i think one of the reasons im liking the ex morning so much compared to other second chance romance stories (which are usually not my thing) is that the one doing the chasing is the character who left without an explanation

like yes tam is not going at it in the best way possible (i think we all agree he should have explained himself first before starting operation: win phi back by seducing the hell out of him), but it’s still so refreshing to see considering most of the time it’s the one who’s left behind doing the heavy lifting and bending over backwards to rekindle their relationship

Dunno if you have responded to a similar question - But what do you think of MAME and her stories? She is controversial and many/most people have a love-hate relationship with her stories. What do you feel?

Oh I absolutely love Mame.

She has a wonderful grasp of character, psychology, sex, and storytelling.

I ignore negative stuff, but the mentions people have come to me with center around "This character behaved badly", and like, yeah, but I don't need fictional characters to be good people.

Love Sand, Try Me, Breath- I love how fucked up they are, I love when one breaks and the other has to face a reckoning over their behavior, and is driven insane by guilt.

Like, yes, make them suffer from the soul out- and that goes for both parties. Make the miserable one worse, make the haughty one feel disgust and shame in themselves.
