My roommate and his girlfriend got in the shower together and they’re… Talking about politics?
I was expecting to hear “OH GOD, HARDER,” not “George Washington was entirely correct in his prediction of what distinct parties would do to politics as a whole.”

Susie is a Horse (Deltarune Theory)
I may be seen as a crazed lunatic. That's fine. I will accept that title in exchange for my dignity. HOWEVER!!!! I have come upon the realest of realizations EVER. I cannot stand for the world to not know of my brilliant theory. This needs to be screamed from the balconies.
As the title suggests, yes, Susie from hit game Deltarune is, in fact, a horse.
You might be thinking, "Star, you crazed lunatic, the description for the Mane Ax clearly implies Susie is a dragon!" as stated here:
You might be thinking, "Star, you crazed lunatic, Gerson clearly calls Susie 'the dragon'" as seen here:
To this, I laugh at you. Chortle at your ignorant bliss. Dear reader who has been fortunate enough to stumble upon this, that is simply the counter argument. The true evidence has only just begun. My proof is in the pudding, and that pudding is filled with hay.
Additionally, cowgirl Susie. I couldn't figure out a better way to fit this image in but it's relevant to the topic at hand.
Evidence 1: Why the Long Face?
Susie has a long face. You know what else has a long face? Horse. She also has a snout!
In this next picture is Toby's concept for Susie's silent expression. Compare this to a horse.
See? The vibes. The vibes are the exact same.
Evidence 2: Mane
Seeing as I have already given the text where Susie's mane axe is mentioned, I will not include it again. I hope you understand.
Horses have manes! Like Susie's hair! Dear reader, I know what you're thinking, "Star, what the heck, it CLEARLY says DRAGON'S mane," and to that, my giggling volume increases by .15 decibels. Lest we forget the fact that most dragons do not have manes, as they are more reptilian than mammalian? Except some Asian dragons. But that's okay, because I think the masses believe Susie to instead be of European dragon descent. The argument is invalid, though, due to Susie being a horse.
Evidence 3: Tail
Susie has a tail! It is mentioned in her interaction with Noelle on the ferris wheel primarily, as seen here:
And, yes, horse tails do wag to express emotions, such as excitement. Lizard tails do also wag, but in most cases, it is used as a defense mechanism to distract predators. Susie does not see Noelle as a predator, so we can safely assume that it is a happy wag!
As a note, before doing my research, I did think Susie had a dragon tail in her sprites, but, she does not have a tail featured in any of her sprites. Mandela's Susie tail, I suppose.
Evidence 4: Hay
Susie eats hay, or at least, she THINKS she's going to eat hay, as seen here:
Also, in chapter 4, when speaking to Alphys about the shelter, this dialogue comes up:
Need I say more? The evidence ever-so-clearly speaks for itself.
Evidence 5: Apples
Another common horse food is apples. We know that Susie likes apples from the Spamton Sweepstakes link, https://deltarune.com/the_n3w3st_g1rl_g1rl/.
Again, need I say more?
Evidence 6: . . .
Now, this may make or break my theory for you. It might make you fully believe that I am correct, or that I am wrong and my theory is to be banned to the shadow realm that is the deepest darkest pits of agony.
But you, dear reader, haven't read this far for nothing. My ultimate connection will be presented before you, and I am afraid that this may change the entire path of your life. My apologies.
We're pals, aren't we?
Do you trust me?
The Real Evidence 6
There are very few prominent characters in both Deltarune and Undertale with relatively common English names. Susie is one of them. The others include Gerson and Alvin, who are turtles (which Susie definitely is not given she does not have a shell) and one more character. You might know who I'm talking about (I'm not talking about Jerry. Jerry has never counted for anything ever. I will pound you into the snow, Jerry.) (Glyde also doesn't count on account of being a Kickstarter character and not made by Toby Fox.)
And this character is...
Yeah.
You heard me.
Aaron.
And you know what animal (half of) Aaron is?
That's right.
Horse.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Susie is, in fact a horse. Thank you for reading, my dear reader. I hope you agree with my stance, and if not, you will be trampled by the stampede of horses heading in your general direction in approximately 14.7 hours after the time of reading this post. Lest the horses haunt you, I hope you will see the light of truth from the knowledge bestowed upon you.
Thank you, and good night.

this is the dream fyi
"wealth" means different things to different people. for me it means being able to live quietly and comfortably, adopt a pet, donate to charities I care about, be able to take care of myself in my old age, and eventually leave an inheritance to my loved ones, who will then be forced by the stipulations of my will to be locked at midnight in a Mystery Mansion and solve an elaborate series of puzzles while being mysteriously killed off one by one. and i don't think that's so much to ask
#definitely leaving some nasty provisions in my will#even if i never get any kind of wealth#ill still throw some bullshit in there#and hopefully ill take some fuckers with me#idk i hate tagging

wait this is actually kinda interesting. i will say that spamton DOES seem to have a unique leitmotif:
(sheet music from the deltarune wiki)
That being said, this leitmotif is used in one non-Spamton song; namely, Catswing, the song used for the Mike battle. Therefore, it could be argued that he shares this with the Mikes. For the sake of this post, I'll give it that. Spoilers for Chapter Four ahead.
The reason I'm giving it that is to move forward to my other point: the Chapter Four Secret Boss, Gerson Boom, also lacks any original leitmotifs of his own, with his songs mostly using Undyne's theme (or a variation thereof) and the Ruins theme from Undertale. Hammer of Justice also uses the secret boss leitmotif and one (1) leitmotif that seems unique to Gerson (albeit borrowing slightly from Undyne), which could easily be disproved in a future chapter as an Alvin theme or something.
Maybe this is another thread for the secret bosses? Or maybe we're taking the piss and Spamton and Gerson both actually have unique leitmotifs.
All the way back when chapter 2 came out, I mentioned in a post that Jevil has very few if not NO unique motifs in his two songs. All the motifs in his songs are either related to the secret bosses, or just deltarune in general. (The only one that I cant seem to place on another character is the first motif in TWR, that MIGHT be just Jevils and no one elses.)
With the release of chapter 3, it seems this might be true for Spamton as well...? All his songs have motifs sourced from different characters. I cant really think of any that are original to him that he doesnt share with anyone else, especially Tennas motifs.
Now, Tenna could very well have stolen SPAMTONS motifs rather than the other way around, but I think its more interesting and likely that Spamton is using motifs that belong to Tenna (or Mike, or just anyone else). It fits in with his whole concept as a scummy malware trying to present as friendly. Not only that, but Spamton has always been a cobbled together mishmash of other people's traits because he hates his own nearly-nonexistent identity that much.
I think it's really cool that he has nearly no songs to call his own. He's warped and changed his identity so much he barely HAS one anymore. It is an interesting parallel to Jevil, another who has no motifs, and one he despises and wants to avoid ending up like at all costs.

the struggle with running an rp gimmick blog is that im actively obsessed with making it as accurate as possible. that means not only am i cross-referencing everything i say with actual lines of dialogue, but im also constantly checking to make sure i don't say anything that contradicts canon.
and not as in, "oh, let me make sure this hasn't been addressed yet." no i am also keeping an eye on future canon. that means im not actually providing any new information.
ive made more than four hundred posts so far without saying anything. should i go into politics or what?
#rp blogs#it's a stressful life#this may not surprise you but it is#deltarune rp#no i wont tell you which one#i dont want to break the immersion#i want it to seem like toby fox himself runs it#so i will not be taking credit for it#but i am fucking exhausted#and exhilarated#i love it#idk i hate tagging
