I'LL GET YOU YET ; TEASER
AN ;; Hello again! Here's that teaser I promised a couple weeks back. Would've had it up sooner but getting back into the swing of things was a little tough. Hope you enjoy đđ
Just how violent things could get here was hardly a secret. Between the countless factions that had popped up there was bound to be bloodshed. You werenât involved in the warfare, considering you werenât quite desperate nor demented enough to even think of signing on with one such group, but that still hadnât made life easy for you. Deigned to a cruddy little apartment, you couldnât count how many violent outbursts and other unfortunate happenings that had happened this month alone. While you werenât actively risking your life on a day-to-day basis, was this really much better? Much safer? Youâd been doubting that for a while, but recent events only worsened your uneasiness.Â
That day had been about as normal as it could get here. In fact you remember it being oddly quiet, though the lack of activity hadnât raised as many alarm bells as it should have. Youâd set out - armed as always and armored as sufficiently as you could manage - for a supply run. Considering it was only for one person it shouldnât have been too difficult, but finding a place that hadnât already been picked clean by scavs or other, more dangerous groups was unsurprisingly difficult.Â
Scouring maps and checking out each building youâd come across hadnât proven to be very fruitful. Just garbage and worn infrastructure, maybe a stray weapon that had been cast off in the middle of a fight (finders keepers, youâd told yourself as you cleaned off the knife and slid it into the waistband of your pants. Missing just how fresh the red staining the floor beneath it was). Nothing substantial, much to your dismay. With a light bag and a heavy heart, you ducked out the back of the building and continued on towards the next location on the route youâd marked.
On the outside it looked just as disappointing as the last few locations youâd wound up at. Decrepit, broken glass lining the front of the building, just like every other building here. Youâd taken a moment to look around, make sure there werenât any others lurking about, before quickly making your way forward and slipping into the building. The inside didnât make you any more hopeful, but considering you were already here it wouldnât hurt to look aroundâŚ

Hello again everyone! As you all have probably noticed I kind of dropped off the face of the earth - between life generally getting in the way and a few rocky patches over the past few months I kind of fell out of love with writing for a while. Though, seeing that even now my writing and other blurbs still attract attention from the community is honestly inspiring. I'm likely not going to be back to posting frequently and churning out things like I originally had, but I hope to drastically improve what I do publish.
Speaking of, there's a series that I've been meaning to rework for a long time now, and now seemed like a damn fine time to do it.
Once I have more finished I'll likely post an actual teaser, but hopefully this is good for now!

Hereâs my to-do list! The top two are ones that got sent in today, but after that warmup Iâm going to finish the other three asap! Theyâve been sitting in my doc for way too long :â)
Also the last oneâs going to be a bit of a surprise, since itâs going to include quite a few characters keeping the whole prompt a secret might be more interesting

Tiny thought since I havenât been writing much and that 2B pic I reposted is still bouncing around in my head like that one old DVD logo:
Just like,,, imagine him picking you up. Iâm thinking like full on âarms around your waist and your feet arenât touching the groundâ sort of being picked up but feel free to switch that out for whatever else.
Also imagine being pulled onto his lap and being held like that. Whether itâs in his office, your or his room, or another secluded place. His foreheadâs resting against your shoulder as a calloused hand idly runs through your hair. He sighs, arms tightening around you just a little. Itâs far from enough to hurt but you can definitely feel it.
This doesnât happen often, but itâs enough to tell you that things were a little rough today.

I feel like if Tumblr has a fair few people who are like "this is my beautiful Blorbo. I love him and he's perfect and shiny"
But then you have people like me who have some atrocity that they dragged out of a bin and are all:
"this is my blorbo. I found him in a bin eating garbage. He stinks and pees on everything and if you look at him wrong he will rip your face off. But I love him."
#reblog#madness combat#this fits a hilariously high amount of the characters and I canât deal with it

