TRANSRACIAL TIPS

1. Research about culture and history. It's really important that you know your country's history, traditions, war, beliefs etc. as transchinese myself, there's lots of things to research and learn about because china has a history worth of 5000 years, so there's always something new for me to learn about !! also traditions are very important to know, for china it would be eating dumplings during the winter solstice, Chinese new year, Dragon Boat Festival, celebrating two birthdays and so much more !!

2. Holidays, are as important as traditions, i think i could actually intertwine both of these. Celebrate your transcountry holiday as if it was your own (it is in fact) for example, in China they have qingming festival, it is a time to commemorate and honor family heritage. Respecting parents and ancestors is very important in Chinese culture, that's why during qingming chinese people visit their loved ones on cemetries

3. Consume the media from your transcountry, for example i have rednote (xiaohongshu) which is a chinese app, it works the same as TikTok !! Other chinese apps I have are WeChat and BiliBili, you shoukd try finding apps like these from your own country or make a new account (for example) on instagram and change your location to your transcountry !! That's how you also may make friends with people from your transcountry

4. Try learning the language, i do realize it might be a bit challenge but you should kind of sacrifice yourself for your goal, i spend 30 minutes everyday learning chinese, and take some of my free time learning about culture and history, it's really that you know at least how to say "good morning my name _____"

5. Another important thing is cultural clothing and fashion in general. Research about what's popular in your transcountry right now, then if you have money buy the same things !! Research about cultural clothing, maybe buy one for yourself ;3

6. other things you may wanna try out are trends, music, makeup, try looking up celebrities from your transcountry, etc
