Quick update:

Sorry for being AWOL lately - I’ve been making a huge financial decision in my life that has taken up all my free time and my money, and haven’t had the energy to get on tumblr every day after work. My grandma passed last week, as well, and my motivation to do anything went out the window even further. 

I’ve been slacking on advertising, and I’m super sorry about that. I know it’s finals and graduation for a lot of people, so I will make sure to advertise and update this weekend. 

Would anyone be interested in doing a secret santa / gift fic thing? We’ve done them in the past, but it’s been a long ass time and it might be fun if people are interested in doing it again. Yes. I know it’s May.

A fan launched a petition to ask DC Comics to revive the Young Justice comic book!

AND MANY MORE MAIN CHARACTERS. We’re the longest running YJ Roleplay group and after a brief hiatus we’ve done a total reset of our characters. There is no better time to apply! We’re starting at square 1, a few months out from the end of Season 2.

Hello! I'm new to the YJ fandom and am interested in picking up Jaime Reyes. How active is this group? And do any of your members roleplay with faceclaims or gifs/icons?

Hi! Some of our members are more active than others, depending on if they are in school or have work or what not. Some of us are on for hours in a day, some more like a few hours every week. As for faceclaims...we don’t really do much with them. People have them and may sometimes reblog them for fun but we don’t usually insert them into our paragraph RPs. I’d say that 95% of the RPs are paragraph. The other 5% is maybe like chat/text message, gif rps. We don’t discourage or disallow them, it’s just what the group has mostly aligned to.

Hey YJ Fam, I gotta favor to ask

Today’s gonna be a big day for us. This is the biggest ray of hope we’ve had in three years that this show we all love so much might finally come back. And while we’re raising the armies and powering through to bring back our show, I want to ask for one little thing. 

I’m asking for ten seconds of your day. Whether it’s as you’re booting up Netflix to binge Young Justice, or logging into twitter to trend the hashtag, I’m asking you to take ten seconds to search “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” on Netflix.

Nothing will happen. Not immediately. But Netflix has a ream of DC content, and if they receive interest in GLTAS, we might just get it on there also. The GLTAS fandom were our allies and supporters as we both faced the cancellations of our shows. They helped us, and we them, in our movements to try and save our shows. 

Not to use that obligatory cheesy statement, but we had Symbiosi. 

So, I ask my fellow YJ followers, as we work our way through this day, as we work with this strong hope that YJ may actually come back, I ask that you all remember GLTAS and it’s fandom, and do this tiny little thing, to help them out too.

Now, for those who weren’t present during our original twitter trend attempts, there are a few things to keep in mind:

Make sure to @netflix in your tweet; it’s crucial so that, even if we don’t manage to trend, we can still make a dent in their notifications.

Only use one hashtag per tweet. If you add more hashtags, it won’t count towards the trend.

Tweet as much as you can! Let’s try to get a worldwide trend again.

Be courteous. Should go without saying, but just in case, this isn’t CN that we’re messaging, this is Netflix, and we need them to like us.
