ㅤㅤJokes asides, it was always amazing at how easily Sanson made every moment so sentimental and as usual, Ritsuka found himself swayed by his romantic words.

ㅤㅤHe reciprocated the affection and pulled himself closer to Sanson with a bashful laugh. " That sure sounds fun ... but not like we have much places to sneak off to around here so the medical office will have to do for now. " He momentarily released his hand to pull up a chair next to Sanson before he comfortably leaned his head against the other's side.

ㅤㅤ" What are you doing anyways ? " He found himself peering a bit over Sanson's shoulder.

"Of course I would. If I couldn't sense you were near then I would have to question my skill as an assassin. I can't have someone like Mozart come around and simply kidnap you and your time away while i'm not looking."

Maybe it's also because he felt protective when it came to the musician- but most know already that Sanson could never ignore Ritsuka's presence even if he tried.

"A surprise?" He chuckled, it's like a cold frost melting away at the sight of the warm sun against the glass pane. "Your surprises are always welcomed, mon amour. Even if I seem busy, I would come by and take us somewhere else to enjoy some peace and quiet together if sneaking away was as easy as this." He says with a squeeze of his hand.

' pfft . ' had ritsuka wanted him to be earnest , then he would've said that he took the other for someone who'd throw a little bit more of an entertaining fit of outrage --- but maybe the mood just wasn't there .

' was it that serious ? ' his hands shift from the depths of his pockets to across his chest . ' asking someone like me for forgiveness is asking the wrong servant . you're gonna need a saint for that ... or at least one of those creepy priests . ' y'know the ones .

kadoc grabs ritsuka by the shirt and——just pulls him into a hug. just a quiet, long hug.

ㅤㅤRITSUKA honestly braced himself for another scolding or even a playful whack for his reckless behaviour or even his silly antics but he suddenly froze as he felt Kadoc's arms wrap around him.

ㅤㅤHe lingered in shock for a moment, as if unsure how to react to such a sentimental embrace but slowly but surely, he brought his own arms up to gently reciprocate the affection. Somehow ... it felt like he's been waiting a long time for this but ... why did it feel a bit painful in some way ? Just what was he thinking ... ?

ㅤㅤA tender smile took his lips.

ㅤㅤ" ... What's wrong ? You're not usually like this. " He spoke softly as he closed his eyes and rested his head against Kadoc's shoulder. He felt himself tightening his grip slightly ... as if he didn't want to let go either.
