I lately started to play Bug fables, and I love the game so far!! (Kabbu, my Favorite)

Sorry I was not posting for a while. I bearly been on here due to artfight, and such. But I’m starting to be more free now! :)

Just a quick doodle of my girl Macaroni! I have had her as a character in my head for a long time, but I never actually drew her, or gave her lore.

But me and some friends finally came up with some story and now she’s an actual character!

Macaroni (a spider?)

She/her

A tiny spidering from the Beasts den who for some reason hasn’t an aged day. it doesn’t seem like she’s under any type of spell though, and doesn’t seem upset about it. She Clueless about a lot of things, and before seeing outside of the of the DeepNest she thought the world was just that. Named Macaroni by the spiders but also called Marcy for short, she has now become alone little Weaverling within the environment of the dark Caves… but… something is off? Is she really what she seems?

I introduced them in art fight this year, so I think it’s time… to meet some actual hollow knight OCs! (We don’t count Siphon because he’s technically Canon)

The two bugs who are both “native” to HallowNest (native as in they both were hatched in the kingdom).. who now explore the ruins together of the kingdom because they have not been that far away from their home town’s/city’s. Both learning more about one another and ruins of the kingdom.

Bit (June Beetle/June Bug)

He/him

A Bug who is from the wealthier side of the City. surprisingly still alive due to how long ago the city fell into disrepair.. and how June beetles are known to normally be kind of clumsy and not pick up weapons.. his nail doesn’t look like it was meant for him, more like something he found in the decided to use because it was the closest thing to defend himself.

As well, caring enchanted HallowNest seal that was made for him.. is he trying to hide something? Is it dangerous?.. He seems to have a lot of mysteries to him.

Orcheola (Mantis?.. Vessel??.. wyrm?)

She/they

A member of the mantis tribe. taught to how to fight with pride and honor from a young age. In the beginning, wandering near the edges of the tribes territory, making sure no one passes through.. acting as a guard. Until meeting a certain city bug.. becoming friends.

She seems to be very close with the Mantis Lords… wondering why that is.. (thank you to Sam who writes lore and mostly uses this OC)

“My third uncle used to possess similar abilities. He also possessed a ferocious temper! Ohohoho! What a dreadful combination.” So desolate dive is NOT soul masters spell or not something Siphon gave him.. he just took it.

Damn soul mater, stealing shaman magic?!

Kind of a doodle but still, Siphon didn’t like soul mater at all… and I don’t think him taking his magic helped with that… I don’t know what to say much, but the fact that Siphon is the original owner of the dive spell.

I actually did something like this as well! To think all Deepnest spiders have dark vision or something like that, and the eyes look different in the dark. like how midwife has more white eyes and the Weaver we see has white eyes as well, but all the spider corpses have dark eyes (for some reason??).

Wolfspiders have reflective eyes so what if menacing hornet eyeshine

”Siphon” as I like to call him. is my favorite shaman in the game, and I was so touched to see someone else drawing him like how I drew him!

After last time drawing the soul sanctum snail (Siphon) I decided, why not draw all the snails! And give them names! Add them a little character. Like a nice family tree, snail family!

Reference from the actual game… except they’re not really dead… sooo- um

Family tree already in the game has my brain dead, so I’m gonna try to explain this. Shaman and Hanna are cousins(?) Jemmi is the 3rd aunt what makes Siphon (the 3rd uncle) siblings with Jemmi.. and I have no idea where the old snail Ancit would fit.. maybe they’re an elder. I also just wanted to give some of them nice clothes because I feel like it would fit, also this time I played more with the colors and design.

(The drawing of Siphon in this is away before soul master and so on. And for design reasons, they’re all alive in this.)

The snail Shamans are something I always thought of as the “first spellcasters” of the world in hollow knight. I wish we would have more info about them. So what better away to cope with this then trun one of the snail that’s dead into alive character instead!

That me and my friend nicknamed Siphon.. also who is my favorite snail in the game. Aka the “3rd uncle” of the Snail shaman we actually meet!

The basic idea is instead of him exploding while screaming he falls into the floor and when coming back into the room he’s gone.. and has done his best to leave Soul sanctum. Due to what happened back there, he wouldn’t have enough of anything left to cast spells or even heal with “soul magic” as I have been gotten use to call it. (He would probably have massive beef with Soul master.)

He wouldn’t exactly be rude, just upset about what happened to him… I mean how would you feel if you had magic but then the guy who wanted to work with you hit you in the head and took it all from you… and you woke up 100 or so years later. (Small edit added after more snails were drawn)

Sorry if this is a bit out of pocket from my 2 first hollow knight post, I just felt confident enough to post this.

Little Ghost is about to die again. This is just a quick doodle that came across my mind.

So trun’s out some spiders are very territorial and sometimes will even attack other spiders for territory reasons… I wonder if this explains some points on hornet.

I’m just imagining Hornet telling some poor random bug to get out who just got NEAR Hallownest.

This is bit of a dark joke. So someone on here posted about they realize how Greenpath vessel died, and to similar fashion how the Hollow knight stabs themselves… they did the same. Also I feel like it’s about time I post hollow knight stuff.
