Big Hair, Big Fun....I am forever exploring new art, even though I loved being a pop star in the 80′s.  It’s great to be an Icon, especially in Paris that’s why LES AUTRES SONT JALOUX.  Now I create jewelry and jewelry treasure trinket boxes, and paint on clothes, but the real fun is in buying art and shopping for Fashion Freak clothes as my friend Peter Kitsch would say.

CALVIN TURNBULL rockin’ the CASPAR INN, and also doing his magic as a sound engineer.  He is one of the great talents of Northern, CA. I am proud to say that Calvin is one of my best buds and also, has the longest hair of anyone I know.  Wiz chef Renee makes great chocolate cakes, chocolate truffles, and also braids Calvin’s hair, which is often seen in a long braid down his back.  Together this sweet couple make my Mendo daze just that much better. Living on the coast is like having one big family of happy artists.

STEVEN BATES rocks the house at a recent CD release party for his band. CASPAR INN, CASPAR, CA.

Mendocino, California is where I can write songs with friends in the USA. Calvin Turnbull is an excellent sound engineer as well as lead singer and guitar player for the SONS OF BITCHES.  They often play at the Caspar Inn, and rock the house in Northern California.  Steven Bates is another fantastic singer and guitar playing rock god. We created a few songs together and I love dancing when these guys have gigs.  THE STEVEN BATES BAND can be found at the annual Salmon Festival in Ft. Bragg,CA. They also play at Pattersons, The Heritage House, The McCallum House, and The Caspar Inn.  The Hill House is another great spot where we all get together and dance until the wee hours to the bands of Northern California. So many talented people live in Mendocino.  It ain’t Paris, but it sure is wonderful.