ONE - BREATHE
Sanford x GN!Reader ; Breathplay
I finally finished a prompt!! Tbh I'm not sure if it's great since this is pretty much my first time writing smut, but I think it turned out okay! Probably not going to finish this series by the end of the month, but that's okay-
Words ; 971
Sanford had always been so strong - something youâd seen him display countless times both out on missions and from the comfort of the base you all shared. Heâd accomplished things as simple as opening a particularly stubborn jar to decimating entire rooms full of agents while carrying out the orders heâd been given. Even disregarding all that, merely his appearance was enough to intimidate most people in the Nevadan wastelands. You remembered how domineering he seemed when you first joined this little rebellion. Sanford really came off as the strong and silent type (which he most definitely was, sure, but it was different when it came to you and the others), though eventually that image of him gave way to something a little softer. Even if that dangerous part of his was there, you were lucky enough to see a far different side of him. Despite his strength, Sanford was always careful with you. He didn't treat you like you were made of glass, but he sure as hell made you feel safe.Â
It was almost enough to make you forget how strong he was. Thatâs okay, though. He had plenty of ways to remind you. Like now, for exampleâŚ
A low groan left the bruiser as he pushed into you again, the sound of skin-on skin filling the room as he set a hard yet slow pace. Normally by now youâd be a mess, moaning and writhing underneath him, but the large, firm hand closed around your neck only allowed for soft whimpers and choked whines to leave you as you helplessly lied there. The pressure on your throat wasnât painful or meant to bruise (though you knew it would, the faint purple marks decorating the sides of your neck would be a wonderful reminder for you both the next morning) but enough for it to have an effect on you. Enough to make you feel just a little lightheaded, the floaty feeling only serving to amplify the other sensations.Â
âDoinâ so well for meâŚâ Sanford breathed, face flushed a deep red as he bottomed out in you again. Even if he wasnât the most vocal it was still easy to see that he was in the same boat as you; the way his ears flushed the same red on his cheeks, how his grip on your thigh would flex and tighten when something felt particularly pleasurable. Normally heâd have both hands at your waist, the aforementioned bruises showing up there as well, but despite how needy he was getting for you it was far from being enough for him to get careless. His strength was seriously no joke, and heâd hate for this experience to take a turn for the worse if he were to squeeze a little too hard.Â
Another pitiful sound left you as he picked up the pace. One hand gripped at the bedsheets while the other closed around his wrist, the gentle pressure was enough to catch his attention. While he didnât slow down or stop yet, youâd definitely gotten his attention. Giving him a shaky smile, you squeezed his wrist again. âHarder.â That command made him smirk a little wider, fingers tightening around your neck again as he did just that. Your head rolled back as Sanford angled his hips to hit that one spot inside you, babbling as he abused it with every thrust. If you werenât close before then you certainly were now - that familiar tightness knotting up just below your stomach, blood rushing in your ears as he pushed you closer and closer to the edge. From the looks of it he wasnât too far behind you either, not with the way he was slowly getting louder. Not by much, but to you it certainly was noticeable.Â
A shriek left you as you came, fingers digging into whatever you could get ahold of as you trembled underneath him. It didnât take too much longer for the overstimulation to kick in, whining but doing nothing to fight as he kept thrusting into you. âF-fuck, Sanford-â Another soft cry cut you off, vision going slightly blurry as your eyes began to water. While you couldnât see him from this angle, the way his thrusts were getting sloppy was enough of a heads-up that he was about to cum. Sanfordâs fingers twitched against your pulse as he spilled inside you, a stifled groan leaving him as his hips jerked a few more times.Â
Both of you were panting as you came down from your respective highs. His fingers loosened around your neck and thigh as you eased up your grip on his wrist, feeling his larger body shift above you. Lips pressed against your jaw and slowly trailed down, the ticklish feeling making you giggle as you tucked your head down. You met his eyes with a soft grin - he was smiling back at you, subtly checking you over to make sure you were alright. âWas that okayâŚ?â The question drew a little snort from you, leaning forward a little to press your forehead against his. ââOkayâ? It was great, your dork. You did fine, especially since weâve never done that before.â His expression turned a little more sheepish at that, chuckling softly as he sat up and pulled you into his lap. You two sat there for a good while, feeling his fingers tracing patterns into your back. It was easy to relax, eyes getting a little heavy as you slumped against him. A nap sounded nice right about nowâŚ
Smack!
You squealed at the sting against your ass, jolting up in surprise as Sanford laughed at your reaction. He scooted to the edge of the bed before standing up, ignoring your protests as he headed towards the bathroom. âSave the nap for later, letâs go get you cleaned up.â

