I read this fic for the first time tonight, and it’s both interesting and just achingly sweet. There’s sibling rivalry, but shot through with acceptance and support on Mycroft’s part, some really fun pettiness on Sherlock’s (although as with siblings, it’s not so petty and is pretty formative to his character, I think) and just everything about sibling love that you can enjoy.

Also there is sex, so if Holmescest isn’t your thing, maybe best to keep scrolling. It’s rather well-written sex, but in a subtle, soft-lit way that really fits the tone of the story. If Holmescest is your thing or you’re just open to the possibility, do give it a read - it’s short, very sweet, and left me smiling fondly to myself.

I'm trying to find a fic! I think it was set in the 50s in Liverpool, and I remember a bit where John gets Paul all hot and bothered in the pub bathroom, then they go back to one of their houses and start fooling around and John teases Paul because Paul is still worked up and John barely touches him before he comes. I think it was a longer fic about the start of their relationship. Pretty sure it was on AO3.
