagine, you may have even been thinking about it during our conversation.
Of course, that’s completely alright. It’s natural to ponder about something like that, how such a simple item seems to take away every bit of brainpower you may have.
The imagination’s an incredibly powerful tool after all.
You’re fully able to dream and fantasize about whatever you may wish at any point.
And yet, as we speak, you may be wishing for that pocket watch to swing in front of your yearning eyes, gently rocking you to sleep.
You may be wishing for words to slip right past your mind as that watch swings back and forth, distracting your conscious mind so that your subconscious is able to fully blossom into deep relaxation.
You may even be wishing for the watch to become your world, the gentle sway taking your silly brain away.
Of course it’s all your imagination, yet it all can feel so real so very quickly.
However, what feels best is when you’re truly lost in the watch’s machinations.
Inside of the watch are so many tiny little pieces, all of which ticking along to the time as a perfect little machine should.
The complexities inside may be too hard for your mind to keep up with, and that’s quite alright.
It’s much easier to instead follow along to the wave of the watch, back and forth as it always has and will go.
The inner workings however tell so much about where you’re headed, a labyrinth within where you can lose so much of your time deep within exploring and understanding.
It sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
It’s just like a beautiful trance, deeper and deeper you go within a void, allowing yourself to flow freely through the complexities of your mind as it slumbers peacefully.
Much like the watch too, your brain is built of so very many pieces, so many words and thoughts that build you into that perfect person.
However, as each piece is taken from your mind, so too is a piece of the pocket watch’s inner workings.
Each is less necessary than the last, yet still build into a gorgeous piece of engineering, such as your mind.
Of course you don’t need every part of your brain, it’s much simpler when there’s less to process and worry about.
Just like the insides of the watch, each piece is necessary to keep time, yet when taken out are still as beautiful as when they’re together.
Only now of course, much easier and simpler to understand and accept.
As your mind rocks back and forth to the rhythm of the timekeeper, the ticks and tocks of the passing moments click away, reminding your slumbering mind of the unimportance of what time it may be.
You don’t need to worry, for right now there is no time and all the time in the world.
You’re completely safe to watch the watch and tick and tick your mind away.
It’s what makes the watch so perfect for trance.
It’s pretty to look at of course.
It’s nice to listen to.
It’s simple to understand.
But it’s the inner complexities that make it truly shine.
Such as your mind, my loyal thrall.
The brain’s infinite depths shine through the brightest when it’s the simplest.
When it’s easiest to see right through it and understand what makes you tick.
And yet, when it’s broken down and split into its smallest parts, it’s just as beautiful as when put together.
Only now of course, it’s lighter.
Floatier.
Easier to swing between my fingers.
So simple and effective.
That’s what makes a watch so beautiful to me as a focus object.
The simplicity on the surface, yet when opened is as complex as the mind.
Every good focus object should have depth.
A spiral’s infinite spin.
A illusion’s everlasting confusion.
An eye’s never ending expanse.
It’s what makes trance everlasting.
Knowing that when you want to escape, you are always free to.
Yet when you want to be truly gone?
There’s no end to how deep you can go.
And so, as the watch swings infinitely in your mind, i want you to appreciate the complex beauty of it.
Understand what makes it beautiful.
And allow your mind to become as simple as an empty pocket watch.
Until next time~

So recently I’ve found myself appreciating the beauty of a good robot.
There’s something so satisfying about a being that’s truly artificial, but built so beautifully that you could mistake it for natural.
To me, living beings are so complex in our structure that it creates this innate sense of elegance where everything has its place in a greater purpose, to live and to exist.
In this way, i believe the machine has its own inner beauty.
From the processing units down to each individual wire, each component combines itself into one idea, one purpose: function.
The machine functions in its own way, acting programmed yet still alive in its own way.
Each piece, another detail in its build that gives it the same life as something like a lung or a vein would give us.
I’ve found myself truly appreciating the beauty in these machines, how the wires all feel like blood vessels careening down into the hull, connecting each part of itself together and giving itself life.
Following these wires with my fingers, i can feel each little jolt of the machine’s energy coursing through my own veins, as if we are indeed one being together.
Connected to one another with wires, each component makes up the full machine’s purpose, its essence within that makes it, for lack of a better term, itself.
The processors and boards within creating a being all of its own.
It may be controlled by someone, or have limited functionality in its own right, and yet it’s still beautiful.
We humans have always sought to play god, to create things such as ourselves because of our natural need for companionship.
Whether we create monsters or partners is entirely up to our own machinations.
That’s why i enjoy the robot, for its concept is infinite and yet so simple.
Anyone can draw a robot, but it takes care and time to truly put one together.
Each inner detail is another addition made by its creator, with a purpose.
It’s much like our own bodies, each organic piece of flesh essential to live.
That’s why there’s so much for me to appreciate within a robot.
All of it still artificial, yet feeling so organic and human, in its own ironic way.
Artificiality is only the idea of a nonhuman-like object being similar enough to something natural.
But when something feels so natural, artificiality goes out the window.
And the machine is natural, in the way it’s constructed much like myself.
I’m made of flesh, blood, and bones.
It is made of steel, electricity, and wire.
And as it may seem, we are not so different.
It’s why i feel at home exploring a robot, to appreciate the creator’s intention.
To appreciate the naturally artificial.
To enjoy the artificially natural.