Hey all! So sorry for the lack of posting fic-wise. It's been a bit of a rough week and I haven't been able to write as much as I wanted to. A lot of the stuff I had coming is WIP (reqs, the revise + chapter 2 of 'I'll Get You Yet', and a couple other things) but I managed to find this thing I wrote a while back! It's an oc fic so not everyone might be into it, but for those who do read I hope you like it! This is just the intro, possibly more to come later
âSo, what does this job entail again?âÂ
Sharp blue eyes stared down her soon-to-be boss - theyâd worked together in the past, sheâd never had a problem with him and the same likely went for his attitude towards her. If that werenât true then she wouldnât have been called here in the first place. No matter how decent of a reputation a mercenary had regarding their work, a good rapport was always preferable when it came to more important jobs like this. Any ragtag group could rush a bandit camp or sway a fight over resources, but this particular task seemed a little more delicate than that. Knowing Doc, he had a reason for picking her specifically. AlthoughâŚ
Those same eyes flicked down towards the desk, looking over the two files open before her. Apparently these would be the people sheâd be working with should she take the job. Frankly she was a little hesitant to accept solely because of that. It wasnât an ego thing, she knew how crucial working in a group could be, but it was easier to rely on her own skills. That way no one else fucked you over, there was no chance of clashing with anyone else if you were the entire team. Sure, it could make things a little more difficult, but sheâd pulled through bleaker scenarios and was still standing. âYou know Iâm not the best when it comes to working with others. Too messy.â Something akin to a chuckle left the masked man across from her. âFunny, thatâs basically what both of them said when I paired them up initially.â It didnât sound unlikely, plus he was never one to lie, but putting herself in either oneâs shoes didnât bring a picture with a happy ending. Best case scenario, they managed to get the job done with everyone alive. And the worst? Well, it wasnât hard to picture various ways something could go wrong, but someone (if not all of them) would end up dead. âTheyâre reliable, Hel. Just play it cool and youâll pull through. You all will.â For some reason that emphasis didnât make her feel any better. Her lips pursed behind the thick red scarf pulled over the lower half of her face as she considered it.Â
If it were anyone else she wouldâve shot down the job entirely, but considering their history it wasnât as easy to do that. âI⌠Iâm unsure. Wouldnât it be less complicated to not throw another person in the mix? If they work so well together, then-â A raised hand cut her off, whatever argument she was going to pose dying on her tongue. Even from behind those goggles he wore it was easy to feel how stern his gaze was. That was more than enough to tell her that he meant business about this. âThis needs to be a fast job. While they both work well together, getting too caught up fighting whatever the agency throws at them could end up ruining the mission entirely.â Reclining in his seat, the masked man folded his hands behind his head. âThatâs where you come in. Youâve got a tendency to work through things quickly, so youâll basically be clearing the way for them. Handling the ones that are easy to pick off and any stragglers that might come after them. Easy enough, right?â He did have a point there - if it was just clearing out any trouble that might hold them up then this mission would be a cakewalk. Hel gave a curt nod in response. âThat sounds acceptable.â Even if she wasnât fully comfortable with the idea it sounded like sheâd mainly be working on her own anyways. Even if it sounded a little conceited or âstuck upâ as some might say, doing the job herself always yielded better results. Working with others was often too messy, she left the jobs that absolutely needed multiple to those already in established groups or the ones who were too dumb to jump in with others they hardly knew.Â
Something that she was kind of doing now, wasnât she?
âYou know, for someone who hides half their face, youâre surprisingly easy to read.â That comment snapped her out of it. With a sigh, Doc continued. âLook. I wouldnât be asking this if it wasnât serious, and I wouldnât be asking you if I wasnât confident in your abilities. If you really want a motivator, just take this as the payback for that little favor I did for you a while ago.â Something in her eyes sharpened at that comment. She knew exactly what he was talking about - personally she didnât think that a single request like this would ever repay what heâd dug up for her, but if he felt it was an adequate trade? Good enough for her.Â
âVery well.â Hel stood up from the seat across from him. âIâll meet them inside, need to scope out the place a little. Getting a head start on clearing out any trouble might not hurt, eitherâŚâ She thought aloud. It could all be figured out later, though. From the looks of things sheâd have a day or two to prepare. Hel picked up a copy of the briefing, skimming it over before closing the folder and tucking it under her arm. âJust donât be too hard on them, alright? Who knows, maybe they might grow on you.â For once she smiled, just a little hint of one. The thought was an amusing one, nice even, but she highly doubted that happening. âItâll be a cold day in Nevada when that happens, Doc.â Giving a little wave over her shoulder, Hel walked through the door and shut it behind her. Even if the whole âworking with people you barely knowâ wasnât the most appealing thing in the world, sheâd get it done. If what he said back there was true then neither of them should be a problem. She hoped not, anyways⌠What she hadnât seen, though, was the spark of amusement behind those red-tinted goggles. Heâd neglected to tell her that, while it hadnât been said verbatim, had basically come out of the pairâs lips when regarding the other. At first theyâd absolutely hated each other, the only reason why they hadnât fought a handful of times was because they were too busy taking out who they were assigned to or they were too tired after the mission. Now things were different, of course, but seeing the parallels in how Hel reacted? He had a feeling that she was going to be wrong about that statement.
