I am officially…

Bored and tired. I am.

No more shipping for me as I have decided to accept what is presented to us as true. I have decided to accept that it was a game for the last two years and that SC are doing what they think best for themselves and their careers. They are adults… *I am doing this against the best judgement of my inquisitive mind* but I don’t think I care.

S and C are very talented and will probably be fine. However, I don’t think I can trust the leads of the show and the authenticity of their interactions. I have lost interest in them and their choices.

I refuse to promote a show whose production, some cast members and adjacents bully and harass young women and then claim to support women’s rights. I refuse to support Starz, which now happens to have an interest in harassment issues but still implicitly??? allows for the bullying of the very same fans who pay their subscriptions.

I despise fans who believe they are superior to others and mock and (the horror) think it is funny to compare shippers to Nazis. Do you know why they think it is funny? Because they are self-centered *fill in the blank here* who believe that Nazis were TV/film villans or because they have never lived at war or just cannot empathize with those who have suffered in their own flesh the hardship and tragedy of war and genocide.

I still like JC story but I have my doubts regarding where the show will be going from now. And there are still many months of droughtlander ahead.

In short, I cannot pretend all this is not happening. I cannot unsee this. I respect and support those who have decided to stay though. We are all different and we know our own limits. Maybe I am too thin-skinned for this. So be it.

Don't forget that people have been receiving weird marketing questions. I can only think of the one that mention Sam's 'mesmerising charisma' (that certainly raised a few eye brows) but I think there were also questions about whether there people would still watch if either Cait or Sam left the show. Given the Optimun dispute (and rare fact that more money seems to have been spent promoting this rather than S3) who knows what's really) going on.
