He then proceeds to bow respectfully as he continues in a formal tone, all while trying to dampen his own imposing aura. "My apologies. I will make clear now that, despite being a Youmu myself, I have no intention of becoming your enemy, Nase Hiroomi-san. In fact, quite the opposite. I merely wish to maintain the balance between the worlds as much as your fellow clansmen."

He then rises from the bow with a long sigh, his cyan eyes bordering on true neutrality. "In fact, I have tried to obtain an audience with your older sister to discuss an alliance of sorts, but I have yet to actually succeed... Oh, by the way, the name's Sever Dolorum. It is a pleasure to meet you, and I hope the sentiment is returned as well."

Sever lets out a deep sigh as he strokes Asami's hair as if she were a kitten. "You seem to still be misunderstanding my words, but I am not going to bother correcting you any further. Nevertheless, I am sure your words have reached them, Asami-chan. By the way, will there be anyone home besides us?"

He shakes his head with a slight chuckle as they approach the house. “Not exactly, Asami-chan. They are effectively shadow-spawn of sorts, which have more in common with spirits and demons than with humans. However, some choose to assume a humanoid form in order to coexist in society, and others even choose the form of docile creatures like cats and such.”

"Youmu are as similar to each other as humans are to other mammals. In fact, technically, I would be considered one myself."

But, if you want to wash it before I confiscate its form, that works as well. As for your other inquiry, though…that is questionable, and I really do not want to risk it either way. I hope you understand…” He reaches across to her and pulls her scarf closer to her face. “Besides, you are still human enough to catch a cold last time I checked, so all the more reason to get you home.”

Feeling an odd presence of some sort lingering over his shoulder, Sever tilts his head back to identify the source. However, he finds that the cause of the 'chilling' aura is very much familiar.

"What brings you before me, if I may ask?" He turns towards the other and crosses his arms. "Whatever the case, it is good that you came. I was planning to approach you anyways."

Sever narrows his eyes slightly at the comment. "Despite my appearance, I would appreciate it if you wouldn't refer to me as a 'kid'. Just because I choose to maintain a young appearance doesn't give people like you the right to be so overtly condescending."

"If it is okay…could we share it?" He wipes a bit of his drenched hair from his face as he sheathes his blade in a makeshift blade-holder for the time-being. "I would also like it if you could let me use your shower and perhaps your phone as well."

Sniffling asami reached out to grab her umbrella just to see her dear friend. ” Sever! ” Opening the umbrella as fast as she could asami hurried to make her way to him, holding it over him more then herself ” Jeez. You shouldn’t be silly at a time like this. You can get sick. “

Sever turns around upon hearing the voice, looking at her with widened eyes. "Asami-chan..."

Soon enough, his infamous blade, Koukai, becomes visible in his drenched hand, evaporating the moist drops into a thin mist as they assault its edge. The fact that he rarely uses it except in tense situations quickly brings justification for his worry. Whatever he was hunting, it would probably not be ideal for Asami to be present when he clashes with it...

He loosens up a little bit more with introductions out of the way. "I see. Well, Mitsuki, I am honored, as well as elated as I said before, that you would say that. To have my name known by the famous Nase clan, and most likely my intentions as well, will definitely make things more simple on my end. Although, the question remains as to the degree of the prospective alliance..."

Sever greets the girl with a respectful bow, his hands locked firmly at his side. After all, the one before him was perhaps even more than merely another student, but a lady from a widely-respected clan in the Spirit World society.

The aura about her was definitely as frigid as he would expect from one of her kin, almost like a imminent winter storm waiting to consume all those standing in its path. However…he knew that his presence was just as imposing to anyone else as hers is, so his bow was out of respect than out of fear.

"Afternoon, Nase-ojou-san." He finally rises his head after those very long seconds of keeping it at half-mast. "I am elated to have someone of your stature in my presence. By the way, I am known as Sever Dolorum, and my duty is to keep the tide of Youmu in check. To cull the flow, if you will."