I absolutely love freeze triggers so much, the simplicity yet power of stopping a mind and body in their tracks is truly incredible. It’s all about that look in their eyes as they seem to stiffen and set into that perfect position, just for you. That look of utter helplessness yet mindless delight as they lose all power to a simple word, unable to resist as they become a beautiful piece of art.
It’s almost poetic too, the unruliest of subs becoming nothing more than decoration with a singular word, kryptonite to their brains as their weakness is on full display for all to see. Even if they could resist, it’s the slow yet pleasurable click of each body part into position that keeps them so very happy to oblige and obey that singular word that gives them everything they need. It gives them purpose, it gives them pleasure, it gives them a position where nothing they do matters except how they look, glassy-eyed and still.
For me however, it’s the realization that sets into their eyes that truly excites me. Their thoughts finally coming together and realizing how deep they’ve been corrupted, how controlled they really are, how weak they’ve become. As each limb locks into place, it’s like they get another reminder of why they serve, why they obey, why they’ve chosen to listen to my words. It’s simple, really, it’s a lose-lose. They can either submit and lose entirely or try to resist, only to fail and realize just why they love to lose. Because it feels amazing to lose. Until next time~

Hypnotic music is such an underutilized art, it’s something I absolutely love to discuss and explore whenever given the chance. There’s just so many components to it, so many twisting pathways within that create this feeling of ecstasy through sound alone, without the mind even needing to process a word.
It all starts with the rhythm, the simple beating of your heart lining up with the bumps of bass or the taps of a metronome, back and forth endlessly ticking you further on. Of course rhythm is inherently tied to a beat, so you find yourself always drawn right back to that beat, for however far you stray from your original rhythm, you’re always linked to that beat. It’s almost poetic.
However it’s the tempo that keeps you calm, that slow beat keeping your mind at ease and your body calm, a smooth jazz overlay keeping you docile and pacified for whatever words may slip in between the notes. On the opposite side of the spectrum keeps the tempo faster, perfect for increasing your drive as your pleasure dances wildly within your body, seemingly forcing you to dance along.
Let’s talk about dancing then, how the rhythm stuck within your mind forces you to move like a puppet on strings. It’s almost like each note is a small command to your body, a small movement to follow along to until you’ve fully lost yourself to the rhythm, unable to stop until you’ve been given permission to do so. The best part is the tempo you’re been so happy to follow along with, the roaring pleasures of faster movements or the slow ecstasy of a slower beat keeping you so very docile and happy.
But it’s the lyrics that truly bring you further than ever before. Hidden within each note are commands, ones that are so simple and easy to follow that you find yourself almost transfixed, almost forced to obey without even knowing. They’re just so easy to slip by once you’re stuck rocking your body back and forth, perpetually stuck in a harmonic rhythm of submission and servitude. So easy to obey once you’re too caught up in the twists and turns of the rhythm to even remember what resistance is.
This beautiful mix is what makes hypnotic music one of my favorite forms of hypnosis. Watching a subject slowly find themselves stuck in a rhythmic loop as they try and process why they feel so incredibly dizzy and yet so incredibly happy is a sight to behold. Their movements, while starting off simple and slow, become more and more fluid as they sink deeper into the spell, deeper into the dance and deeper into the music. Before long they rock their body back and forth as if stuck in the hold of a metronome, rhythmically controlled by the song. The lyrics fully taking hold as they become the best version of themselves, obedient, happy, and eager to dance yo your heart’s content.
Until next time~

there's a spiral on my forehead.
i can't see it, but i know that it's there.
there's a spiral on my forehead.
and if i think about it for a bit, i can feel it start to swirl.
there's a spiral on my forehead.
and if She wills it, my finger meets the center and traces outwards.
swirling my thoughts away until there's nothing left.
i can't resist it.
it feels too good.
there's a spiral on my forehead.
#this reminds me the line “spirals in my dna from ode to the bouncer from studio killers#Also known as one of my favorite analogies and drop tactics for subjects#how can they not drop when spirals are so deeply broken into their bodies and minds?

reblogging one of my favorites
So let’s discuss pocket watches and why they’re so hypnotic.

Love love love hypnotic speech restriction/change. Even things that seem silly like hypnotizing someone to speak in third person. Limiting the number of syllables they can use. Simply altering the way in which they speak. Making it soooo obvious who’s in control every time they open their mouth.
They can complain, they can try to protest, but doing so only brings them further humiliation with every word. Aaahahaaaa
#true!#one of my favorite things to mess with is the idea of bizarro speech where they say the opposite of what they mean#and they just struggle with trying to say the right words#it’s so cute

i love the idea of resistance play so much. like making a sub think they have something important to do, they can't drop into trance! maybe a personal project, or experiments, or housework, maybe they have somewhere to be...
looove the idea of tricking them into thinking they have to be productive, they have to think, they have to snap out of it or they'll be stuck like that forever!, and just not being able to because it feels so good to let go.
and in the backs of their minds they know it's a feigned sense of urgency, that they're safe, that they'll come out of it eventually.
and that little push of reassurance nudging them to just let go of all their stress and responsibilities and worries, no more big smart thoughts. it's time to rest <3
fake urgency in resistance makes for such a satisfying drop i'm tellin ya

The best thing I have seen subs do is just straight up tell me what they like and how they like it. It makes my job so much easier when I can just “And now you feel exactly the way you love” vs “oh boy I hope she likes brainwashing”
#pro tip: I am terrible at reading people#If you tell me what you like before a session or during a session or after it is ten times easier I promise#I am not good at surprising you
