Well, he doesn't actually have a birth date yk? (at least, not confirmed); but Disney established September 5th to be "Lightning McQueen day" (made to promote the cars franchise), so the fandom celebrate this day, and a part of the fans headcanon his birthday being on this day as well.

However, other people headcanon his birthday being on April 7th (based on a official book called Disneystrology, there's a blog about it in here iirc), and another people headcanon it on a different date.

(hope ive made this understandable enough, english is not my first language 💔)
